Desperation. That’s the word for both teams tonight in Edmonton. I’ll tell you why in CBJ Today presented by Ohio Health. The Blue Jackets have dropped three straight games for the first time all season long. That makes the goal tonight pretty simple. Get back on track. It won’t be easy for the Blue Jackets, though, because the Oilers have also lost three consecutive games, including their last time out. They got hammered by the Colorado Avalanche nine to one. That means they’ll be a motivated group. As far as it goes with the Blue Jackets lineup, some question marks going into this game. That’s because Dean Evson revealed that some players are dealing with an illness right now. He’s not quite sure what the lineup will look like, but he does know Blue Jackets fans should be ready for a spirited game. You know, we have to be a desperate hockey club. We have to do some things that are um you know better obviously uh than the last three hockey games and we clearly know that you know the team we’re playing tonight is going to be desperate because of their last game so should set up for a real intense hockey game. The puck drops tonight at 8:30 on FanDuel Sports Network and 971 the fan. Jody Shelley is going to be working the broadcast for Amazon which means Steve Mirs will be joined by a special guest that is hockey hall of famer John Davidson.
