Caleb Williams explains Bears’ ‘nut up or shut up’ drives vs. Giants on Facetime | FNIA | NFL on NBC
Yo yo. Yo. How you doing, man? I’m good. How are you? I’m doing good. Congrats on today, man. Thank you. Um, all right. First thing, just like, you know, what’s it? You you went to Southern Cal. You’re from, you know, Maryland. How How is it throwing in the snow in Chicago and the cold and and snow and and wind and all that? Yeah, it’s good. It’s fun. Uh, I’ve played a few um a few snow games in my life and and things like that back in back in Maryland or playing FBU and things like that going to Texas or going to Ohio and stuff like that. So, um yeah, it’s fun. I’d rather have a snow game rather than, you know, a rainy game or something like that. But, uh, no, it’s football. It’s football weather. It’s football time in Chicago. That’s what the Bears are built for. And, uh, we got to keep it rolling. Got to keep it going. Yeah. I mean, so like what changed the last two drives of the football game? you know, must have it moments. What changed for you guys in the offense? Yeah, I would say it’s that it’s must have it moments. And um in those moments, it’s it’s uh you know, nut up or shut up. And so, um I think that’s what I think that’s what we do. I think that’s uh I think that’s how we handle it. And uh we go out there and execute our plays, do our job, and you know, we we we’ve come out with the victory these these past couple games. What about your head coach, right? like what what’s his attitude when you guys are kind of struggling and going through some ups and downs on the offensive side of the ball? What’s he saying to you? Uh keep it going, you know, keep being consistent. We’re right where we need to be. Uh just do our job. Uh score points when they’re there, make explosives when they’re there, and when they’re not. You know, go get the nasty yards and um you know, keep us on track. What do you say to yourself in those moments when like the offense is struggling and you’re kind of going through those dull moments? Yeah, I think I think there’s, you know, you you you still do all the things necessary. You go through your reads. Um you handle business as usual. Uh but when there’s a time, it’s you know, it’s it’s time to go make a play for the team and and get the energy going, get the atmosphere going and uh you know, get the momentum going. I know it’s been a learning process, right, with the Ben Johnson offense. Like where where do you where you feel like you’re at overall with everything? Yeah, I I feel good with where I’m at, but I do understand that I’ve got a I’ve got so much more uh in the tank. I’ve got so much more to learn. I’ve got so much more uh growth for this team and be able to help this team win win win ball games. All right. And then like take me in your your brain when scramble mode when it’s chaos mode and you’re go like what like you’re amazing at getting out of trouble. You’re amazing. Yep. Uh, I think those moments it just comes down to instincts. It comes down to visualization that that I do throughout the week, throughout the, you know, before the game, the night before the game. Um, you know, in those moments, I mean, I think it comes down to just, I think, you know, a little bit of lifting and, uh, having a having a strong lower half and be able to, you know, break tackles and get out of stuff for the team and go make a play. What about the touchdown? What did you see there when it kind of opened up? The scramble touchdown. Yeah, the scramble touchdown. Um I once I once I uh you know flipped around and got my eyes over to Cole um I saw that it was like a a corner on them. Um and then I didn’t see any backers. So um you know offensive line and and running back did a good job with the fake and you know having those guys um you know flow to the flow to the you know the the fake. Um and then from there um didn’t see anybody and so I just took off and wanted to go make a play for the guys. Yeah. All right. I mean you got more wins this year already than last year. What what’s the big difference in year one and year two for Caleb Williams? Uh I would say the belief um you know within within the guys but also the coaches. Um I think I think uh you know having having haven’t been has been big for me. Um you know just the information he provides just the uh the help that he provides um you know throughout the week and throughout game day and things like that. So, um, yeah, I think it’s I think it’s been good for for us. Uh, we’re I feel like we’re, you know, we’re we’re we’re a two punch tandem. Uh, you know, two peas in a pod. And so, um, we got to keep growing together. We’re going to keep growing together and we’re going to keep winning games. Awesome, man. Thanks for taking some time with us, man. I appreciate it, man. Keep balling out. All right. See you, dude. See you, buddy. Hi, I’m Mike Trico and thanks for watching. Make sure to hit subscribe for the latest news and highlights from NBC Sports.

IceMan18 🎉

Caleb "Clutch" Williams…👍❤ "Da Bears"
It doesnt snow in Maryland? I hate dumb questions
Caleb is coming…. The game is slowing down he is humble and hungry. have a qb and coach for the next 10 years get ready for the ride take the north and never give it back !!! Bear down
Keep on keeping on Caleb Go Bears!😊
Love Caleb and Ben, the rest of the team struggling. Can’t catch, can’t tackle unless you are CJGJ. Special Team a fucking joke. DJ need to catch that ball in the endzone. WRs left almost 100 yards and a couple tds. Caleb don’t trash his teammates, but man. Oz, Rome, Kmet, DJ, by a freaking jugs and stop letting your QB down.
I'm gonna miss football in the snow, given it every stadium is gonna be a dome now
Clutch Celeb woooooo
startttt lutherrrr!!!!
King of the 4th

Ugh! More Nepo Baby Channel.
Besides Disney, I wonder if Ben watches film with him.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN……WE HAVE OUR FRANCHISE QB!! BEARDOWN!!
Chris Simms has ALWAYS been a Caleb guy. Take a bow, Chris, you’re being vindicated!
Burden is our new wr#3 because O.Z. drops too many

Chris "no buttons" Simms?
OMG! Fans since Trojan days, have believed in CW #1 pick. He's a gen talent and under HC Ben will max his talents. Over the yrs, fans witnessed a scrambling magician who can change the game in less than 1 minute to go on!
Nut up???? I think you meant put up or shut up lol
Simms said Yo Yo
California Wms said Yo
lol!!!
🐻⬇️
NUTS UP BOYZ
They’re playing a fifth place schedule. They suck.
Caleb 'And Things Like That' Williams
No 18 still making some amateurish mistakes but.. he is also starting to click with this league and he’s not a quitter. Late game gusty competitor. Also HC is a nice play caller and has a passion to win. Burden and Loveland need more air time and finally liking the double tight end set with Kmet as a devastating blocker on sweeps and counters.
Caleb is 2 parts Farve and 1 part Montana. And 10 parts Mike Ditka!
Not a finished product, but he's a good NFL QB successfully operating a good NFL offense right now. Ben Johnson threw everything at him in the summer and he put the work in. It's always good to see someone rewarded for hard work.
🐻⬇️!
Why don't you nut up or shut up for the whole game. I get it, a 'W' is good always but the future has GB, GB, Phil, SF, Det, Pitts. Good luck. Da Bears!😁
He is a Scorpio 🦂 it's in him my boy 11/18
Luckiest team in football
Caleb and stuff like that Williams
Good Questions ..compared to reporters asking ignorant questions post game..Chris Simms likes the Bears 😊
There is no reason for Zacheuus to continue to start. Start Luther burden.
All those that have the dropsies, get down and give the team ten!
