Spo, Quin and LaRoche’s style of offense has noticeably help Jaime and Bam.
But it has also helped Wiggs, Pelle as well.
Wiggs has more room to operate and he is getting easier buckets compared to last year.
Jimmy is +5.1 on free throw makes but only +1.4 on PTS
Jimmy Butler is taking two fewer shots a game. The numbers don’t really matter that much, though. I don’t watch warriors games but I imagine the key to their offense is how much they support Steph Curry. Is he doing that?
Wiggs, Davion, and FRP for a disgruntled Jimmy saboteur was impressive ngl. Still, Jimmy’s value is in the playoffs. Everyone knows he coasts in the regular season (except for that one game last year before the on court tantrums started).
There are 2 guys on this sub that drive anti Wiggins narrative every game thread.
Jimmy’s peak is simply better than wiggins, but for half the price and 5 years younger he’s a much better player to invest in for us at this point. Not to mention jimmy’s peak moments will happen less and less as he ages.
17ppg Wiggins is so consistent it’s actually kinda spooky
its funny how we spent years arguing with other fanbases that kept comparing their players to Jimmy using box score stats. and we always talked about how Jimmy’s impact goes way beyond the box score.
yet, here we are, doing exactly what those other fanbases did. sad.
Jimmy is a playoff player at this point. Not regular season. However, he fully gave up with us at the end
I get, weve moved on. And weve gotten lucky with our team and everyone seems to be firing on all cylinders. But lets not pretend its comparable to a 36 year vet on a team with steph fucking curry. We need to let go of this bullshit.
This is miserable
The heat totally won this trade, not only did we get Wiggins who is six years younger and half the price of Jimmy, but with who we got we traded for Davion and Norman Powell and we got first round pick KJ who can be a star, we were forced to make a trade at the deadline and we rebuilt our team. Great job Heat!
At this point in time, I’m glad the Heat have Wiggs instead of the Butler.
We should have signed Russel Westbrook
Jimmy Butters
Jimmy is still clearly the better player, but it’s great that the Heat can get 85% of the production after unloading a disgruntled player.
The difference is is that Wiggins is our 4th to 5th score an option in Jimmy is a top two option for them. Wiggins was not good last year as our second or third scoring option but how are roster is this year makes him that much better.
The big difference and why Jimmy is better even if the box score doesn’t show it is his FTA. When Steph is out, Jimmy actually play makes for the whole team
I was looking at these thinking how much the heat won this trade. And I still think that they did, but Wiggins has efficiency better field goal percentage… But somehow Butler scores a point and a half more… Because he goes to the line and hits his free throws. That means he’s being aggressive.

Don’t compare our Maple Jordan to that Jimmy Butthurt.
