This was a typical Vikings emotional letdown spot and it really was just that out there on the football field. We can just say it like it is right now. The Vikings played like a poorly coached team today. Um you have eight false starts at home. I don’t know if that’s a record, but that is almost hard to do. That is absolutely embarrassing. And is that on the quarterback? Is that on the head coach? A lot of it I would just say not having your team ready to play. That’s on the head coach. Kevin Oonnell third in short situations. Again, just terrible. He refuses to run ball uh run the ball in those spots when he has been successful. I mean, listen to this stat. When the Vikings pass on third or fourth and short, two yards or less, they are four of 19 this season. That’s 21%.

  23. His coaching style and play calling has become more predictable every week. He refuses to stay with the run and chooses to pass on 3rd and short and 4th and short. He's fooling no one. The only one he's fooling is himself for thinking he can succeed in those situations, and yesterday's post game presser was nauseating. It's was "We didn't", it's never "It's my fault". It's time for him and Kwesi to both go at seasons end.

  28. I think the Vikings were shell shocked that the Ravens defense was really good. They looked at stats and not the personnel. They didn't think ravens defense would be able to hit like that and cover them.

  30. Why pass (a deep ball) on 3rd and short more than once. You’ve got Mason to power the ball for a much better shot at a first down. You’re down by 14 score a TD and go for 2? Why would you not kick it extra point and make it 7 point game? KOC needs to give up the play calling. He’s not an offensive genius!!!

  36. Amazing anyone ever scored…. the Ravens are 30th in the league in 3rd down conversions of 4 yards and less. They're 12th when it's 5 to 10 and first when it's 10+. They would be better off taking a procedure penalty when it's less then 4 yards.

  37. This team will NEVER change, and Vikings' fans need to accept it. They'll never be good enough. They haven't even made a Super Bowl since the 70's. It's been half a century. My father and grandfather passed away waiting to see this team win just one. Never happened. I don't expect to see them even make it to one in my lifetime. I gave up on them after 40 years of embarrassing play and chokes. Yeah, yeah, JJ this and JJ that. I heard the same about a hundred other players to come through the door, only for this team to be in the same place they always are… over… and over… and over… eventually unrewarded faith just dies. That's the story of Minnesota sports as a whole. I'll casually glance at scores now and then, but no Minnesota sports team is worth following or devoting emotional energy to.

  44. You need to run the ball to open the pass. KOC needs to give up the play calling duties. All KOC wants to do is pass. Last week against the Lion's they went to a balanced offense. Run Mason more than Jones.
