Not that I’m expecting a huge upgrade but can we try ~~Mermaid~~ Mermis instead of Myers? What’s the worst that could happen?? Myers has looked straight up lost out there. Which is saying a lot because our whole D has looked rather lost most of the time.
Watching them fuck with the top lines repeatedly is the “definition of insanity” type scenario. If you have to change the lines every game, your team has zero identity.
Is there any chance Thrun ever gets in? Myers and Benoit have been kinda brutal

We’re still trying Domi at C eh. And are struggling defensively but refused to play the 4th line C known for his defensive play (Kampf).

Reilly/Carlo as a top pairing? Fuck
The more and more I look at this team I absolutely hate them so much, this is a wildcat team at best man. Imagine we get a few injury’s we are absolutely cooked

I’d like to throw Domi with Matthews. They had great chemistry last year when Marner was out. You can leave Knies there too.
I’ve like Robertson with Tavares. Willy could complete that trio.
McMann seems like a good fit for the third line too, and that leaves Joshua, Lorentz, and Blais for the fourth line.
Not good how often and easily Laughton is getting injured given the play style expected from him. Really feels like the line combination musical chairs just doesn’t go well without him as a centre.
This looks good. Giving Robertson top line minutes will pay off.

Why do we keep trying Domi at centre
For the first time in 35 years I couldn’t be bothered to watch the Leafs.
Sit Matthews for two games. Let him rest his soul. He’s been carrying the team.

This year is a write-off. This roster is not as good as it was 2-3 years ago, and we have no first round pick.
Is McMann a top 6 forward now? I haven’t had a chance to watch much this year.

Is Robertson marginally better than Nylander at exiting the zone and back checking?
Is Myers going to be better with OEL? I think he should sit a game out- would rather see Mermis again.
Carlo better be gearing up for a revenge game because him and Rielly looked like Pilons this weekend 😭
