Let’s begin with the new hottest team in hockey because there is a new hottest team in hockey and they are and they are the Colorado Avalanche. Absolutely legendary backtoback over the weekend rode back to back take belt to ass nine to one in a game that was the shitkicking of all shitkickings between good teams, bad teams, bad teams, good teams. I don’t care who were the the participants were th that was such a I should be turning this [ __ ] off, but I’m watching to see if they get to 20. I did turn it off, but I will say like if you’re going to if you’re going to have a [ __ ] kicking on a on a prime time headliner game, make it look like that versus like a 4:1 5:1 game where it’s not interesting. At least they kicked the [ __ ] out of the Oilers so bad that it was a talking point. It was so ridiculously humiliating for the Oilers that it was an interesting game and I was annoyed. We’ll talk about like the where do they go from here in a little bit with the Oilers, but want to focus on the Avalanche for now. Uh because you [ __ ] cry babies. I’ve been not Dan P’s voice. I’ve been on the [ __ ] Avalanche since everyone was given up before they made the goalie trades last year. Okay. So like the people that were like, “Oh, well now will you say something nice about the Avalanche?” We say something nice about the Avalanche. Okay, we like him. Nathan McKinnon [ __ ] rules. We’re going to ask what everything means for his hard candidacy in uh a minute. But there that wasn’t like uh they’re out grinding, they’re out working, they’re whatever. Like they just even they even got lucky bounces in that game. Yeah. Like they they were so dominant and everything that could have gone right went right. It was truly magnificent. Like I said, like I I was I didn’t turn it off and like the the ducks were going to overtime. I second screened it. That’s why I turned I was like, I’m not turning this off because they might get to 13, 14, 15 minutes. And great behavior by the the ABS to just keep the foot on the throttle the entire time. Do not take half that game off. No, they shoved it right down Edmonton’s throat. So like unbelievable stuff. And I we talk about the best line in hockey quite a bit and that’s becoming like a thing that we love to discuss. It feels like you can’t discuss the ABS top line as the best line in hockey because it has Nathan McKinnon and I feel like that disqualifies it from being like the best line in hockey. We’ve never said McDavid dry idle plus anybody. That’s not fun. Right. Exactly. So, but that is probably the best line in hockey right now. It might be. Uh Nathan McKinnon, Julian Moravo, nine points over the weekend this backtoback against the Oilers and Vancouver. Nine points. He now we’re not 20 games into the season. He leads the league in points by four points. He leads the league in goals by two goals. So yes, in just a little bit we’re going to be doing the Nathan McKinnon heart candidacy thing again because if you don’t remember last year, no matter what happened, everything was turn the new how do we make it about the Leafs was how do we make it about Nathan McKinnon winning the heart, which is a shame because he didn’t end up winning the heart. Even though I think he had a better case than the guy who won it. Not the best case overall, but a better case certainly than the guy who won it. But uh they are your hottest team in hockey. Uh there is a new hottest team in hockey. They are called the Anaheim Ducks. They’ve won seven straight sevengame win streak has included road wins over Vegas, Dallas, and Florida. Watched them last night. Watch Beck at Senica pick up two goals. What a rookie year he’s having. Leo Carlson, another two goals. Back-to-back games of multiple goals. That guy is an absolute freak. I feel like such an [ __ ] that I did not pick up 10 Ducks jerseys when I was in Anaheim. We’re doing like a little or at least I am a little rule of I’m not getting non Oilers jerseys until we reveal the jerseys that we got each other in the Fanatics game we’re doing because I don’t think you got me a white Beck at Senica. But if I brought back a white Becket Senica and then I got two, what’s wrong with that? I was actually gonna say like that sounds [ __ ] amazing. What’s wrong with one to Sean? But damn. Uh yeah, the Ducks are your hottest team in hockey. Yeah. Uh Ducks still unbelievable. And by the way, tomorrow night, not to to shoot our wad on the slate grade, tomorrow night has the game of the year. It’s the Avalanche, the hottest team in hockey, previously hottest hottest team in hockey versus the new hottest team in hockey, the Anaheim Ducks. And yeah, like the Ducks, I’m shifting my expectations from the Ducks for like, oh wow, this is a nice little run to being like, yeah, this is like an probably an uns unsustainable heater, but this is a playoff team and this team is here and this team is not to be [ __ ] with. I’ll tell you, not to to call our shot while we’re shooting, but new hottest team in hockey, that’s going to become this is going to become a franchise because I’m seeing people in the chat saying, “Talk about Tyler Batusi. The Blackhawks are the new hottest team in hockey. I’ve been wanting to talk about Tyler Berusi. Quite frankly, I’ve been wanting to talk to Tyler Berusi about this little start of his for a while, but no, they are not the hottest team in hockey because the new hottest team in hockey is the Boston Bruins. Boston Bruins, they’ve won six straight. They have won six straight. They beat the Leafs on Saturday, which some would say is not impressive, but they did it without Charlie Makavoy. That’s the hottest team in hockey. It’s got to be the Boston Bruins. Pablo Zaka career year. Yes, he’s he’s having Victor Arvinson career like like rejuvenation year. Victor Arvinson might be the most important player on the Boston Bruins. As Sean puts up the chatter, Daniel saying, “Can’t wait for them to change the topic to the Bruins win streak.” Ah, [ __ ] you. You know us too well. They’re the hottest team in hockey. We got a show to do today. And today the Boston Bruins are I’m I can’t wait to do this segment like every day. You know how you mentioned that you uh you did not buy a Becket Senica jersey because you’re not buying any non-oilers jerseys. Yes. I bought a Morgan Geeky jersey at intermission of the Bruins game on Saturday night. I had to do it. I [ __ ] had to do it. I’ve wanted a Morgan Geeky jersey for for a while. They were beating the Leafs. Morgan Geeky scored. I was like, “All right, we’re buying them this jersey.” So, I mean, the Bruins, I don’t even know what the [ __ ] to say about the Bruins, but I’m buying in. The hope is right in my veins. I mean, got a show to do today. Who’s the hottest team in hockey? All the podcasts are saying it’s the Boston Bruins right now. It should be noted even though Casey Middlestat has been is out and has been hurt like Pavle Zaka has played almost exclusively with Casey Middlestat and Victor Arvdson this season. I believe the next most ice time he’s had with a forward other than than Arvdson and Middlestat is Posternok at like 20 something minutes. So, he’s been not not to say that those guys stink, but when that line was put together, we all kind of celebrated that those are supposed to be the third legs of whatever lines they’re on, and they made magic together. Not only have they made magic, but Pavl Zaka, who talked to any Devils fan, at one point you thought might have been something of a lost cause, has certainly I mean, you might have thought he something of a terrorist based on talking to Devils fans. Yeah, Devils fans. But, uh, he’s proven to not be just an NHL player, but like a good middle six forward. And this season he’s having right now, like I dare I say really good second line center, Pavl Zaka. Yeah, I would say so, too. I mean, that line has been really good. No jokes. Like, it’s a it’s a joke on paper, but when they get out there, they they’re the best line on that team so far. And, uh, Victor Arbiton, I was not joking when I said like he is a very important player. like he’s not only looks like he’s having fun for the first time in like 5 years and he went to the Stanley Cup final last year, but like he looks like he’s having fun and the Bruins just tweeted out a clip uh a day or two ago of him in the locker room chewing out teammates like and the Bruins are doing that [ __ ] now. It’s I don’t know what got into them where they’re like, “We’re going to be transparent and just show you all of the bad moments that we have in locker rooms because we’re winning these games.” But like they have guys who are holding them accountable and surprisingly Victor Robertson is one of them. Can’t be a spoke B without guys speaking up. You know what I’m saying? That’s right. Guys yelling in the room. What did you think of uh of Sturm? The clip of him of Sturm yelling good. Like he’s very Tony Montana. I mean it’s not He’s not being mean. He’s just [ __ ] giving it to you like it is. Well, he’s not being mean, but he’s also not being nice because I believe that’s how he started that rant. if you haven’t seen it. He’s like, “All right, I came in here and I was gonna I I’m being nice to you guys. [ __ ] that. That’s over.” And then he But he wasn’t saying anything horrible. He was like, “Do you guys you just experienced this? You know what [ __ ] h like you you just missed the playoffs and had to trade all your good players.” Yeah.
