It seems that money is the best language these owners of ours understand and this speak loudly and clearly!

I know I haven't spent money on the Mavs since the trade and I'll keep it that way until Nico is gone.

  1. Granted, everyone knew the streak was BS as Cuban was literally giving away tickets in some of those years just to fill the house.

    But still, it is a shame how far this franchise has fallen

  2. I mean the reality is that Mark played a lot of tricks to keep the streak going, like mass ticket giveaways and $5 ticket prices etc. We’ve had some lean years in there, after all. There wouldn’t have been sellouts if Mark weren’t a great marketer. But he is a great marketer and that’s a sign of it. Conversely, letting the streak end so abruptly after Mark’s departure, at a point like this, is just another sign of how clueless and tone deaf the new ownership is.

  4. Not a coincidence that as soon as the ticket sales start to go down, there are articles released about ownership considering firing Nico. They really didn’t give a fuck until it started hurting the bottom line. Now they are priming the narrative.
    DONT GO TO GAMES, DONT GIVE THEM MONEY.

    Fans finally stopped going to the games.

    Fans should keep not going until it is no longer worth the hassle for them to own the team.

  9. There were a few years during the tail end of Dirks career, before DSJ and Luka arrived, that I thought the streak ended and the organization was just lying about it. Wonder if the message has finally seeped into these clowns

  10. It was rigged anyway in the sense that many times games in the past were “sold out” but were half empty especially during the regular season

  27. I was at that game and the whole row next to me was empty in pretty good seats, it looked maybe at half capacity

  28. Idk if this is twisting the knife but I just wanted to say as a lakers fan now that I’m watching Luka every game and not just his national tv games I’m shocked the city of Dallas didnt burn down the arena within a hour of Sham’s tweet you guys deserve better than this
