Chandler & Lou PREDICT if OKC Thunder Will BREAK WIN RECORD! Shai Gilgeous-Alexander CONSISTENCY!

Uh, one of the later games last night out here in Los Angeles. Uh, Thunder taking on the Clippers. Told y’all like the Thunder are going to lose. It wasn’t going to be last night. No Kawaii, no Bradley Beal for LA. SGA has another 30-point night, 12 assists. He only did that all in 29 minutes. Not bad. Uh, Isaiah Joe with 22 off the bench. Chandler loves saying Isaiah Joe. We get to talk about that. Harden with 25, six assists. He had 22 of those points in the first. But they’re they’re just they’re rolling. They’re just going to keep it moving. Eight and0 now. best start in franchise history coming off of a championship. Um 15 and0 start is what we have most recently from Cleveland last year and that was a fun ride for everybody just to watch that happen. Are we are we thinking we can beat that? I mean you know we like to make fun bets here with each other. What do you think? I I mean look at that schedule. Like I I don’t I think we need the schedule to say yeah. I was going to say do we even need it? You’re right. Like I could have seen I could have seen the Rockets, the Nuggets. like still they can still they can beat anybody and listen it’s the NBA anything can happen but that is a very very very favorable schedule right there and and this team they just never cease to amaze me man again just like insert Isaiah Joe last night let him go nuts and have 22 SGA just a constant to me last night too is a real test they got kicked in the mouth early with James Harden going berserk I think they were down like 14-2 or 12-2 or something and they just stay calm they stay cool collected they’re so young but they’re so mature and They play just with that poise and it starts with SGA obviously and his whole demeanor, but this team is just so so good and so solid and and on the flip side they they they slowed uh the Clippers down. They played great defense. Switch and switch and switch perimeter defenders all on the same team on the floor at the same time with two offensive brilliant G players and SGA and Chad. It’s just they can mix and match so many different lineups and they have such a luxury of just throwing in, you know, the Mitchells, the Aaron Wiggins of the world and they just don’t miss a beat. So, this was a great team. This was youth verse experience and and and youth came out on top even after a pretty sluggish start for them. Uh they forced the Clippers to do things that that makes them uncomfortable. Uh, but this is just I I feel like every single day it’s hard to find something good to say about this team because they have zero holes and I I think they’re going to I think they’re going to break the 15 and0 record. I think they’re going to I think they’re going to continue just to to win basketball games because they’re so young. Even if they’re they’re so deep. There’s no load management with this team. Give me at least 17 and0 start for this team. 17. He’s on the record. It’s on the record. Lou, I don’t know, man. Sometimes it’s that one weird game. It’s always that one weird one, right? But yeah, when it comes to OKC, they play a lot of those weird type of games where it looks like tonight is not their night and then they have this switch that they click on and they take it one possession at a time. We’re going to go one possession at a time, stopping the bucket, stopping the bucket, stopping the bucket. That’s a classic and it works for them. Like they you never see this team rattle. You never see them get out of character. They continue to play their brand of basketball and they always find a way to get themselves back in the games night in and night out. Every time like last night they got off to a slow start. It looked like the Clippers were going to were going to have a good night and then slowly for but surely they just begin to walk you down. They begin to wear you out and that comes from the depth that they have on this team. That comes from the leadership and that comes from having the shotmaking ability in the guys that they have. They just got it all. They got it made for them. You got to give them credit. You know, we talked about we’re two seasons ago, we were talking about how inexperienced they are and how we can’t trust them. Now, look at the level of trust that we have in this team. Like, we’re we’re not even batt Yeah. We’re not even batting a lash anymore. Like, I don’t even want to see the schedule. I think they can run through all of these teams if they play their brand of basketball. Obviously, you know, you start to travel, you start to do all of these different things and these different factors that go into, you know, having a season where you can break records like this. You know, those things count and those things matter, but with this team, it looked like they don’t. So, I think they can rattle off 181 19 in a row if they really wanted to and they stayed healthy. They really could. 189. Wow, we’re just getting up there. Okay. By the way, this is all without Jaylen Williams. Like all of it. It’s all without their all-star alldefensive superstar like like it’s it’s ridiculous. It is the definition of next man up and it doesn’t matter who’s playing that night, they always have a chance to win. that it’s all okay. So, it’s that SGA and Hartstein are the only two guys that have played every game. Chad’s played in five and as you just mentioned, Jay Will has yet to play. And that starting lineup gets tweaked basically every night, which almost goes against anything uh we’re used to. So, that to me, I think, Lou, is the big story here as well. It’s like they just have such a mixand match ability to do anything they want on any given night. I think that’s the scariest part about them. Is that is that wrong? No, they can they can go a lot of different ways, but they’ve turned into a a a successful plugandplay team. But the thing that that works for them and their plug and play is everybody that they plug in can play. You know, sometimes you gota Yeah. Sometimes you you put guys on the floor and you kind of got to hide them or he’s a niche guy, uh he’s a three-point shooter or he’s a defender. Like, no. All of these guys are two-way players on their team. All of these guys can defend and all of these guys can go out and get you a bucket and can be the leading scoreer on well can be the second leading scoreer outside of SGA on any given night. It’s no clear pecking order on this basketball team. They win by committee and they win together. I I love what they’ve created in OKC. So, you’re not wrong for saying that at all. Terrify. You said they’re both they’re mostly two-way players. Guess what their defensive rating is? I probably would guess top. I was gonna say top three number one. Like how what do you see a team this young? Yeah. Buy into that side of the basketball that want to play defense that don’t care about how many points did you score? Like they don’t they don’t care. These people like Kase Wallace is going to get paid from the defensive end. Like he’s gonna he he’s going to make a hundred million dollars in his career by getting steals and being athletic and being he he he’s embracing that. Chad Homegrid can defend Jaylen Williams. We haven’t seen him yet. He’s a allNBA defensive player. Lou Dort like just seeing the energy and the effort Lou Dort put on last night on James Harden once he kind of hit those three early threes was just mindboggling how much they they almost care more about that side of the floor which is contagious too because you don’t want to be the guy to let your team down on that end. You don’t want to be the guy to get beat. Like it really is impressive how good and how balanced this team is. And they’re so versatile. They could beat you in so many different ways. And the biggest thing is the luxury of the depth. It does not matter who is in the lineup that night. Plug in AJ. Plug in AJ Mitchell. Plug in Aaron Wiggins. Isaiah Joe’s their best shooter. He barely plays when they’re fully healthy. It’s ridiculous how good and how deep this team is. I think it’s scary because now they know it works. So if you’re not bought in, you’re ridiculous at this point. We we kind of did this in the the preseason, the couple of days that we were on um about reaching that 70 game mark. It is difficult like I understand that what I’m asking it but I don’t know plus 430 odds of doing it anybody taking that Lou you like you like these types of numbers you thinking I don’t I don’t see I don’t see them going on a losing streak I I really I really don’t I don’t see them losing two or three games in a row so if you could stay consistent like that every month like used to have 10 to 12 games a month I think that was the mark in between in between 8 to 12 games a month and when you’re on a winning team your goal is usually, hey, let’s get out of this month 8 and three. Let’s get out of this month seven and three. Let’s get out of this month 8 and two. And you set those little goals as a team month by month. You could tell that this team is kind of using that recipe to kind of let’s micromanage how this season is going and and how we go about it month by month. If they can stay in a range of 8 to two, uh, eight and one or nine in one, something of that nature every single month, I say why not? And it looks like they’re going to be able to do it. Yeah. And it’s it’s a long season. I don’t want to be ridiculous here, but can you picture them losing 13 games? Like, I I I can’t I really can’t. And they’re going to be ups and downs again. There’s going to be some there’s going to be, you know, hopefully not serious, but there’s going to be some injuries. There’s going to be some guys out. There’s going to be some tough times for them. But I truly can’t see them losing more than 15, you know, 13 games. So I think they are going to be in that position, you know, come the end of the season down the stretch, they are going to be in the position to make history and have the most regular season wins. They are that good. They are that young. They are that deep. All the sports science, all the analytics, all the load management doesn’t exist with this team. If it does, it’s just an option that they want to do because they’re so deep and so good. They want to get some guys in the rotation. But well, I think history will be made from this team. Yeah. Listen, they’ve went undefeated in October. They’re still undefeated in November. It’s only the fifth, right? Play with Yeah. Like, do we see them losing three games in November? No, probably not. Right. So, if you go into December now, you got rollover games. You go into January, you got rollover games. Like, if they’re micromanaging this season how I think they are, cuz that’s what I’m used to. I’m used to coming in, hey, November, we got 11 games on the schedule for November. This is our goal. this is how we got to get out of this month. If they’re micromanaging the season like that and it’s a tangible goal of theirs, something that they can put their hands on and they know if we carry ourselves in this manner, we can get it, I think they do it. Their biggest issue is locking up the number one seed in like February and then really having nothing to play for besides making history. That that’s going to be their biggest concern. Yeah, but they don’t even see that last year. They didn’t do that last year. I thought they were gonna mail some of these games in and rest guys. They didn’t rest anybody going into the postseason. Yeah, they never took their foot off the gas. They didn’t rest guys. They didn’t rotate guys in and out of the lineup to give everybody a night off. It’s like, no, we’re going to continue to roll and we’re going to keep this momentum going. So, I see I I say why not. And you know what? They’re fearless, too. They’re not a team that’s going to be like looking, oh, we want them first round. They do not They’re not dodging any smoke. They don’t care who they play. Yeah, they’re a they’re a scary group. Not I’m not going to lie. Guys, we’re going to take a quick break. We’re going to do some headlines on the other side. Run it all then it run it back.

  1. That 0-0 mentality and development. Also…these young guys have a hunger to get that ring while they still are young and are able to be together. As a small market, they have a small time frame to be together. These guys will make the most of the time they are able to be together. Im rooting for them!

  2. I wish ppl agreed with me last year when I said that we were finna be unstoppable. Ppl laughed and mocked but NOW everybody is on our side 🎉 THUNDER UP!! WELCOME TO THE CHAMP BOAT FOLKS

  3. I love how the media wants to eat all this up about being 8-0 but ask SGA and he just says we arent worried ahout that we just play and take it day by day

  4. I'll be real, until the last two games, I wouldn't have said OKC played particularly well (or at least shot well) but their defence just keeps them in games.

    All time team.

  5. No, they are not. You aren't beating Denver, Houston, GS, LA, Clippers, Spurs all 4 times. You are probably losing 2 to each that's 12 loses. Not to mention an old lose here or there. Back to backs. Injuries. Load management. I don't think they win 70. It will be closer to 60 than 70. They are good but their flaws shooting will get them along the way. They might lose tonight. Back-to-back on the road. Portland is not great, but they are pesty. Saying that OKC probably wins by 20. But if they lost, I'd not be surprised being it's a back-to-back.

  6. At the rate they are going, OKC will basically schedule their own ‘losses’ to rest starters and key players. For them it’s a marathon to the finish not a sprint.

  7. "There's gonna be some injuries, there's gonna be some tough times for them…" Dude, these are the tough times. They've had 4-5 guys on the injured list most nights. What are they gonna be like when they're healthy?
