The term ‘Warrior’ is often overused when it comes to professional athletes. In the case of Duncs, it isn’t enough. He truly was the ultimate warrior…every second of every shift of every game he played. It was an honor to have seen him in action.

His 2015 playoff run was superhuman. He somehow got better the more he played, round after round. No Conn Smythe trophy was ever more deserved.
