  1. #1 closer in baseball to facing prison charges and on the run in another country is insane

All over a few thousand dollars in gambling money is even crazier

  2. He’s hanging out with Mel tugger (Tucker for the non cfb folks), commiserating over their hundreds of millions lost to incredibly easy and avoidable decisions

  3. While these two chucklefucks deserve to get the book thrown at them (especially if Clase ever returns to the states), I do think it’s a bit perverse that the bond and potential sentencing is higher than you see for shit like rape cases.

  4. curious to know why so many jumped to Clase being “on the run.”

the article says he’s not in the US, which seems pretty standard if you don’t live in the US in the off-season.

  5. Clase has made a few million already. Should be enough to live in a low cost of living country with no extradition and hide for the rest of his life.

  6. Having a God given talent of throwing the ball like a superhuman does not equate to having basic common sense. What a tragic waste of talent.

  7. Kash Patel is an absolute joke of an FBI Director, but ngl – I’m kinda into this recent crackdown on sports gambling. I don’t recall the fbi ever being this aggressive towards it

  8. lol. Just the level of stupid. Multimillionaires cheating to get. 5 figure payout. Gambling being fucking allowed at all with all the major networks in on it. Our law enforcement spending time protecting multibillion dollar companies from thousands in losses while some people are being robbed blind by the same corporations.

    Just a sight to behold

  9. it’s the 2026 baseball season and the Venezuelan league is taken by storm by a new up and comer named Causto Farmona

  10. The fact that I’m seeing a Draftkings ad on this post will never not be funny to me. Sports gambling is an absolute scourge on society.

  11. Not trying to make light of either crime, but it’s wild that Clase is facing way more prison time than Wander Franco will serve.
