2025 Remembrance Day Ceremony
Good evening and welcome to tonight’s game between the Chicago Blackhawks and your Calgary Flames. Each year, Canada marks Veterans Week from November 5th to the 11th. A time to honor and remember all those who served our country in times of war, military conflict, and peace. Tonight, we take time to recognize all those brave men and women who sacrificed so much for our freedom. Please join us in welcoming tonight’s ceremonial color party and honor guard from the Royal Canadian Legion. We are very grateful to have them with us tonight, including Piper Trooper Jim Perry, Corporal Brian Simpson, Master Warrant Officer Brad Mills, Warrant Officer Don Lzer, Corporal Stu Mccan, [Music] Chief Warrant Officer John McCormack, Sergeant-at-Arms Walter Meliki, Private Bill Fenton, Corporal Kelvin Leser, and Sergeant Kevin Karma. And now, please welcome tonight’s Booular, Petty Officer, Second Class Russ Middleton. We now ask you to please rise if you’re able and remove your hats as we observe a moment of silence followed by the last post to remember and pay respect to those who fought with the utmost courage and strength and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom in years past and still today. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music]
Prior to puck drop against the Blackhawks, we honoured the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country
