How it feels being a T-Law Truther after the Texans game

  1. If Trevor has million fans, then I’m one of them.
If Trevor has one fan, then I’m THAT ONE.
If Trevor has no fans, that means I’m dead.

  2. If we actually field a competent oline and Tlaw still plays like garbage. It’s time to move on. That’s all I want no excuses for anyone. Just proof he isn’t it. Yesterday sucked but remember if the hands to the face call doesn’t happen we win that game. Lotta different conversations today if that penalty doesn’t happen.

  3. The o-line has been awful and the defence is an absolute sieve when they can’t get turnovers. Just bleeding on both ends.

Today sucks. We’ll get them next week.

At least Jakobi caught everything thrown his way.

  4. He’s the best we got. Even when I look at the QBs coming out of college, I’m not impressed with them.

  5. I’m not saying it didn’t make sense to draft him and put faith in him as the future franchise QB. But this is year 5. Here are a few QB’s who were drafted with him or after: Mac Jones and Davis Mills, both who teams already determined can’t cut it and one who continues to beat the Jags anyways; Brock Purdy (2022) who took his team to a Super Bowl; CJ Stroud (2023) who owns us in the division; Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Drake Maye (2024) who all look better right now in their second year than Trevor ever has.

We keep waiting on him to be the guy, but at some point that’s actually got to happen, and in year 5 he isn’t looking like “the guy,” who deserves 55 mil. “The guy” is one who elevates a bad team, not one who looks inconsistent on a solid team. He looks like a good athlete who has a rocket arm, but who throws with inconsistent accuracy and still misses wide open guys, who gets rattled under pressure, and who can’t make reads. Do we expect this to get better in year 6? 7? 8? 10? How many years are we willing to wait?

  6. Either you’re a younger Jags fan or you completely forget the QB ineptitude we went through once Garrard was gone.

He might not be where you want him to be, but he is miles ahead of what we had for years and years before him.

  7. Keep wasting years building the roster and hoping he improves? Ridiculous. Over 5 seasons and a mile long list of excuses isn’t enough?

  8. IMO He is good enough to win with pieces around him, even though he cannot win alone right now. Also keep in mind he is the same age as Penix Jr. He can win now and improve in the future.
