We only gave up 315 314 yards as a whole defense. Like it it was it it it was good. But we have to play situationally better. We can’t let people get off those runs that we let them get off. Get off those passes, those big plays, the chunk plays, especially when the game is close like that. Like we can’t do that. And they’re like, “Why are y’all on the defense?” Cuz I played defense. The same reason I’m pretty sure the defense will be on themselves. If you talk to any of those guys, they go be on theelselves. They know what they left out there. Everybody know what they left out there. And the offense, yo, was trash. We We were super trash. We We was tra the worst that he has played probably his whole career. Okay. And he knows that like that. What do He was pressured all night when he didn’t, you know what I’m saying? Uh get pressured. We had high throws when you know he was able to get the ball to the receivers. We had drops like the O line is bad period. We need help, bro. Like what do your two of 11 on third down? I don’t even think we completed a a third down to like the third quarter sometime, dude. Like Rogers was 16 of 31 for 161 yards. That don’t happen. And on top of that, D six of 66 six six completions for 66 yards and a touchdown of that came at trash time. Other than that, got two picks, three sacks, pressured all night. Um, what you what you expect to happen? The Chargers defense ain’t like that. They ain’t like that. We need help and it’s too late. Too late to get help. Especially on offense. It’s too late. trade deadline. I feel like the what you said was correct, Debo. I think A-Rod this might have been one of his worst games. Uh defensively, I wasn’t as upset. Same thing you said too. You have to eliminate the big plays, demand the mans, the eye disciplines, the the gouges, the run game. We did good, but when when we needed to do it most, like we can’t let them still get those 11 yard explosive runs, winning on first down, being able to control the clock and hold the ball that long. Um, I wasn’t as mad at them though because I mean defense they know what they had to do. Like you said, back to stop that. They did better. They did a They did a whole lot better. Make it not B, but don’t break. We got to force three, four, five, six turnovers to win a game cuz we got luster on offense. Come on, man. That’s that’s the part that I’m trying to get to you, too. where defense knows like you said them boys looking in the mirror they can know we can’t let them he shouldn’t have had that that type of r rushing attack on them on the on this day you know what I’m saying but the offense how bad they played brother like that that’s not normal you know what I’m saying so defense you still can go back and do better but offense like dropping passes wide open passes A-Rod we can’t have you performing like this at all I don’t expect him to perform like that again me either that’s why we point. We still need to improve on the offensive side of the ball. Like for sure, that’s not that’s not like four. Come on, man.
