If only we had a below average defense
Look at how slow Brock Purdy has been to come back with a much less severe turf toe injury. I don’t want to see Burrow on the field at all for the rest of the year, especially at 3-6.
There is absolutely no point in bringing him back this season

This is the addition the defense needs!

Gotta get those bad reads out early so he can help lead the team to the promised land of a 50 point a game season

Leave him out and let him rest, Offense is not the problem with this team
Sit him out for the season. This is pointless.
Everyone asking why are acting as if Joe himself doesn’t have a say in if he comes back or not this season. He’s not being forced to return to practice if he wanted to sit out the season.

He won’t come back after we lose the next 3. It’s so disappointing because if we just beat the jets and bears like we should have, we probably are at 6-6 or 7-5 getting Joe back.
He better not play this year. The FO and Zac need to have a serious talk about Joe’s play style not belong out his longevity.
It would also be malpractice to let him play at all this year.

Plan:
* Joe returns with little change to make playoffs.
* Joe get hurt again.
* Fans look forward to 2027

This is the season from Hell. Shut it down. Launch Duke Tobin into the sun and hire somebody who knows how to draft.

just in time to get us to 8 wins, miss the playoffs, save Zac and Tobin’s jobs and miss all the best players in the draft
Umm…please no. Flacco hung 38 on the Jets and 42 on the Bears and still lost both games. QB play is not the problem.
Unless Burrow’s turf toe surgery somehow made him an elite linebacker or safety, sit his ass for the rest of the season.
I can’t believe how many people are in here saying that the season is a lost cause. We are only 2 games back from winning the division. We aren’t going to be the #1 seed but we can definitely win this division.
Unless he is coming back to play linebacker or cornerback, what difference will it make?

If the rumors are true, his first game back will be against Baltimore November 27th. The only way he play’s that game is if they at least split with the Steelers and Patriots.
