I’m just waiting for Vrabes to let Josh do the play call where Tonga releases from a runblock to be left open and use his Charmin soft hands on a big man tuddy.
Yesterday’s game was like porn for Pats fans. Not 1 not 2 but 3 home run big play TDs from our 2 burners in the rookie draft class. Offense while not perfect continued to show stretches of brilliance and the defense/special teams clutched out a win. This team is starting to look like an actual contender which is crazy considering how awful it was a year ago
Any chance we have Steph Gilmore in for a workout? Dude still wants to play and keeps tweeting about the Pats and Vrabes
I really enjoy how much other fans are refusing to admit this team is actually playing just as well as any other top team. We could be hosting an AFC Championship game in January and people would still be making excuses for us winning. Bills and Chiefs lose games they “shouldn’t” and media keeps them in the top of power rankings, while the Pats just quietly taking care of business.
Yes this team has some flaws, and yes our depth is bad at a number of spots thanks to a few years of poor drafts. Yes this is a team ahead of schedule on its rebuild. All those things are true.
But I watched the Colts and Broncos games. I watched the Bills and Chiefs over the last few weeks. There is no reason why we can’t be in the Super Bowl this year if we stay healthy. And after every win a bunch of people will complain about why it didn’t count.
There is a universe where we run it back with Mayo and are probably 3-7 right now
The Bills loss and meltdown is almost as fun to watch as our win.
