[Sweeney] Reid confirmed Josh Simmons is indeed back. He said “we’ll see” in terms of his return to the lineup
November 10, 2025
Specifically, he said “we will just see where we’re at when [Moore and Simmons] get back”
Also made no comment on what he did while at the facility last week, or about what shape he’s in, but that he knows he’s been working out.

Pacheco still hurt
So glad Veach addressed RB at the deadline
Can’t wait to see CEH take snaps in Denver w the season on the line
His quote about Pacheco was “I’ll have to see on Pacheco”
I’m assuming Simmons will be lining up unless he wasn’t properly taking care of himself while he was gone. I’m sure Reid wanted to be non-committal incase that was the case or maybe Simmons isn’t mentally there yet.
Too bad there wasn’t a good RB for a reasonable trade available
It’s time for us to sign some garbage rb from a practice squad to play instead of letting Elijah Mitchell touch the ball.
Was dorsey a bad gm? I assume not if memory serves right
It’s not just about properly taking care of yourself. If you miss 4 weeks of football training you will get out of football shape. Just because Simmons wasn’t slamming vodka, beer and cheetos doesn’t mean he stays in football shape. He missed 4 weeks of football and practice. It’s probably going to take 3 or 4 weeks for him to get back into shape.
BRASHARD SMITH SEASON LETS FUCKING GO BOYS
I think it’s entirely possible that it does take Josh a bit to get back into things and Jaylon starts. It’s also entirely possible that he’s good to go this week. I am also entirely confident that, whichever week he does end up coming back in, we won’t know he’s starting until he takes the field. It only helps our opponents for that to be public knowledge.
I’m going to say it again – we’re lucky Pacheco even being a possibility after that injury is a miracle. I’ll take whatever time it takes. The real issue is how we’re scheming our RB game, not the individual RBs. If anything I think Hunt has been a better RB for us than anyone for a while.
Josh will probably be back to playing in a few weeks
And Mitchell will still be a healthy scratch
He’s definitely playing. Moore did well but Simmons was better no question
Unless he’s just incredibly out of shape from doing nothing for a month, he’ll play
Should have just traded for Hall.
If Mitchell still isn’t “familiar with the system” by week 10 why is he still on the roster? We already know CEH isn’t the answer.
