Don’t Sleep On The Phoenix Suns Because If You Do, You’ll Pay The Price 🏀 #nba #suns #devinbooker

How many times have I said on this show, don’t come into a game against the Phoenix Suns thinking you can play your B minus game and walk out with a W because you’re going to get your ass beat if you do. And that’s what happened again tonight. Clippers probably felt themselves a little bit. I know they beat us the other day. We didn’t have James Harden. They came into this game thinking, “Oh, we’re more healthy now. We know what we did with James Harden last time. We’re going to go BTA against this Phoenix Suns team.” That’s not going to happen. That’s not going to fly with this team. four of their last five games, the Suns have been up by at least 18 points in each of those games against the Jazz, Spurs, and now the Clippers twice. Not only are they a good team, they will go belt to ass against your team. The Suns, when they get up double digits, and not just like 10 points, 12 points, when they get up 15 plus points on you, and they were at one point in this Clippers game, good effing luck trying to come back down from this team double digits. Because if you’re going to do it, you’re going to have to do it the way the Clippers almost did in this game, and that’s get hot from three Nicholas Batum style. But every time the Clippers got within five or six, Grayson Allen was hitting a big three. Royce O’Neal was hitting a big three. Devin Booker, despite officiating being awful tonight, should have had three and one buckets all on shot attempts. The ability to answer back is a mental toughness that this team did not have a year ago.
