Also what’s going on with the Corsi score in the Edmonton game? I’m not getting why so many Avs are way below 45%
Mackinnon just being an absolute stud
Blowout wins are always fun, but it’s also fun seeing the Avs have to actually battle and still come out with a W. Canucks were giving it everything they had and the Avs were playing sloppy and still came away with the 2 points. Team is just on fire right now.
Glad to see Blackwood get a W. He’ll look even better after some more practice and games under him. Glad to have the full woodshed up and running
i’m so fucking excited to get out to Denver and see these boys play a couple games
I’m going to the game against the Sharks on the 26th. I’m excited but also dreading seeing Celebrini possibly having his way with us. Hope they shut the Sharks down!
One absolute blowout, one gutsy grind. Two Ws. We have an incredible squad this year, guys. To play as sloppy as they did last night and still come out with the Win? I’m mighty encouraged.
Watching Hughes in that game, he tried more than a few ankle breakers on our guys. But, our guys were able to mostly make the play or at least keep up because they practice against Makar, MacKinnon and Necas. Other than that, yeah he’s a great skater, but he just doesn’t have quite the silky smoothness of Makar. I know I am biased but our boy is just elite and miles ahead of everyone else.
Back to backs with travel are usually 50/50 on the second game, so I’m glad we got the 2 pts against Vancouver. Great weekend for the boys, now let’s manifest that first (legal) Landy goal.
That was Blackwood’s rust game and he still performed fantastic. Defense failed in front of him multiple times and he held strong, sans 2 near-unsaveable goals
This is an insane stat card for the oilers, probably one of the most lopsided games I’ve ever seen. The only 3 Avs on the graph not performing above mcdavid is Val, Brock, and Landy
