During that 3 game losing streak a lot of yall were ready to burn him at the stake, saying things like “he lost the team”, “x player doesn’t like him”, ”they aren’t buying in” where them haters at now?

I’ve seen enough, he’s a better coach than thibs.

  1. I definitely like the offensive implementations so far along with not grinding the starters into the ground. Hopefully it translates into playoff success over a long period of time.

  2. I’m with u man. Never seen ball movement like this out of our guys. Also the subs/rotation is fire! Love seeing the different combos. Our bench is deep this year and he knows how to use it.

  3. I swear half the posts in here on off days are people who happened to have a reasonable take for once trying to hold it over everyone.

We are all aware how many fools post dumb shit bc of gambling addiction and just generally not being a basketball fan who decided to just like the Knicks lately

  4. I’m not one of the doomers who freaked early into the season, but I definitely did not like the signing when it happened.

Happy that he seems to be proving me wrong so far. Hope he can keep it rolling. This could be our year for sure

  5. Yeah man some people were out here calling him Doo Doo Brown … that was flagrant but not gonna lie, funny af

  6. I mean I agree but also we’re 8 games into the season and they’re 5-3 against an easy schedule 😂

  7. Some of the most knee jerky reactions come from this sub

His appointment did it, and then losing a couple of games did it too

All it does make clear is which niggas know ball and which watch the box score

  8. “how crazy ya’ll were” Stop lumping the overly dramatic and loud minority in with everyone else.

  9. The team is stacked and the East is terrible. This is all going as expected…it’s the playoffs that’s going to decide how successful he was

  10. Positive or negative, absolutely none of this means anything till Game 1 in April.

So let people talk shit about him now or praise him. It all means squat.

  11. It’s really feels like a more collaborative effort now. Assistants have a bigger voice, we have coordinators, and player input is more valued.

Especially on defense, I think Mikal & OG weren’t fans of Thibs defensive schemes. I’m noticing them attacking way more in the passing lanes and blitzing guys.

  12. Love what I’m seeing so far.

That said, Mike Brown will be judged in the ECF. Expectations are that high.

  13. It’s too early to give it a thumbs up or thumbs down but I am happy they made the change. Now we won’t sit here wondering what could’ve been as we played the same way over and over again.

So again, Coach Brown isn’t out of the woods yet, but this has been a great home stretch.

  14. It’s 30% his offense scheme change and rotations , 50% of our players just playing harder and knowing their is massive pressure to succeed, and 20% of us being fully healthy so far lol . I would sit him on a thrown with a crown but I do like what I’m seeing . They are getting better at it .

I just wish we had more off and on ball play calls instead of every movement being a dribble handoff to a pick and roll and everyone else standing at the 3 as one guy drives ( not saying this always happens but more often than not ).

Mitch has stepped up , OG, Hart and KAT are back to normal and from top to bottom everyone is playing good defense again so I’m not surprised we are looking better . We can’t fire Mike cause we don’t have a second option lol

  15. I don’t know if he’s necessarily better, but i like the word different. Thibs accomplished something great and Brown looks like the guy to take it to the next step

  16. It’s early, but I like him a lot more than thibs when it comes to offensive scheme and his overall personality.

  17. The losses have aged pretty well too when you consider all 3 of those teams look to be pretty good this year and all 3 losses were on the road.

  18. I wasn’t a Thibs guy but hated the firing just to hire Brown and I’m still not crazy about it. Here’s hoping I’m wrong

  19. FWIW we did not think we were getting a prime Pat Riley as a coach, but we needed someone to take what Thibs started and take it to the next level and get over “the hump”

He is a defensive minded coach, which we needed (and it shows already) and on top of that he will play different rotations and utilize the bench. That is literally all we needed from Thibs but he did not do it. Not shitting on Thibs, I appreciate everything he did for us.

That being said, I think bringing in a new mind like a J Bryant or similar it would take more time to get things going, where MB nearly hit the ground running as it took about 5-6 games to look like a really good contender.

  20. Why do we have to keep complimenting Brown at the expense of Thibs man. This shit is so lame
