Huge shoutout to Travis Etienne Jr for doing Arian Foster’s celebration yesterday after the Jags went up 29-10. Unlike Jaire Alexander, our guys used it as motivation and rattled off 26 unanswered points 😈

  1. Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I think it’s cool when players pay homage to former greats even if they’re from the other team. I bet Arian thought it was cool too.

  2. I highly doubt any current player even knew that was Arian foster’s much less made them more motivated lol

  3. I don’t see why an opposing player playing homage to a celebrated Texans player is a bad thing? He’s essentially saying “this dude put you on the map – here is a way for me to show you that”. Like, why are we angry about this? LOL I hope people always remember AF and pay homage to him by emulating his TD celebration.

  4. Lots of players do this. Arian made it popular, but he last did it in Houston when Travis was like 12. Not everything is a slight.

  5. I love this. Etienne clearly is being respectful. Respect back.

Also I love horns down so maybe Im just a sucker. But its objectively the best hand signal and hand taunt in sports. We all need to chill imo.
