There it is

  1. Look at Herbert’s and Goff’s passing charts yesterday. Stupid amount of checkdowns from both of them, because both are protecting their OLs who have been injured. Something tells me there’s a bigger issues than just ADoT and QB play. (Trash execution at WR/TE group!)

  2. that was the real story of the last game tbh.

our O line has been injured to all hell, literal “leading the league” levels of missing guys. Even if Bryce WAS That Guy, the line cant protect him long enough for his receivers to cover ground. (and when we DO get distance, we still have WRs getting hit in the hands and dropping it…)

which is why I’m so annoyed we weren’t leaning on RPOs and roll outs cause not only do they help mitigate Young’s size, but it also gets him moving out of the pocket and extending plays so guys can get down field and make the play.

  3. What’s weird is he’s shown he can throw the ball downfield, why aren’t they scheming in more passes downfield?

  4. Are we sure that’s not exactly what Canales schemed up?

Not at all excusing Bryce because I would think there’d be a few shots but if the trust isn’t there from your HC…

  5. I mean you can’t throw more than 10yrds when your receiver isn’t gonna catch them. How many shots XL got that was 20+ and he just can’t come down with em…. Of course Dave isn’t gonna call those plays when tmac is double covered and WR 2 and 3 can only catch within 15 and in XL case less than 5yrds.

  6. In before people who don’t know ball look at this and conclude that this has to do with arm strength.

  7. The pass that really stood out to me and that made me shake my head was the one he threw to
Tmac that he had to dive to catch…BY barely threw it past the line of scrimmage. Sigh

  8. Oh fuck all yall. Bryce is about to shut yall all tf up. Set 1 week reminders on this shit. Im sick of all the bitching.

  9. Some charts, you look at and find that they highlight some fact or trend that you didn’t know, perhaps wouldn’t have expected.

This one is more “yep, that is exactly what I just watched for three hours.” And not just yesterday but over and over the last 2.5 years.
