I think the upgraded run defense has not been mentioned enough. They have held top tier RBs to less than 100 yards (except King Henry). CMC finished 30 and 50 on 2 games. Saquon less than 60. JTaylor less than 80. NONE of them scored a TD against us. We’re tied 1st with rushing TD allowed (3). I believe Ford, Landman and Lake is a great part of that. Credit to BY and V8 on keeping the edge and not overpersuiting the qb.

The uptick in sacks this season is also notable.
Not to mention being 18th in blitz rate. Sending an extra guy 30 percent of the time.

I know people don’t know ball when I watch game previews and they still talk about x team has x RB so the rams might have a rough time because Saquon blah blah. Like come on, watch a couple games and tell me the last time the running game was an issue for us. Even when Henry went off, I didn’t mind the Ravens burning clock and keeping it on the ground that game. Oh and Henry was stuffed on the 1 multiple times that game.
Also can’t run on this team because other teams usually have to play behind 1 or 2 scores since Stanford is HIM.
Landman and Speights are not playing like two UDFAs on minimum salary. Love this duo. They play hard.
