‘Patriots vs Rams or Seahawks’ | Ndamukong Suh PREDICTS who will feature in Super Bowl LX
So, I’m joined by Jason Bell and Dom King Sue. We’re going to talk about the trades that have been made in the past few days in the NFL. The trade deadline was Tuesday, 9:00 UK time. Let’s start with the huge one uh for the Indianapolis Colts. They trade for Source Gardener, one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. Uh now with the Indianapolis Colts from the New York Jets, uh Indianapolis gave up two first round draft picks, 2026 and 2027. What did you think? Well, it tells you what they think about their team, which is we got a chance to make it to the Super Bowl. And we believe in that cuz first of all, to make that kind of trade for those kind of assets, you have to convince ownership. You have to say, hey, this is the move we want to do. Does this make sense? The owner goes, are we in a winning window? Do you feel like this? Yes, we do. All right, let’s make it happen. He allows you on defense to do so many more things because there are games where he’s just going to have to match up and take away a top receiver. And if he can do that, it allows you to play differently on defense. Does it tell us something about what the Colts think about their quarterback, Daniel Jones? Without question, I think they believe in him and even if they don’t, um, which I’m going to say they absolutely believe in Daniel Jones, but they have a great backup who was a first round pick. And in addition to that, Jay Bell brings up ownership. ownership believes that they’re in a window right now to win and I’m going to give you all the resources to make all the decisions for us to go and win a Super Bowl. The New York Jets were busy uh during the trade deadline because they they shipped off Quinn and Williams. They’re all pro best of the best defensive tackle. He goes to the Dallas Cowboys. Is that enough for Dallas to improve a 31st ranked defense? I think so. I got to give a shout out to Jerry Jones for that move. He’s a disruptor. Duke can play, right? And I think the way he goes about his business will work in this Dallas defense. Now, luckily, I got an expert next to me who can break this down. Absolutely. But when I look at his game, I feel like he will disrupt and attack, and that’s something that Dallas does on defense. They like to shoot the gaps, and that’s what he does well. No question. I think it was done in a perfect time. Again, kudos to Jerry for making that decision because one, they’re on a by-week even though they’re 0 and one on the by-week because of Jay Bell. Ultimately, you get ultimately they find ways they can get him sped up with terminology, all those different pieces. And in defensive line play, it’s hit ball, C or C ball, hit ball, and that’s what he does. The New York Jets um are in a rebuild. That’s clear. That’s clear. Although they’ve won two games in a row now, uh they’re stockpiling draft picks. In the 2026 draft, they have two first round picks and two second round picks. So, four picks in the first two rounds. 2027, three first round picks, one second round pick. Again, four selections in the first two rounds. Is this good news for Aaron Glenn? It means he’s going to be given time to build their head coach. Well, he’s telling you a couple of things. Yes, this gives him time to build, but he’s saying this isn’t the identity of the team I want. Right. I know these are top players, but they don’t fit my philosophy. I’ve tried it. Doesn’t work. Now give me the picks to go build the team that I know I need. And and those picks might not be used on I mean, what’s that? Eight picks. They may not be used on eight players. They may have package stuff up because they they got to find a long-term answer at quarterback. There’s tons of optionality. And that ultimately what they can do now is they have pieces to the chest and now they can make all these different moves. But even with them making moves, I love the way that they’re still fighting and building that team because again, Jay Bell made a very clear point. Aaron Glenn wants to build his team his way. And some of those guys weren’t seeing that vision right away. So, you’ll know this very well. Howie Roseman, the general manager of the Philadelphia Eagles. He can’t resist a trade. He’s always looking to add. He brings in Jaylen Phillips, the edge rusher from the Miami Dolphins. Yeah. What did you make of that move? I think it was a great move because one, Jaylen Phillips, yes, he’s had trouble with injuries and these things throughout the year, but Philly, what they do best is they protect their players and they have a it’s players in numbers. And I know Jeremiah Washburn, that defensive line coach will make Jaylen Phillips play at a very, very high level. Vic Fangio likes him, defensive coordinator, right? They were there together in Miami. Yeah. So, and and that’s the key. If your Dcoordinator who you trust goes, I can use this guy. I know how he can be disruptive. And if you look at this team, what have they done well when they dominate? That defensive line has taken over games. Roll them in one after the other. Exactly. That’s what they do. They believe we rush in numbers. How good is it for a player like Source Gardner, like a Jaylen Phillips to you, like you both said, you kind of alluded to it. It doesn’t work for the team, doesn’t work for the player. You got to go your separate ways. These players have got a fresh start now. It’s amazing how that changes the outlook of your season. just the change of scenery. I’ve seen it happen. Guys come in, they’re not happy for whatever reason, then all of a sudden they got that new pep in their step and they are ready to go. So it usually works out for everybody. So hopefully that’s the case. It works out amazingly for most times or not. I remember getting to Philly and being elated being in that building. Jaylen Phillips earlier on as soon as that trade happened, he got there after the first day. He was elated and it brings a fresh breath of fair fresh air to you as a human, but not only to that team saying, “Look at this great player. We just add it and we’re already at a high level.” Even on a personal level though, you’re a competitor. Yeah. There’s there’s a difference surely between competing on a team that’s four and eight or three and seven to suddenly know I’m right in the Super Bowl race. Yeah. I mean, you look at Sauce Gardner, I went to a eight and two team versus a two and eight team, right? Like, that’s massive. Same thing with Jaylen or Phillips. I mean, two and eight. I mean, and now I’m on a team that has an opportunity who just won came off a Super Bowl, got all the pieces. I’m adding something to the defense. That’s huge. It makes you fall in line a little bit. It’s like, hey, what do I got to do to keep winning, right? Not what do I need to do for me? Yeah. Let’s uh talk about this wide openen season, week 10 in the NFL. We’re into the second half of the campaign now. The race to Super Bowl 60. Is there a best team in football? Sue, who is the best team in the NFL? That’s a tough question. I mean, as you said, it’s wide open, but if I had to pick two teams that are going to meet in the Super Bowl at this moment, I would say the Patriots are right there. And then on the NFC side of things, I mean, it’s a tossup between LA and Seattle. So, oh my gosh, this is so tough. It’s tough, right? Because there’s I mean, there are so many teams you could make a case for. I like Seattle right now. I like Seattle. I like Seattle, but I don’t think you’re completely convinced. I’m not convinced. I I saw what I liked what I saw today. Y’all going to hate my vest, but ultimately have are their wins all quality wins? I’m still rolling with Kansas City. M yeah. Wow. I think they’re gonna get hot. I just I just I don’t doubt that. I can’t I I just see enough. Is it Is that again you you build up trust you build up trust in Andy Reid. You build up trust in Patrick Mahomes and they’ve been there. They’re trying to get to a fourth straight Super Bowl. I don’t even want to feel like this. I don’t even want to feel like this. But it just wouldn’t surprise me. Yeah, it just wouldn’t surprise me. I see other things in other teams I really like, but it’s so competitive. Things got to shake out and I’m just like, where’s where where’s my trusty pair of socks, man? They never smell bad. Well, and it’s just always clean. Put them socks on. Sue, we we’re talking the AFC. Obviously, the Colts are 8-2. Uh New England are 8 and2. Denver, it feels like it’s like the whole Payton Manning, Tom Brady. I mean, Denver, I love Denver. 8 and2. Are they a dark horse for you? No question. They are an elite team. One, because they have an amazing defense. Yeah, you got faith in Bon Knicks like that. I didn’t say that. I did not say that. I don’t know what quarterback you ever think I like. Bon will not be that one. But they have an amazing defense. Their head coach though is that offense. Yeah, he’s special. Shawn Peyton has a way to win games and that’s what they’ve been showing you throughout this team or throughout this season. They found ways to win. We have established the fact that this race to Super Bowl is going to be wide open. Buckle up and enjoy the ride. I reserved the right to change my opinion tomorrow.

patriots have barely played any good teams and are we forgetting their losses to the steelers and the Raiders…. The bills win and I guess the buccaneers win was impressive though
Suh is the most disrespectful, dirty player to play the game. Eff that guy.
