‘s the kind of guy you have to to kind of beg him to stay off the court. He’s not somebody that’s going to take any longer than he has to. Absolutely. He’s a baller. He wants to play each and every time there’s a ball game. And here’s the young bull, Colin Ston, who’s going to get an opportunity to run things for this Charlotte team. Well, the big man in the middle, Kulk Brener. He has really played well for them. And here he is trying to get that lob. He’s been especially good at the other end, protecting the rim. He is on some sort of a a a run right now, blocking shots, but they move to his disadvantage on the lob and the jam by Aton. Well, that’s the same kind of play that the Hornets tried on their trip down. Didn’t execute. Austin executed. Sexton all the way tries to get it to Carl Brer and ball out of bound. How about this assist? Another look at how he sets it up, brings the big guy to him, then just throws it up near the rim and lets DeAndre take care of the rest. Very nice play. 12 in the East currently early on in this year. Charlotte underneath that’s Canipple. Of course, he’s such a great outside shooter and that’s where he does a good portion of his damage. In fact, he’s had more three-pointers as a rookie than anybody in the NBA through his first 10 games. Anybody in NBA history. Impressive. Donic corner of the key. Smart open three on its way. Does not go down. Good rebound. He had him for a moment, then they stripped him of it. You got to get back offensively though and taking on two Lakers was Ston and he gets fouled. Yeah, Sexton’s always been one of the quicker players. Good little measuring stick for them, Stu, to see how they bounce back cuz things have been going. Miller hurt the last week or so. It’s been tough for them. They’ve lost four or five. You know, obviously back to the Laker game against Atlanta. During the course of a year, you’ll have a couple of stinkers. Hopefully, that’s one of only a few that the Lakers have this year. Luca with the basketball. Eightton was rolling to the bucket. He leans in. Little one-hander just inside the free throw line is no good. And here comes Charlotte. Neither of these two teams run significantly during the course of a game. They’re more of a half court set. Here’s a Bridges leans in and scores. Miles Bridges who went to Michigan State for a couple of years. Career highs and rebounds and assists last year. Little two-man game. And they get it right back to Reeves in the corner. They isolate Stew and here he is. Little fall back and he scores. That’s what he’s been very adept at doing. Selling that drive when they shut it off, shooting that little one-legged runner there and getting results. Reeves missed three straight, of course, until returning. His longest layoff last year was five. Eighton tried to get the defensive board instead running out of the back court. Here comes Luca Donic. Luca surveys the floor, goes one way, then the other, then another way. Boy, he was a windshield wiper plus that time. Now it’s Dant. Oh, throw it down with one hand, big fella. Oh, wow. That was some play by DeAndre cuz they kind of read that law, but he just went a step higher. Luca his first assist. Sasten for three. Donic the tip, but it goes right to Charlotte. Open in the corner. Here’s Bridges. It’s perfect. They swung it over to him nicely and he was wide open. You know, and ideally, you want to get to this team early. Don’t let them really start to feel real confident about winning this game. They are three and six. They lost to Miami the other night. Miami started off great. Count it and one as Luca got the board and then went in there and got fouled. He’ll shoot a free throw minutes, but did have his six double doubled in as many games. It was a season low in scoring. In fact, the first three games this year, he averaged 45 and a half points. Last three, 28 and a half. He’s been the leading scoreer for the Lakers six times already this season. Saxton getting a hand on it. That time was Ruy as we’re just over three minutes in to the game. Bridges getting a lot of time of possession and he scores. Two and a half hours from here is Duke. Yeah, he’s shown a lot of poise for a young a young player. Did a great job of reading the defense and took his time. He and Coopa Flag formed a really tough duo. Count it again for Luca a couple of times since he came into the league. And we’re tied at 11. Luca completes the three-point play. Put the Lakers up by a point. That’s right. 1211. Now it’s our second lead change of the game. Nobody’s led by more than four early on. Canible trying to get around Aton. Drive kick all the way out. The save that time is all the way out on top. Corner once again setting up camp over there is Bridges. It was a nice catch and shoot because Rury was frozen. Was right there but shot down in the eye. Seion James is trying to guard Luca and he can’t do it. Some magic from three for Luca Donic. And there’s very few, if any, that one-on-one can guard Luca. Luca a quick nine on the board. Well, Luca had had the last nine for the Lake Show up until then. when Austin scores. And again, you were talking about the uh the injury that it meant, you know, the way he plays the basketball game. He had to wait till he was 100% before he came back. Well, at least close to 100%. I don’t know. Once season starts to a lot of these players, there’s never 100% anymore. You just have to learn to play with certain little bumps and bruises behind his back. Dodgers, who’s going to pick him up? I got the answer. Nobody. He lays it up and in. And already in double figures is Luca D. They have some very talented players who can put the ball in the basket. Simpson getting it right back underneath wide open surrounded by Lakers but Musa Vabate is the one who scores. 610 he played in Michigan fourth year had his 10th career double double in the loss to Miami the other night. Once again it’s Donic. That one wasn’t even close. Right into the lap this time of Bridges. Put pass to the other side. Stepping into the three. That’s his range and that’s his one of his favorite shots. Now underneath off sealing out perfectly was Ruy Hatimur and he scores easily. A nice look by Luca but great seal by Ry. That’s his first attempt of the game. That string of 50% games ended at nine the other night by for Rury. But think about that. He had nine straight games shooting at least 50%.
