Cavs have made 10+ three-pointers in 98 straight regular season games, a new NBA record

  1. I don’t think this is sustainable. Yeah, we made that many 3’s, but out of how many attempts? All it takes is a bad night beyond the arc and the game becomes a fight and, from what I’ve seen so far, we’re losing in the paint.

  2. The problem is the Cavs (especially without Garland and Strus and Jerome) don’t have a lot of creators to initiate offense without going iso. So saying less 3s is great but that just means they’ll use more iso instead. The ball movement won’t just magically improve. They’re taking contested threes instead of contested twos subjecting their bodies to hits. I don’t have a major issue with it — they are above .500 and have full season to work thru it.
