Report: Mitch Keller Indeed on Trade Block; ‘Pirates Love Nothing More Than Saving Money’

Pirates are reportedly looking to trade keller to save on payroll.

Bob nutting has run this franchise into the ground and it’s not even funny anymore. I won’t be surprised if he starts locking the restrooms at the stadium and then making you pay to use them.
I actually want to trade keller, but I want to to get more money so we can sign FAs, but I know the real reason is because we want more money, this franchise is terrible, and all about money.
I like Keller he’s not old by any means but at this point he’s the veteran of the pitching staff, the rotation is the most solid piece of the ball team right now. IF THEY USE TRADING HIM PROPERLY(which I’m skeptical) I’m ok with it.
They’re going to trade Keller for a pittance and sign some random for 2 years just to shut people up about the lack of multi year deals and call it a day. There is a world where they trade Keller and use it smartly. I just don’t think it’s this one. And most importantly, the best outcome is that they just keep Keller and pay someone anyway but that’s even more of a fantasy.
