Los Angeles Lakers vs Charlotte Hornets | Live Play-By-Play & Reactions

We do it live. Turn down my volume. All right, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, we are live tonight. It is the Los Angeles Lakers taking on the Charlotte Hornets. What’s up everybody? Welcome on in. Welcome on in. It’s Monday night, baby. Some Monday night basketball. What’s up, Jacob Fredericks? What’s up, Nick Patriots? Kingdom, Joe Brown, J Money, Great War. What’s up, guys? Welcome on in, man. It’s early. It’s early. It’s what? Only uh 3:30 here on the West Coast. 3:30 on the West Coast. Mhm. What’s up, Tristie? What’s up, Jay? What’s up, Kaire Pavalsski? What’s up, y’all? How you guys doing on this Monday evening? Hey, Lakes Show Austin Reeves is back tonight, baby. He got upgraded the probable, he’s back. And if we got any Hornets fans, Miles Bridges, who was Questable coming to this game, he’s playing tonight. Now, there is no LaMelo. There is no Brandon Miller. They’re both out. But good to see Miles Bridges who’s been playing really good for the Charlotte Hornets this year. He’s playing. Let’s go. Let’s have a good one tonight, shall we? What’s up? Uh, what’s up, Daniel Barry? What’s up, Doors? What up, man? Dors, what up, dude? Happy Monday, Daniel. Happy Monday. How’s everybody doing? Did you guys survive the weekend? You guys up in here? Oh my goodness gracious. Roach, I’m feeling good. I’m energized. I’m ready to go for another week, baby. Baby, baby, isn’t it good to be alive on a Monday in the sports area or what? Goodness is adrenaline in my soul. Sy Cody Rhodess. What’s up, good man? What’s up, Nathaniel Brooks? What up? What up? No, Giddy versus the Spurs. Yeah, he was questionable going into tonight. Now Giddy’s out. That sucks, man. Definitely sucks. That sucks, dude. Well, let’s see if y’all can win that game tonight. Josh, y’all need a win. It’s going to be tough without Josh, who averages uh 2199. 219 and N. Oh, he did mention he was going to average a triple double this season and he’s on his way to do that. Yep. Yeah. Yo, Pikachu’s mom’s in the building. What up, bro? Pikachu mom. Pikachu. What up, Manuel? What up, Antonio? Says you’re What up, bro? How y’all doing, guys? Welcome on in. Smack that like. Hit that sub button. AR-15 back tonight for the Los Angeles Lakers. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, he’s back. AR-15. Finally, we get to see Luca and AR-15 back together again because that was just so much fun to watch those two guys go at it together with each other. You guys want the score for the minor football game tonight? Yes. That’ be that’ be that’d be fantastic. Legs better shut up this game, says Logan. Yep. Today is a bounceback, a get-right game after losing to the Atlanta Hawks. That was a pretty rough one for the Los Angeles Lakers. Yeah, a trap game and s especially because the Hawks literally got rid of a lot of the players right before the game started. Yeah, they were without Porzingis, they were without Trey, of course, they were without um Jaylen Johnson and Nikquil Alexander Walker. And still Atlanta, they played fast. They had the Lakers defense on their heels. They were knocking down splashes. They were getting into the paint, getting to the rim, drawing fouls. And the Lakers just look flustered the entire game and then it was over by midway through the third quarter. Lakers are on a fivegame win or fiveame road trip starting that Atlanta game. So 0 and one to start the road trip. Now they’re here against the Charlotte Hornets are without LaMelo Ball. They’re without Brennan Miller, but they still have Colin Canipple. They have Ryan Cochrrener. They have Miles Bridges. They have Colin Sexton who they’re getting back today, right? He’s back. Yeah, Colin Sex is back. So, don’t take this Hornets team too lightly. They have some talent, too. This is a talented league, and the Lakers need to stay vigilant. Now, they’re getting Austin Reeves back tonight, so that’s going to help things out. But, Lakers need to bounce back after that embarrassing loss to the to the Hawks. And that’s what great teams do. When you get a bad showing like that, you get that taste out of your mouth, you go back out, you compete, man. I mean, that’s their only loss on the road this year. They’re 4 in one on the road. As you guys tune in, hit that thumbs up, hit that subscribe on the channel. We’re halfway to to 100. Let’s go. Let’s go. We have a $2 donation from Irving. Says, “Roach, I missed you. Did you miss me?” What about you, Josh? Of course, I don’t miss you power bombing me. I miss you powerballing, Roach. Irvin, love you, buddy. Cheers. And good luck tonight. Let’s see if y’all can bounce back, Irvin. Thank you, man. Thank you. Manuel says, “The only bad thing about the NBA to me at this point is the general amount of injuries through the league.” And yes, that is tough, man. Now, there’s still a whole lot of talent, and some of these games are still really, really good. And you saw at Atlanta, I mean, even without so many of their players, they still had a lot of good young talent that came out there and gave it to the Lakers, but you still want to see the big names out there, right? And it’s so early in the season and we already have so many injuries in the league and that does suck. And it especially sucks because a lot of these teams are having backto backs to begin the season and they have to rule out some players so they don’t get tired, right? Urban, thank you again for the $2 donation. Yousef too. Sweet buddy. Goodman says, “You know the Lakers glaze is out of control when you have people putting Luca and Reeves at the guard starters for the Allstars.” And you know what? They might. Yeah, they might. They keep playing like this. They’re probably going to get the votes. Well, no. It’s going to be Luka and Shay. It’s going to be Luca and Shay in the back court. This is not all about that uh fan vote. It’s also the player vote. It’s also the media vote. So even if the fans dominate one section, that player might not even make the Allstar game if the fans and media don’t. It’s going to be Luke Dun. Yes. Now maybe Reeves could be a backup if he continues to play like this because if he plays at this level, he deserves to be an allstar and that’d be really cool to see Austin Reese as an all-star this year. J Money says, “Man, Conan Nippo and [ __ ] Burner are both so good.” Josh in Roch. Oh, dude. Yeah, man. I was looking at them last night. Conquer Nipple 16 and six a game on 40% shooting from downtown. But Cockr Brener nine and seven a game. And this dude is blocking every game. He’s got 19 blocks over the last five games. Rener. He had four against Miami. He had four against New Orleans. He had four against Utah. He had four against Minnesota and three against Orlando. That’s the last five games for Cocker. And you’re not going to be able to score down low a whole lot against this team of Diabate and Cockers. Interesting how the Lakers attack that. That is ridiculous. 19 blocks in five games. Dude, how about you almost what three blocks a game, dude? Is ridiculous with that. Wish I could do that. So, I’m excited. Excited to see this young team. You also got Seon James, too. You got a lot of rookies that play for this team. James, another second round pick just like Hogurner. He’s been averaging nine points a game on 60% shooting from the field and from downtown. Damn. And they have Liam McNeely who’s a first round another first round pick for them. He’s getting outproduced by some of these second round guys. Dia, he’s another second round guy from back in 2022. He’s been having a great season off the bench, man. Averaging 10 and seven. Man, it must be nice to be able to develop young players. So, yeah, this Hornets team has some young talent. They do. They do. [ __ ] printers averaging almost nearly four blocks a game. But yeah, that’s he’s second in the league behind only in blocks. Yeah, going all those stats last night. That’s ridiculous for Cogburn. I’m really excited to watch him tonight. Says McNeely should have probably went back to college. Maybe you’re right. Maybe you’re right. Unfortunately, sometimes that happens here in the NBA where a player would come out of the draft one year too early and it sucks. LA42 with the $5 donation. Josh, I found a video on YouTube about how the East became so horrible in today’s era of basketball. Do you want me to send you the video? Yeah, sure. I mean, the Eastern Conference was pretty bad during like um LeBron’s run, you know, in the Eastern Conference. It was pretty bad back then. It was pretty weak, but I’d say it got more competitive. Mhm. Now, recently it’s uh it’s looking like the 90s a little bit more. And now with the East, you got some topheavy teams and some teams are going to compete down low as well. New York is competitive. Chicago is looking competitive right now. Miami is looking competitive. Um, of course, you got Cleveland. Cleveland’s probably the best team in the Eastern Conference. I know they’re not number one in the standings, but they’re pretty [ __ ] good. And if the Magic could get their is together, man. Mhm. They’re one of the, if not maybe the most disappointing team in the league this season. I was watching the postgame conference with their head coach and he was pretty pissed about his team. Good. He was pretty pissed about their effort. Hopefully that will uh wake up that team and they can start playing better after they face the Warriors this weekend. After basically saying how much they’re making it harder for themselves. They’re making everything more difficult for themselves and it seems like a lot of NBA teams seem to do that, man. So hopefully the Magic can step up and play better. Hey, thank you for the five LA42. Thank you, LA42. We appreciate that, man. Hey, what’s up, Bronny Pender? How you doing? Welcome on in. We appreciate you. Friday. Uh, usually yes, LaMelo’s still out and Brandon Melo’s still out, but Bridges and Colin Ston are playing today for Charlotte. That’s another team right there. Goodman Pistons. Yeah, they’re top of the East right now, which is awesome. Katie’s killing it. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Detroit’s competitive. I mean, they won a championship in the 80s. They won a championship in the 90s. They won a championship in the 2000s. And then that streak ended in the 2010s. Maybe at some point in this decade they’ll win one with Kate Cunningham looking like an MVP candidate. Devin Agnes with the gifted membership brochure for the Warriors win yesterday. Warrior and it’s going to that guy right there. Let’s go. Devin Devin Agnes, thank you so much for the $5 donation, brother. I mean for the get the membership. Speaking of memberships, five. Count them. One, two, three, four. Five gifted memberships from Mr. Avatar Roach. Let’s go Avatar. They go to Gabe, Doc, Lotus, Joelle, and Houston, Hank Hill, and Bright Casey. Welcome to the go to Fury. Thanks to Avatar for the Avalanche and Blocks, Blackhawks, and Stars win last night. Avatar, you’re too kind. Let’s go, baby. You’re awesome, Avatar. Too sweet, buddy. Thank you so much for the five gifted. And thank you again, Devon Agnes. Thank you, LA42. I appreciate that. And Evette’s in the house. Evette, how you doing? Everybody in the chat, say happy birthday to Evette. It’s her birthday today. Happy birthday, A. Hopefully you enjoyed the Warrior game last night. Ready, Roach? Let’s do it. A one, a two, a three. Happy birthday. Happy birthday to Happy birthday toette. Happy birthday. Happy birthday to Happy birthday. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday. 32 years young. Thanks everyone. And I know you had a blast at that game last night. I mean, that was the reason why they won, right? Oh, absolutely. They knew it was her. They knew it was the her birthday. They absolutely won for her. Okay. Glad you enjoyed it last night. Happy birthday. Hope out. It’s been a good day for you. Deans, I haven’t watched episode 3 yet. I won’t be able to watch it until uh later this week. Okay. Hey, what’s up, uh, Curtis Tart? What’s up, man? You got cooked so hard last night. Well, that sucks to see it. Cuz I had a talk with them, the Warriors. I told him to win cuz it’s my birthday. Hey, you got that mom in seeking you. Let’s go, Evette. I’m glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully you remember the game. I know you said you were drunk before you even got there. Oh, she lived it up. She lived it up. Oh, yeah. She lived it up. If y’all are just tuning in, we’re going to go over game time predictions and everything. Let me put up the stats for you guys so that way you guys can know what’s going on for this game. Uh, boom. There we are. There’s your season averages for both the Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets. Hornets averaging a little bit more points per game than the Los Angeles Lakers. 119 or 117. How about that? Also a better rebounding team. The Hornets are with Conanimple grabbing those boards. Miles Bridges, Ryan Cochrrener, Diabate. I’m not shocked at all that they lead them in rebounding. Not one bit. They average about the same amount of assists. Lakers average more steals. Hornets average more blocks. And that’s because of Cockr Brener, who’s averaging damn near four blocks a game over the last five games. [ __ ] Bunner’s got 19 over the last five games. I also got Diabate over there as well in the paint. Yeah, Diabate is getting like a block at game two. I think they got like 26 blocks over the last five games combined. Yes, Dabate and [ __ ] Runner. So, you got to be careful in the paint tonight against those two guys. Turnovers about the same about 17 turnovers a game for either team. Field goal percentage, Lakers got them beat. Lakers got everybody beat in the league. They have the number one field goal percentage in the entire NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers. Efficient, efficient, efficient. Three-point percentage. Well, the Hornets got them beat there. 36% to 33. Free throw percentage, Hornets got them beat there as well. Points in the paint, Lakers got them beat. Second chance points, Hornets got them beat. Fast break points, Hornets got them beat. I’m surprised at the points in the paint with how many cockp and Dia Bate Bridges could drive in. But then again on the other side you got Luca, you got Austin Reeves, you got Aton. So I expect a lot of these teams to go down low here today. I’m excited for it. So again, if you’re a Lakers fan, you’re wanting a bounceback performance after that loss to the Atlanta Hawks. I mean, the game was over by midway through the third quarter. It was OVA over and they were without so many players. The Hornets tonight are without LaMelo Ball. They’re without Brandon Miller, but they still have Colin Ston who’s averaging 16 a game. They have Colin Canipple, Coniple, who is averaging 16 a game. Miles Bridges, they have um Cochrrener who’s playing fantastic, their second round rookie, Diabate who’s averaging double digits off the bench as well. Trey man who’s averaging double digits. So, you got you got to be careful and take everyone like like they’re the Oklahoma City Thunder. You got to play them. Play them hard. When you’re when you’re facing a young team like you are tonight, yeah, you can’t underestimate them. This team could go fast and they got burnt by the Atlanta Hawks going fast last game. So, they got to keep up. It’s good that Austin Reeves is back here tonight. Do as y’all see Braun is practicing with the Lakers G-League team now. Yeah, he’s starting to ramp up, man. He’s going to be ramping up during this five game road trip with the Los Angeles Lakers and hopefully he could be back within a week and a half, two weeks. Yeah. Uh was it last week they said the goal was for him to come back after this fivegame road trip. If he’s practicing already, that’s a good sign. Very good. Very good. LA42 for the Lakers. Yes. AR-15 is back tonight playing alongside Luca Donic. That’s going to be great. Both these guys have been playing at an allstar level this season. Having them both back at the same time could cause a lot of havoc for the Hornets. Try to get him in foul trouble here tonight. Susan’s in the house. What’s up, Susan? She says, “Hello, everybody.” Hi, Susan. How you doing this evening or afternoon? What’s up, guys? Yo, we are 10 20 likes away from 200. Smack that like. Hit that sub button. Let’s go. Say 20 likes away from 200. 100. Sorry. 100. I was going to say like, damn. Appreciate that. Damn. Roach be throwing out extra numbers and stuff. Hey, I like to be extra. Mhm. Okay, that was you. I’m sorry. Let’s go. Glad you had a good one event. What’s up, Riley O’Brien? How you doing, man? What up, bro? Pikachu’s mom, you ready for tonight? Jordan go says Lakers schedule so easy. Well, it’s a five game road trip. Even if you’re not facing that great of teams, fivegame road trips are tough. That’s two weeks away from being your own bed, your own practice facilities. So even if you’re facing teams that have a good record, road trips are tough, man. You can’t take anyone lightly. Mhm. I hope you learned that lesson against Atlanta. They’re without half their starters. More than half their starters. And still the Lakers lost that game. You’re getting AR-15 back. That’s great. But still, don’t take anyone lightly. No one. He still got I trust [ __ ] He still got talent. You got that young talent here. Miles Bridges could have a really good game. Don’t fall into another trap game here tonight. What’s up, Matthew Doll? Congratulations on that beatd down last night, brother. What? Eight and three of the season now. Seven and three. You guys are looking incredible, bro. Matthew Doll bolting up, baby. Bolt up. Let’s go. Uh, Jacob, tonight’s game will be on leak pass only, brothers. We’ll be watching on the Lakers broadcast, but tonight’s game is only available on League Pass. Oh, J Money says Nick Smith Jr. just got ruled out for this game. Nick Smith Jr., what’s he dealing with? He just got ruled out. Well, no revenge game for him then tonight. Yeah. Going up against his former team, the Hornets. Mhm. Why is this game so early today? because it’s in Charlotte on the which is on the east coast. Mhm. I hate early games though. This game is starting at 7 o’clock on the east coast. So, it makes sense. So, that’s why it is. What’s up, Susan? We’re We’re great to see you, man. Let’s have a good one tonight, shall we? Let’s go. Do I Do I think the Heat can beat the Cavaliers today? I’m going to take the Cavs, but could y’all win? Sure. You guys been playing a lot better lately, Eugi. Definitely could be winning that game. Good luck tonight. Cavs. Um, they just beat the Chicago Bulls. When was that? Uh, was that Saturday? That was Saturday. Yeah. Yep. So, they’re looking to go on a little bit of a streak. Mitchell, my goodness, has he been playing really well lately for Cleveland. Oh, I know. Gray Dog has been loving that. Do you get a streak in that game today? Heat and Cavs. It’s be a great one. Crazy dog says meant to say GG’s Josh a few days ago. I haven’t watched uh I’ve watched DeAndre Hunter snatch Giddy’s ankles like 100 thousand like a thousand times. Yeah, that was pretty rough, man. He snatched his soul. He dropped them pretty nasty. Bet me them souls. What’s up, Asia? Lishio Robertson. How you doing? Good evening, Asia. Good to see you. Let’s go. What’s up, team Mark? How you doing? What up, Curtis? Tristan Allen in the house. Shout out to the mod squad, the cult of fear, cult of fear elite. We got the silver gang in here. Alex Alexander Edmonds in the house. What’s up? Who are all out for the Los Angeles Lakers? Well, let’s take a look at the injury report for the Los Angeles Lakers. Let’s refresh this. We just got word that Nick Smith Jr. is out. So is Gabe Vincent. Of course, LeBron James is still out. And Theorio is out. Austin Reeves is in. So Alexander Austin Reeves AR-15 is back for the Charlotte Hornets. Their injury report, no LaMelo Ball, no Brandon Miller, no Grant Williams, no Josh Green, and no Drew Peterson for the Hornets here tonight. So according to social media, it’s just a healthy and active for Nick Smith Jr. tonight. A healthy and active. healthy and active tonight. So, right there you’ll see the injury report um as well as the team stats. Now, not on that injury report right there. It’s not updated, but Nick Smith Jr. has been ruled out, which understandable. You got Austin Ree back tonight, so you don’t really need Nick Smith off the bench, so he’s in healthy and active. What’s up, Bill? What up, George Go? What up, Kerrion? What’s up, y’all? We are five likes away from 100 here tonight. Let’s go. Can you just Josh? People are calling the Bears frauds. First off, I don’t give a [ __ ] what anyone calls the Bears. I I I’ve never cared. And isn’t that what you’re supposed to do? Beat the teams you’re supposed to beat? Yep. I don’t think we’re going to be some like playoff deep playoff team, but doing all right. Doing all right under the first year head coach. It doesn’t matter what the sport is, you play whoever you play on your schedule. Yeah. Like I’m curious. Did people think that the Bears were going to be some superstar team this year and like make a deep playoff run and be a Super Bowl contender to call us frauds now? I I don’t get that. Hey, all that matters is you’re winning those games, baby. What’s up, Christian Wood? What’s up, nomadic? Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for 100 likes already. Thank you guys. George goats is Bulls looking uh look at the Bulls man. We’re cooking. Sucks. We’re going to be without Josh Giddy tonight. No Josh Giddy against Spurs. That sucks. That should still be a really great game tonight, man. Thank you, Riley. Yeah, exactly, Riley. You just got to play who’s on your schedule. Screw the haters. All right, so you guys saw some of the stats. You guys heard about the injury report. Now, let’s get into game time predictions for tonight’s game. Let’s get into game time predictions. And the line just changed. Lakers are now favored by eight and a half points here tonight because well, AR-15 is back. AR-15 is back tonight to play along with Luca Donic and the overunders 231 and a half. So, in the chat, let us know who you have. Do you have the Hornets or do you have the Lakers bouncing back after that loss to the Atlanta Hawks? Hornets are one and4 in their last five games. Lakers are four- one in the last five coming off a loss. Hornets or Lakers of the Jet. Roach, who you got? Give me the Los Angeles Lakers to bounce back tonight. AR-15’s back. Oh yeah, Lakers are back. Yeah, I’m taking the Lakers. This needs to be a get right game. I’m talking about scorched earth against this Hornet squad. I’m talking about co over uh covering this uh eight and a half going over that. I’m talking like 10 points or more. Kind of like what I wanted to see for the Warriors yesterday. That’s what I want to see from the Lakers here today. Okay. Taking the Lakers to win and I want them to win big after that loss to Atlanta. MVP. Who is your MVP for tonight’s game? Give me Luca Ditches, baby. You’re taking Luca. Luka. Luca Magic. Luca Magic. The Don. The Don. The Matador. Yeah. Matador. Forget that nickname either. Luca is the Matador when he’s driving down the paint. Man, you can’t stop him. He’s the Matador, baby. I’m thinking Luca Magic as well. Give me that MVP for Luca. He’s going to play better than he did in Atlanta. Now, what about the X factor? Who’s your X factor for tonight’s win, folks? Well, for me, Josh, it’s going to be DeAndre Aton going against Diabate, going against Cockburner. He’s going to have to play well tonight. Give me the samurai for XFactor. Give me Ruie Hachima. The Huji Mama. Hui Mama. Give me Ruie for XFactor. Give me your Give Roach Aton. I see Aton. I see Gabriel saying AR-15 for MVP. Laavia is gonna be XFactor. Says Kyrion. I like it. Jake the Snake. I bet going with Luca is MVP. So is Tristan Allen and LA 42. I don’t think I saw anyone taking the Hornets. Did I see anyone taking the Hornets? Oh no. No. No Hornets. Okay. Now, what about first bucket? Who scores the first bucket, guys? Give me Conanipple. Kon Canipple, the rookie, the first round pick who’s averaging 16 points a game. Yes. All right. I’m gonna go DeAndre Aiden. I think I’m going to go with Aton scoring the first bucket. Man, he’s been playing good. Now, what about the first three? First splash of the night, Roach, that’s gonna be belonging to Luca. I’m gonna go Cona Nipple knocking. He’s 40% from downtown this year. Give me conimple on a driving kick. Wing three. No, corner three. Corner three. Now, what about the first slam of daba doo? The first dunk of the game. Roach. My X factor Josh. DeAndre Aton. DeAndre. Oh, you know what? It’s going to be a lob from Luca. That’s what I’ll say. I agree on that. Give me DeAndre Aton on the first dunk. And it could very well be the first bucket. Bucket, too. First bucket of the game. Luca lob to Eton on the roll. Boom. Now, what about that over under Roach? 231 and a half. What you thinking? You know what? Call me crazy. Call me maybe. Give me the over. The over. The over. Well, I’m going to take the under of 231 and a half points here tonight. I’ll take the under. I’ll be gladly wrong, though. All right, that’s our game time predictions. Thank you guys so much for giving us yours. Did anyone take the Hornets for tonight’s game? We saw SJ Sports Talk take the Atlanta Hawks against the Lakers. I was like, man, really? And he ended up being right. So, is anyone going to take the upset here today? While we were going over game time predictions, we had a $20 do from Mr. Avatar. Let’s go. And what does he say? says Josh. I know I now have 21 shiny Pokemon in Legend season 2A. Also, I am looking forward to the Avalanche and Ducks game tomorrow. Battle of the Division leaders. Oo, Avalanche and the Ducks. The Ducks lead division. That’s crazy. Avatar. Avatar 21 shiny Pokemon. At this rate, by next weekend, you’re going to have 50, dude. Mhm. Avatar, looking good over there, bro. Thank you so much for the $20 bomb. Love you, Avatar. Let’s go, baby. So, we have Code Made in the chat taking the Hornets. He’s taking the Hornets. Um, also Josh Olman is taking a Hornets by two. He says that the Spectrum Center is spooky. And Goodman says, “Well, based on logic, Hornets don’t do well with the Lakers, so I’mma go Lakers.” Wow. Last game, Hawks were comfortable in um Lakes. I guess against the Lakers, I mean, Lakers absolutely should win this game, but you know, you could be shocked on their own. Let’s see if the Hornets have that shock factor tonight. Yeah, you never know. Sports, thank you so much, man. What’s up, dude? What up? There you go. Taking over of eight and a half rebounds plus assists from Coniple. He’s been hitting that every game. Yes, sir. Taking Luca Don to get a double double tonight. Come on, Luca. You could get us a double double, right? Easy. Taking Jake Laavia’s over on three and a half rebounds tonight. He’s gotten that over his last five games. Boom. Don’t let us down now. Jake the Snake. And we’re taking Ryan Cockrener, the the second round pick, rookie of the Hornets to get at least two blocks tonight. He’s got 19 over the last five games. Over the last five games, Cochrunner’s got 19 blocks. He’s second in the league in blocks. Only to Webyama. He’s only behind Weyama. So that’s easy, man. Four blocks easy for him tonight. Let’s go, ladies and gentlemen. All right, I want to put back up the stats here for you guys to look at. Here is the season averages for both the Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers. Hornets got them beat in points per game, 119 to 117. Hornets got the Lakers beat on rebounds, 47 to 40. The Hornets got the Lakers beat in assists per game, 26.6 to 26.4. So, it’s not much, but it’s it’s about the same, I guess. Steals per game, Lakers got them beat there, 8-6. Blocks per game, Hornets got them beat there, and that’s thanks to guys like Cochr Brener, who’s got 19 over the last five and seven blocks over the last five for uh Diabate. Turnovers per game. They average, they each average about 17 turnovers per game. Field goal percentage, Lakers have the number one field goal percentage in the NBA right now, 51%. Three-point percentage, Hornets 36% per game. Lakers 33% per game. Points in the paint, Lakers got them beat there, 54 to 51. Second chance points, Hornets got them beat there, 16- 15. And in fast break points per game, Hornets 13.3 to Lakers 11.2. If you guys are just tuning in, hit that subscribe, hit that like button of the live stream. Let’s get over 200 likes before tip off. Nick Smith Jr. is out for tonight’s game, as well as Gabe Benson, who is still out, and LeBron of course is still out. For the Charlotte Hornets, they will be without Grant Williams, LaMela Ball, and Brandon Miller. Colin Ston will be back for the Hornets tonight. Bridges who was a gay tide assistant coming into tonight. He’s also active and ready to go. Let’s have a great one tonight, shall we? And if you’re just tuning in, let us know who you guys have winning tonight’s game. Wood 70 likes away now from 200. We should be about eight minutes away from tip off. The game is going to be on league pass for me. Yeah, same here. So you guys want to watch the game. We’ll be on leap pass here tonight. We’ll be watching on the Lakers, which is Spectrum Sports Net. Now, if you are not familiar with the Charlotte Hornets and you’re a Lakers fan and you’re wanting to know who to look out for now that Lamelo Ball’s not playing, Brandon Miller’s not playing. Well, look out for Coniple, their rookie. This dude’s pretty damn good, averaging 16 points and six a game. He’s 40% from the field, 40% from downtown. Look out for Ryan Cochrrener. He’s been a huge player for the Hornets this season. He’s a second round pick for them. He’s averaging, what is he aaging, Roach? Like 11 and seven. 11 and seven. Yes, sir. And he’s got like 19 blocks over the last five games. Again, like I said, he’s second in blocks in the league behind only Victor Wmanyama. He’s pretty good. Miles Bridges is there for the Hornets. You guys know about Bridges. and Colin Ston averaging 16 a game for the Hornets this season. Yeah, Miles Bridges is our leading scorer obviously with LaMelo and Brandon Miller sideline with over 20 points per game. Trey Mann’s averaging double digit points per game as well as Diabate. Diabate off the bench averaging 10 points and seven rebounds per game and he is known to block a player or two here and there as well. So, there are some players to know about the Hornets. Yeah, look out for inside the paint. I mean, 26 blocks combined the last five games between Cockurner and Diaate. Lakers gonna have a hard time getting inside the paint here tonight. We’ll see. We’ll see. Maybe Luca Dodgers can pick him apart. That’s going to be the chess match tonight, Josh. With how often Luca and Austin Reeves could get to the line, it’ll be intriguing to see how they do attack those two guys down low. Mhm. That’s why I’m so glad Austin Reeves is back tonight. It’s a chess match, baby. Why is LaMelo Ball out? He’s dealing with an ankle issue. Lame Lamelo Ball’s dealing with an ankle issue. Brandon Miller, he’s dealing with a shoulder issue. It’s the same two injuries that kept both of those guys out last year. The ankle for LaMelo and the shoulder for Brandon Miller. Avatar says, “Oh, Josh, I just saw that the Nuggets and Kings game is at 9:00 p.m. Oh, rejected it.” Yeah, the Nuggets and Kings game or the coast to coast game tomorrow night. Tomorrow night. I got you. Uh Tristan Allen wants to know which team will have more splashes. Which team will have more splashes? So for those who are newer here, we do a splash counter on top of our screens right here. So we have a Lakers splash counter and a Hornets splash counter. And what’s a splash counter, Roach? So, a splash counter is for every three that is hit by either team tonight. You see that go up. So, a splash counter is every three for tonight’s game. So, how many threes do you think each team is going to make? Who’s going to win the splash battle? Well, the Hornets, let’s see. They average how many threes per game? Let me find them. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets. Hornets average 14 threes a game this season. The Lakers average 10. Oh, so the Hornets average 14 threes a game. Lakers average 10. Who’s winning the splash splash battle and how much? You know what? I’m going to say the Lakers do, Josh. I think they win it 13-1. Who? The Lakers. 13-11. I think the Lakers do win the splash battle. I think they win it 14 to 10. the 10. Let’s see. Lakers. Lakers. Lakes show. Lakers. Nobody’s taking the Hornets to win the splash battle tonight. This is understandable. You would expect the Lakers, even though they’re only averaging 10. Evette says, “Lakers win the splash battle only seven to six.” Seven to six. No double digit splashes. No double digits. If that’s the case, I’ll get the membership. You know what? I will, too. I’ll get the membership. King usually says, “Rotcha, check your Discord when you can.” Okay. Avatar says, “I’m going to go 15 to 12 Lakers in the Splash Battle tonight.” Okay. And we are 60 likes away from 2004 tip up. Let’s go, y’all. Thank y’all. Leg show, Hornets fans, hoop fans, appreciate y’all being here. Over 500 in the almost 600 people in the house. And we are 60 people away from 200 before tip off. We already went over the stats. We went over the injury report. Austin Reeves is in today. Colin Ston is in for today. No LaMel, no Brandon Miller. And we already went over our game time predictions. We’re both taking the Los Angeles Lakers. If you’re just walking through the door, let us know if you’re taking the Lakers or the upset with the Hornets. Lakers are 4- one in the last five games. They had their win streak snapped against Atlanta. They lost that one. They’re coming off that tough loss, looking to bounce back against a Hornets team that’s one and four in their last five and are currently on a twoame losing streak. I see Asia’s taking the Lakers. Dylan’s taking the upset with the Hornets. Mary is taking the Lakers. Cebu Pacific’s taking an L for the Lakers. Yow. Backto back L’s to start this fivegame road trip would be tough. Yeah, that’s right. It’s a fivegame road trip for the Lakers. They’re already 0 and1 on the road trip. They can’t go down 02. This needs to be a bounceback big time game for the Lakers. They’re favored by eight and a half. I want them to win by like 10 to 12 points. Hell, even more even. You know what? I’m gonna say the Hornets cover that. I think it’s gonna be about a five-point game tonight. Five-point game. Yes, sir. So, you’re saying Cona, Nipple, Colin Sex, and Bridges, they get going. Cochr Brener with the defense who’s second in the league in blocks. Second. All right, Roach. He’s saying the Lakers are not going to cover the eight and a half spread. But what about you guys? Because I do. I think they’re going to cover the eight and a half tonight. That’s why I got the over it, baby. I’m taking the upset. The Hornets says obscure reference. Wow. Fabio’s got Lakers by eight. Boriski’s got Lakers by three. Snipers got Lakers by five points. SWAN says, “Do you guys like this parlay? He’s taking the Lakers to win.” Agree there. You’re taking the Portland Trailblazers over the Magic. I like that. You’re taking the Spurs over the Bulls. I think that’s good because the Bulls are without Josh Giddy who’s averaging 219 and N9. almost a triple double for the Chicago Bulls and he’s out tonight. So, I think the Spurs win this one. And you’re taking Green Bay, uh, Philly under 45 and a half. That’s the one I worry about the most. I feel like that game could be high scoring, but the both teams have a pretty good defense. I think it’s a pretty solid parlay. Yes, that could hit. And good luck to you. Good luck. LA42 says, “Lakers by 50.” 50. If the Lakers win by 20 or more, I’ll gift the membership. North. Me, too. What’s up, Connor? How you doing? 637 people in the house. And we are 44 likes away from 200. Let’s see if we can get that before tip off. If you’re having a good time and you’re ready for a good time, then smack that thumbs up, baby. Here’s a starting five for the Lakers. Marcus Smart, Rowey Hachimore, DeAndre Aiden, Austin Reeves, and Luca Donic. AR-15 is back for the Los Angeles Lakers. The starting five for the Charlotte Hornets, Coniple, Miles Bridges, Ryan Cochrrener, J Sean James, and Colin Ston. Ston is back in the lineup for the Charlotte Hornets. Lamela Ball and Brennan Miller remain out. keys of the game. Limit turnovers, three-point shooting, and remember the last game. Don’t let that happen. Like, remember that remember the Alamo? Remember the Alamo. Yo, Big W. What’s up, man? What up? What up? It is going to be intriguing. Three rookies in a sting lineup tonight for the Charlotte Hornets to go along with the veteran Sexton and Bridges. I like that little youth movement here in Charlotte. Yeah. round up. I wish the Warriors would take advantage of that. All right, if you guys are brand new here, what we do, we cancel the game, so we do live playbyplay. We’re going to have you the live scoreboard with the on the floor stats and team stats throughout the entire game. Again, smack that like button. We are 34 likes away from 200. Lakers here on the road in their gold uniforms. Hornets in their teals with the stripes. Smack that like. Hit that sub button. It’s game time, baby. You ready for game time? I’m ready for game time. Are you? I’m ready. I’m ready. Are you ready? Let’s go. Yo, then let’s get ready for some hoops tonight. We’re getting to center court. We’re ready for the jump. We’re ready for the jump. And the winner will be the Hornets. They’ll have the first possession, Roach, and they’ll get it to the front court. shooting on the left side of the screen. Lakers will be shooting on the right side. Lakers have the I mean the Hornets have the ball first. 1146 454. Go ahead. All right. Inside love is no good. Taken away by Austin Reeves. Here comes Ree back the other way. Her driving inside. Love it for That’s exactly what we said. That’s exactly what we said was going to be the first score of the game. A lob to DeAndre Aton. And boom. There you go. Let’s go. As the ball’s knocked there to bounce nicely hit by Marcus Smart. Still Charlotte basketball. Let’s go, Josh. We got first dunk, baby. And bounce here for Charlotte coming up. They were inbounding here for Canippo. The rookie will go inside. Lay it up and in. Caniple. First score for Charlie here tonight. Here comes Marcus Smart. Back the other way. We’re handed off here to DeAndre Aton up top. Aan’s looking for a passing lane. He will bounce it here to Luca Dunit. Luka will go inside. Knock down Ston around. Finds it off in Marcus Smart. He missed the three. A got the rebound stolen away by Sexton. Ston with a steal. Sexton running up the floor down the hill and draws a shooting foul. All right, two shots coming up here for Colin Ston. 1049 left to go here in the first quarter. We got a tie game at two apiece. Colin Ston returning tonight from injury and now has the first two free throws of the game. It’s good to see him back. Is that veteran presence here on the Charlotte squad, Josh? Thank you’all for being here. Oh, let’s see. We have over 700 in the chat. Welcome on in, folks. Don’t be shy. Say hi. Hi, guys. How y’all’s Monday night doing? First free throw is good for Colin Ston. He averages about 16 a game. 16 points a game. Good to see him thriving here in Charlotte, man. Second free throw for Sexton is good. 42 Hornets. Here come the Los Angeles Lakers in their yellow uniforms shooting on the right side of the court. Austin Ree back out there with Luca Donic with Smart Aiden and Hachimura. Luca misses the shot. Charlotte with the rebound. That was Colin Canipple with the rebound. Peniple will hand off here to Miles Bridges. He will have it. Sex it back to Bridges. His floater is good. Floater. Good. Let’s make sure we’re synced up here. 10 19 18 17 16 15. Here’s Austin Reeves snaking around the screen to Smart to Ruy. I’m sorry. Back to Austin Ree left corner. Takes Bridges off the dribble. Gets cut off by cockpiter. Step back jumper good from the baseline. Austin Reeves 46 Lakers down by two with 10 minutes to go at 958 57. Okay. All right. Here’s Khan Canipple for three. That’s no good for the rookie. Luca dodges the rebound. Luca with his first board of the game. He runs the four quickly into the front court. He’s almost stolen. The ball’s going to roll right to Marcus Smart. Back to Luca. Live for Eightton. Another lob for DeAndre Aton to tie the game. That’s four slab of dabadoo for DeAndre Aton. He’s got a lot from Reeves. And now Luca Sting with the miss three. Offensive rebound by Cockburner. F Canipo to the corner. Bridges for three. That’s the first splash of the game. Hornets averaged 14 threes a game. That’s their first one of the night and we got a 6-9 score. Nice. Hornets up three. Here’s the don. Luca goes up try to draw the foul and James got his own rebound. Put back good and one and one for the Matador. Luca Donic. He could tie the game here at the line. Luca Donic working that magic. I was the rookie. Seon James with the foul there inside. Pikachu’s mom says, “I know I I’m going to keep my predictions, but I didn’t know ARS 15 was playing.” Yeah, we said it like I don’t know how dozen times, like 10 times, Luca, where we’re in the free throw and we’re going to tie game at nine. Let’s go. 857 to go here in the first quarter. Here is Sexton with the ball on the right elbow. Hands off the [ __ ] burner. Back to Sexton. Colin will kick it out. Deflected by Hudmore. picked up by Bridges. He’s got it up top with nine to shoot. Bridges the crossover. The bounce pass out to Canipo Khan. The drive, the fadeaway, the score for Khan Canipple. That’s two field goals already for him. Khan Canipple, the rookie has four points already in this first quarter early. Here’s Luca Don working off the screen. Dropping elbow floater good and one for Luca Donic. Luca, another and one for Donic. And that foul is going to come from was that Ston? Yeah. Colin Sex picking up the foul. We got a tie game here at 11. And Luca could take the lead for the Lakers here at the line. Don free throw is up and that is going to rattle in. 1211 Los Angeles with 823 left to go in the first quarter. Lucas got six points. He’s had a double double in every game he’s played in this season. Every game. Caniple drives it out here to Sion James, former teammates at Duke. Back to Canipple to the corner. Bridges. Another three. Another three for Bridges. The second splash for the Hornets. Lakers still looking for their first splash of the night. Well, Josh Lucas got it. Perfect timing right there for Luca Doners. One-point lead here for Los Angeles. Here’s Saxton on the drive. Sexton scores. Oh, we got a back and forth game to start this one. Josh, let’s go, man. What’s up, Isaiah? What up, Isaia? Hit that like button, Isaiah. Yeah. What you doing, boy? Seven and a half remaining here in the first quarter. Lakers down by one. off the screen from Aiden. It’s a drive and floater for AR-15. Welcome back, Austin Reeves. We’re going to get an offensive foul here on Charlotte. Offensive foul. That’s going to go against Ryan Cochrrener, the second round rookie for the Hornets. Gives it right back to the Los Angeles Lakers, who now have a one-point lead, 17-6 with 720 to play here in the first quarter. Luca Donic, man, he is on fire here early. Gets a high screen from DeAndre Aiden. Moves off the left side all the way down the lane. No contest right there. That’s an easy layup. Hornets call a timeout. 1916. Lakers lead it by three. And Luca’s got 11. Dude, Luca Don is a man on a mission here tonight so far. Luca Don, that’s why they call him the Matador. What was Sexton doing? Ston the whole defense just collapsed. They were scared of Luca Donic. He’s got 11 right now. Him and Austin Reeves going at it. Reeves also has four and Aton has four. That’s all your scores for Los Angeles so far. Timeout. Charlotte Hornets. Their first charge timeout of the game. They trail by three right now. The Hornets leading score is Bridges who’s three for three, two for two from downtown with eight points. Sex has got four. Conan nipples got four. But for the Lakers, the leading scoreer for the game is Dodish with 11 points, two rebounds, and one assists. Austin Rezen is return is two for two with four points. DeAndre Aton is also two for two with four points. That’s who all has scored for Lakers. In fact, Luca and Reeves have assisted or scored on every single bucket to start this game. Both of them have a lob to who has the two dunks in this game. Yes. We Yo, we just did twound likes. Oh, thank you guys so much. Especially you. I am a Charlotte Port transplant says uh Lewis T1. Been trying to convert to being a fan but can’t root for this is pathetic. Now there’s a lot of young talent for the Hornets like Cochr Brener. This dude’s amazing. Conan Nipple, love the guy. But the problem with the Hornets is you guys deal with so many injuries. LaMelo Ball, fantastic player, out again. Brennan Miller, phenomenal player, young but always hurt. He’s dealing with a shoulder issue. That’s my biggest beef with the Hornets. Like they just can’t stay healthy and cohesive. And the problem means both LaMelo and Brad Miller are dealing with the same injuries they did last season which kept them out a lot. But they’ll be all right. As long as those two can stay healthy, they’re going to lead the future of Charlotte. Maybe you move on from them. Or at least LaMelo. Oh yeah. If I’m going to move on from one of the two, I’m definitely moving on from LaMelo over Brandon Miller. He’s so good. But he he just proved over and over and over and over again. He just can’t stay healthy. You should talk to Steph. Remember Steph Curry dealt with ankle injuries a lot to begin his career and then he did some voodoo magic to help him heal from there. Yeah, I was going to say uh contact the same uh voodoo mamaju that Steph Curry did and uh get your ankle back on track. Hey, we got a $5 donation from Zachary Butler as we’re coming back from the timeout. What’s up guys? I know I’m late, but I’m glad I could still make it. Dang, work also yesterday was so on. I got to meet Jordan Goodwin from the Suns in real life. You got to meet Jordan Goodwin, dude. How was he? Was he cool to meet or what? That’s what’s up, Zach. And you’re all good, bro. Yeah. You’re out there doing your thing and then you got to meet Jordan Goodwin. Oh, we got a steel. It was Smart who stole it and he threw it right back to Charlie. Back-to-back steals for both teams. And here come the Hornets with Bridges, Cochrren, James, Canipple, and KJ Simpson. Simpson handed off to Bridges. Gets around Luca. The skyak is good. Yo, Bridges can’t be stopped right now. He’s got 10 points. He’s right behind Luca for leading the score. He’s got 10. Luca’s got 11. We got a one-point game. Zack, thanks again for the five, bro. Thank you. Luca step back jump shot. They can’t guard Luca. Luka can do whatever he wants. He can knock down threes. He can get to the rim. Or he could hit those step back midies just like that. Labia gets a steal. Larabia, let’s go. He’ll go down the lane and try shooting foul and KJ Simpson. All right, Jake Laabia will head to the line for two shots. KJ Simpson with his first personal, bro. Great defense so far by Los Angeles. Besides when they’re trying to guard Bridges. It’s pretty good, Roach. It’s pretty good. That’s That’s pretty good. Get it. Yeah. See, take the snake. Laabia first free throw is good. Some more substitutes here. Josh Trey man’s going to enter for Scion James. And Dioate in for [ __ ] Brener. Hey, Diabate. He averages 10 points a game, seven boards, and a block per game. Watch out for this dude. He’s pretty good. A second round pick from 2022. Laas get a nail ball free throws. It’s 2318 Los Angeles. I’m not a mathematician, but I think that’s a five-point lead. One, two. It is a five-point lead. Damn, I’m good. Bridget Larabia almost had a steal. It’s out of bounds. He wants a review, dude. Jake Larabia, he’s in his bag right now defensively. He’s locked in as he has been for the most part this season with the Los Angeles Lakers. This is what you brought him in here for, man. 3 and D. Dalton Connect will check in for Marcus Smart here. So it will be Hachimura, Aton, Donuch, Larabia, and Dalton Connect on the floor for the Lakers. For the Hornets who have the ball, it’s Bridges, Canipple, Diabate, Terrence Man, and KJ Simpson. Here’s the kick out. Simpson three ball. Oh, a corner three. A splash for the Hornets. And they cut the lead to two. 23-21 Lakers lead it. Hornets got three splashes to the Lakers one. Here’s Loravia with a spin move up. Loravia, no good. Rebound, Simpson. Yeah, I thought he was going to have him there with that little fade. Thought maybe they didn’t even call a foul there, Josh. Here’s Diabate inside. The patience, the layin. Oh yeah, way to show some patience for the young guy. He ties the game with 23 apiece. 517 to go here in the first quarter. And here comes Luca Dodic, the matador, working the top of the key. Picked up by KJ S. Step back three. Luca top of the key. No. Balls bound up in the air. Bridges with the secured board and heats it to the front court running the floor. Canipple the three. Caniple the miss and the rebound falls the D and connect. And here come the Lakes show. We’re all tied at 23. Luca dumps inside to Ruie and Hamora scores. 2523 Lakers. Luca with his second assist of the game. He’s all over the score sheet tonight, Josh. Yeah. And good job by Luca right there to knock the ball out of bounds. Who is the biggest disappointed Mavs or Cowboys? Asks Emanuel Flores with a $2 donation. I’m going to say Dallas Mavericks. Yes. Yeah, it’s not even close. It’s the Dallas Mavericks by far. I’ll say Dallas Mavericks. What about you guys? Emanuel, thank you so much for the two, brother. Good to see you, man. Ball’s inbounded. Hornets got the ball with 12 on the shot clock. Sen for three is short. Coniple the offensive rebound. against points here for the Hornets. Here’s a screen by Diabate. Nice crossover for Charlotte. A kick out to Coniple for three. Got it. Coniple a 40% three-point shooter. The Hornets shooting pretty well from downtown. Already four threes here tonight for Charlotte. Here is Aon right down the lane over Diabate. DeAndre Aiden continues to play well for the Lakers as he gives them a one-point lead. He’s got six points on three for three. Just incredible season so far for Mr. Eightton. Here’s a pass to Bridges for three again. Another splash from Bridges. Are you kidding me? The Hornets take the lead 21 29 27. Bridges is three for three from downtown. Sabo with the slam. Ruy down the baseline. Got a feed from Luca. He went to the rim for a two-handed slam. We’re tied at 29. Josh Luca Duchess gets the steal. Giving them cookies. Finds connect to Hajimar. He’s blocked. Oh my god. Wow. And now here comes Shley Trey man for three. Oh my goodness. A transition three after the block is just nasty work. Hornets are up by three. Luca, here’s a pass out. Excuse me. Larabia for three. Oh, that is very short. D Connect picks it up. He misses shorts. He missed the point blade shot. Gets his own rebound. Kicked out to Larabia. He starts to back down. Alab for eight. Comes down. Picks a bounce. Goes up. Blocked by Diabate. My god. Canipo right down the lane. Steal and score for the Hornets. Time out Lakers. Timeout Lakers with 233 left to play in the first quarter. Lakers down by five. That was some big defense turning into offense over the last couple of possessions for the Charlotte Hornets. Look at that block from Diabate to Ruie as he was going for the slam and it led to a three-pointer the other way. Diabodyi two blocks off the bench right now. Yeah, not shocking. He’s got seven blocks over his last five games. What’s up? What up, man? Tonight, this is a splash party, says Tristan Allen. At least for the Hornets. Six of them. They’re 60% from downtown. The Hornets, they’re shooting 76% from the field. 60% from downtown. Miles Bridges has half of those with three of them. Yaoza and the trouser. Lakers are shooting 57% from the field, but the Hornets are getting more opportunities, getting these defensive stops and turning them into transition buckets. You got to love it, man. Charlotte playing hard, playing physical right now, man. This is the way the league’s going, man. They’re It’s a fast-paced league, dude. Hornets are playing it right now. And the Lakers already lost to the Atlanta Hawks the other night on Saturday. They need a bounce back here. Yeah, you can’t start this fivegame road trip or two. That’d be tough, man. Not to the Hawks who were depleted and the Hornets team. That’s only one one game of the last five. Mhm. They’ve only won three games all year. Yeah, they’re three and six uh all together and they’re two and two here at the Spectrum Center. We’re in a commercial break. Time out here. Roach, where we at? We got 1.2,000 people in the house. We are 60 likes away from 300. Just want to say thank you guys so much for tuning in. We appreciate the company. Thanks for hanging out cuz uh we hate to be so lonely. We love making new friends. So, hit that subscribe. We want to see your name pop up here on the screen. As you see down below our next Laker streams, Wednesday, Lakers taking on the defending champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder. And then on Friday, Lakers taking on the Pelicans. Will Zion be back for that game? Who knows? Shoot, they could get both Jordan Pool and Zion back for that game. Luke in the chat says Lakers win by nine. Well, they were favored by eight and a half points. And I thought pregame that they would cover the eight and a half spread. They still could. I I did take the Hornets to lose by five points here tonight. They’re looking great right now, man. All right, come out of this timeout by Los Angeles. Is a great one here by Charlotte to be up by five points. Do you think the Mavs could trade for ball from the Hornets? They don’t need any more injuryrone players. For real. All right, we’re back for the timeout. Lakers have the possession. They’re shooting on the right side of the screen with Luca Don, Vanderbilt, Laavia, Daltton Connect, and Jackson Hayes. King Slug with a $2 donation because there’s no place I’d rather be. We appreciate you, King Slug. Thank you, brother. Vanderbilt kicks out to Jake Laavia. 4 seconds to shoot back to Vando. Nice pump fake. Vanderbilt goes inside and he draws a foul. He draws a foul on the floor here. Yeah. So, it’s going to be an inbound. That’s going to be a Miles Bridges. His first foul of the game. On the floor for the Lakers, it’s Donich, Vanderbilt, Larabia, Dalton Connect, and Jackson Hayes. On the floor for the Hornets, it’s Bridges, Ston, Diabate, Terrence Man, and McNeely. McNeely. Lakers are in the bonus now for the rest of the quarter as Jackson Hayes gets a lob from Luca. The lob, the jam, the jam. Luca Donic with four assists. Hayes with his first buck of the night. We got a three-point game. Let’s go. How y’all loving this game tonight, y’all? McNeely hands it off here. The man, he’s got it against Luca Dunitz. He’s got four to shoot. Passes up to Colin Sexton going down the lane. Blocked by Hayes. And that’s going to be a shot clock violation. Tap your heads, Lake Show. Tap your heads. It’s a turnover. Whose ball? Lake Show ball. Jackson Hayes came in there and said, “I don’t think so.” I don’t think so. Colin, get that out of here. You gotta love how Jackson Hayes is playing this season, man. What’s up, Jackson? How you doing, brother? Jackson. Here is Mr. Reeves back into the game here for Los Angeles. He’s got a switch on Diabate. Hands it off to Lavia who throws it back to Reeves for a contested three. No good. And the rebound’s going to go out of balance off of Diamonte. Still Lakers B. Lakers basketball down by three with 118 on the game clock, 14 on the shot clock. Reeves, Vanderbilt, Laravia, Connect, and Hayes out there. Reeves underneath the bucket. Kicks it out to connect. Hands it off to Jackson Hayes. Hayes, despite a double team, gives it off to Reeves. And Reeves is fouled. That’s a personal foul from Diabate. And now Reeves because they’re in the bonus will head to the line for two shots. Two shots. Two shots. He could cut the lead to one here. Austin Reeves back tonight. First free throw. Good. Zachary Ker the juice says fire everyone. Brown suck. Go Cavs. Damn. Sex clean house, baby. I don’t blame y’all. Second free throw for Austin Reeves is good. We’re We got a one-point game. 3433. Austin Reeves has six points. Thank you again, Zachary, for the two. Thank you. Here’s Colin Ston firing up a three. He got it, man. The Hornets are knocking down splashes. They have seven of them here in the first quarter, shooting over 60% from downtown. And go for it, Arturo. TM up. And we’re gonna have an offensive foul on Jared Vanderville. Offensive foul turnover. It’s Hornets basketball up by four. Levi and Francis, are you guys going to get some fast food tonight after the game? What you getting, fellas? I don’t know what I’m going to get. Um, I’m having spaghetti tonight. That’s disgusting. I might order some Chinese food or something. Oh, that sounds so good. All right, guys. Here’s Charlie up by four and we’re going to get a foul here on Vanderbilt. Jared Vanderbilt. Another foul for him. That’s backto back fouls. Mhm. All right. Oh, they changed it to Daltton Connect, actually. Okay. It’s Da Connect with a foul. That’s going to be his first then. And that was a fab for Los Angeles. Sweet and sour chicken. Yeah, I’m going to have sweet and sour chicken. You bet. You’re going to have some pizza. Nice. Here’s Bridges again. Are you kidding me, bro? Bridges. Another made three. He’s four for four from downtown. He’s got 16 points. He’s a leading scoreer for the game right now. And just to think he was crushed coming to tonight’s game. Lakers down by seven. Reeves to connect. Who answers? Zen connect from downtown. Finally a splash for the Lakers. Trey man shot at the buzzer. No good. Charlotte up 40- 36 after one. 40-36 after one. Leading scoreer for the game is Miles Bridges with 16 points. Luca leads the way for the Lakers with 13. Hornets up by four. They shot 71% from the field. They shot 66% from downtown with eight made threes in that first quarter. Lakers made only two splashes in that first quarter. So that shooting percentage has to come down to earth. It has to come down to earth. You think that’s important? Well, Lakers defense is going to be playing a lot better and purchases are going to go perfect all night here. I’ll leave right here on the screen during the commercial break as we get into the second quarter. Hornets lead at 40 to 36. We’ll leave the stats of the game right here. You’ll see the points, the rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, field goal percentage, three-point percentage, second chance points, points in the paint, fast break points right there, and your scoring leaders. Josh, isn’t it kind of a sight of an upset that right here the stats are in purple and teal, which are the two colors of the Hornets? Oh, yeah. They should have chose yellow for the Lakers. Yeah, exactly. Y to break it up a little bit. I like it though. Shout out to Charlotte. 40 points in the first quarter is ridiculous. Well, you’re looking good on that over, Roach. Dude, I am looking wonderful so far. I took the under for tonight’s game. Roach, I took the over. He’s looking pretty good so far with this shooting percentage. But I do expect there to be less shots here going forward. Maybe the game was slowed down here a little bit. Lakers defense, you guys got cooked by Atlanta. Lakers defense needs to get back on track. If I’m JJ Reic, I’m beating everybody with a wet rubber hose during the commercial break. Talk about BTA. BTA indeed. Well, let’s get ready for this uh second quarter. Hit that like button. We’re 31 people away from 300 likes on the stream. So, 31 people, smack it. We appreciate y’all joining Lake Show. Make some noise and see if y’all can get some defense going, man. Make some noise. [Music] Uh Aaron in the chat says, “Man, Lakers have now given up 40 points two games in a row in the first quarter.” Yikes. Yikes. What is ye? But you know what? How many times, Josh, have we seen the Lakers give up eight threes in the first quarter and settle down the rest of the game? All right, you guys ready for the second quarter? Yes, sir. Then let’s do it. It’s going to be the Lakers bring out the ball on the right side of the court in the yellow jerseys. It’s going to be Vando hand it off to Reeves and we’re going to foul here on the Hornets. We’re going to get a foul for the Charlotte Hornets. going to go against the rookie Liam McNeely who hasn’t had the greatest starts this season or averaging about three points per game. On the floor for the Lakers, we have Smart Reeves, Vanderbilt, Connect, and Hayes. On the floor for the Hornets, we have Cochr Brener, Ston, Canipple, Pat Coneton, and McNeely. Lakers have the possession with 12 on the shot clock. Oscar Ree misses the three, five for the rebound, and Coniples got it. Here comes McNeely up court. the rookie from Yukon. A spin move and up and under. He left it short. Hayes the rebound. Jackson Hayes with his first board of the game. And here come the Lakers looking to capitalize off that miss. Austin Ryu stutterstepping. A lob attempt for Hayes goes arai and it’s rebounded by Pat Coneton. Here come the Hornets the other way. A kick out. McNeely misses the three. That shooting percentage is going to come down to earth. Here come the Lakers down by four. Austin Reeves has got a hero up top. Reeves pulls up for three. Yes, sir. Three on 15. Okay, there you go, Josh. Now it’s a one-point lead for Charlotte. Here’s Kanipple inside. Draws a shooting fell on Vanderville. Gona nipple will earn a trip to the line for two shots. Vanderbilt picking up his second personal. Splash Canippo the rookie at the line shooting two shots. Only 20 years old is Kong Canippo. 20 years old. Mhm. God, I remember being 20 57 years ago. Kippo first free throw is good. See if he can make his second one. If he does, this will be a three-point ball game. Ree is the team leader, not Luca. Luca’s best player, but Ree is the team leader. Well, Luca’s trying to be more of a team leader this season, Aaron. He said so during the offseason that he was going to be more of a vocal leader this year. Kona Nipple knocks down both free throws. So, it’s 4239. Hornets with the lead. 1047 to go. Here come the Lakers with Austin Reeves into the front court. He’s out there with Smart. Vanderbilt Delta Connect. Jackson Hayes. Ston guarding him up up top. Ooh, knocked the ball loose. Goes to the back court. Reeves recovers. Driving the lane. Layup is he fouled by Cochrrener? No. Foul by Sexton. Sexton. That’s a shooting foul. So Reeves will go to the line for two shots. Sexton. Let’s see. Would Sexton get him? Uh, he must had his hand on his back or something cuz he didn’t swipe down. I thought that was on Cockper, honestly. Yes. First free throw is up and good for Austin Reeves. We got a two-point game. Solid night so far for Austin Reeves. Josh, he’s got uh looking for 10 here. He’s uh got 10 points. Looking for 11. Oh, he missed his 11th opportunity. And Conan Nipple secures the rebound. That’s his fifth rebound of the night to go with his four assists and 11 points. Canipple not too shabby here in the first half. The Hornets lead it 42 to 40. They have the ball. Canipple swings it to McNeely driving the paint. Hook shot in and out. He goes, bats the rebound into the hands of Hayes. And here come the Lakers back the other way shooting on the right side of the screen. Hayes to Smart. Reeves the handoff to Vanderbilt. Fumbles it. Recovers to Smart on the left wing. Takes the deep three and he rattles it home from downtown. And just like that, the Lakers take a one-point lead. 43-42. It’s a 10-2 scoring run for the Lakers over the last two minutes. And [ __ ] Brener with the slam. Oh, you damn [ __ ] Brener. [ __ ] Brener. the second round pick for them. He’s got two points. Re the drive inside and one for AR. Austin Reeves AR 15 with a three-point play opportunity. He’s one of the most lethal in the league once he’s attacking downhill and drawing those fouls just like that and getting the and one. That’s the third and one of the game already for Los Angeles. Hey, hit that like button like you’re Austin Reeves knocking down that shot. 17 likes away from 300, baby. 17 people. Smack it. Smack it real good. AR-15 will get the N1 opportunity and the Lakers are up by two. It’s 46 44 933 to go here in the first half. Here’s Mr. Sexton deflected by Marcus Smart. Screamed by Clock Briner. Sexton to Clock Briner. He’ll go up inside and he will draw a shooting foul from Jackson Hayes. That’s two shots coming up for the Hornets. They could take a tie here at the line. What’s up, Jill? How you doing, Jill? Hey, good evening, Jill. Nathaniel Brook says, “Let’s go Lakers in the chat.” Guys are looking good right now to start the second quarter. Got winner. First free throw is up and that is good. One-point ball game. 4546. One more free throw coming up. It’s a 107. No, 105 start to this quarter here for Los Angeles. Pretty good. Second round draft pick here for Cog Brener and he will have both free throws. We’re tied at 46. Here come the Lakers with Marcus Smart, Austin Reeds, Vanderbilt, Dalton Connect, and Jackson Hayes on the floor. Hayes with a hand out from Hatchim. We’ll have it up top at 14 to shoot. He’s looking for a pass lane to connect. Connect will pull up for two and rim it out. Rebound Conington and Conington with the board. NBA champion with the Bucks in 2021. Sexton deep three. Nope. Rebound smarts. Lakers can take the lead here. Austin Reeves into the front court in the deep left side. Hayes with the screen and Reeves kicks across court to the right corner. Driving is Dalton connect step back jumper. It’s short and Conington yet another rebound. That was really good defense by the rookie James. Here’s Conington inside for clocker. He won’t score. Boom. We got a two lead for the Hornets. Do we have any Hornet fans in the chat? 829 left to go here in the second quarter. Lakers down by two. They did have a 10-2 scoring run earlier in this quarter. Reeves finding left corner. Marcus Smart for three, hits the back iron. Rebound will fault up Pat Conington. He’s getting all these defensive rebounds. Good for him in his 10th year. He’s going back to his youth. Here’s Colin Ston. 805 to go here in the first half. They lead it by two. Do the Hornets. Eight to shoot for sex. He’s got Haze on him. Pull up jump shot. Rainbows in. Colin Sexton the 20 foot long two Hornets take the lead by four and Sexton tonight now has nine points in his return from injury. Good to see him back and healthy here for the Hornets. Reeves contested threes off the back guarant another rebound. Lakers went cold over the last few possessions. Yeah, it’s the Hornets really stepping up on defense here, Josh. Shot clock for the Hornets. Here’s Colin Sixon getting a high screen from James. Picked up by Dalton. Connect on the switch. Takes him inside. Floater up. No good. Connect the rebound. That was a nice up and under by Sex. He just couldn’t finish it. Reeves will have a little bit of a bobble here against Sion James, the rookie. Here comes Hayes out up top to set the screen with under 10 to shoot. Marcus M for three. That’s the side rebel. Conington. When was the last time the Lakers made a field goal? Right now they’re cold. Got it. And we’re going to get timeout here by Charlotte. I think the Lakers could use a timeout right now, too. Yes. Take a breather. They’ve gone cold after going on a 10 to2 run against the Hornets. They went cold. It was 7-2 to start this quarter. It is a uh it is a 10-2 run now here for the Hornets. They answer back with a 10 to2 run for themselves. Timeout Charlotte Hornets. JJ Reic put Luca back in. My goodness. Vanderbelt having the roughest game so far this season. I’d say he’s been terrible, man. I’m just looking at the floor right now. Look at the stats on the screen, guys. Marcus Smart one for four. Reeves four for seven. Okay, 13 points. Not bad. Better nothing. And committing fouls. Delta Connect one for four. Hayes one for one. That’s a rough rotation right there. You’re wondering I don’t actually like this timeout by Charlotte Josh. I felt like this helps out the Lakers more than it helps out them. Yeah, I was going to say like Hornets. I mean the Lakers needed this time out more. I felt get Luca back out there with 655. We’ll have to play in the second quarter, but it’s a commercial break. Thank y’all for over 300 likes. I noticed that during the quarter. Thank y’all for over 300 likes on the stream. It’s the easiest way to show some love. We got 1.4K in the chat right now. Thank you all for for being here. Hey, it’s been a great night so far. Back and forth here in the second quarter with the Hornets on top. Her baby, get Luca out and Okay, Edwin, what are you a Hornets fan right now? Yeah, right. Yeah, get that Luka guy out of here. Mhm. The timeout gives the Lakers some rest, too. Yeah, Emanuel. As I was saying, the Lakers, I felt like they needed this timeout more. So, we’ll see if JJ Reic could use it to his advantage to get the Lakers going here, man. DeAndre A was a good acquisition by the Lakers. Robert, it was. It was. And he’s been playing pretty damn well for the Lakers so far this year. I love it. Luca and JJ Reic has this guy locked in right now. They’re Davo, the reason why JJ Reic had Luke on the bench for so long here in the second quarter to start is because Luka played the entire first quarter. Yeah, at some point you got to rest Luca. He should be coming in here any minute and he’s back out there. Here we go. We’re back at the commercial break. Luca, wait, hold on. I thought I thought that was a game play. I did, too. That’s terrible, bro. That’s terrible. I thought Luca was back in. He is. He is. There he is, bro. Like the way they present it, it looked like it was live action. You You got to make sure you’re putting like that little thing. Yeah. So, Luca Dant is back out there. I was about to stop my playbyplay. It is Luca Dantis, Lorraia, Smart, Aiden, and Rui Hachimura on the floor. For the Hornets who have the ball, it’s Bridges, Cochr Brener, James Man, and Simpson. Here’s [ __ ] Briner out top. Hand out to Miles Bridges who had a great first quarter. Cion James kick to the corner for Simpson. Back to James. Step back three. Got it. Another splash for the Hornets. That’s nine splashes for Charlotte. They lead at 5346 with six and a half to go here in the second quarter. What’s up, Casey? Yo, what’s up, Casey? Well, it looks like someone’s going to get a double digit uh splash. Mhm. Larabia misses. Josh rebound James. Lakers have gone ice cold from the field. Sion goes inside up over Aton. No good. Eighton the rebound. DeAndre Aiden his second rebound of the game. Outlet to Luca Donic to the right corner finding Ruy. Pump fake there on KJ Simpson. 60 on the shot clock. Start to back him down into the low post. 12 on the shot clock. Bounce pass. Aiden gets away from out of bounds. Aiden wasn’t ready for that. You gotta pay attention. Lakers all sloppy right now. Josh, what’s up Jed Lockett? How you doing? Hi J. We’re doing good. Happy Monday, bro. Yeah, it’s a new week. Simpson, we’re headed off to cockbrer up top. You’re looking for a pass or maybe a screen here. You’re headed off to Miles Bridges with eight to shoot. Screen. Bridges three. He finally missed one. And here come the Lakers off and running. They got to score here. Down the lane. Kick out. La three. He missed. Lakers are missing everything from the field right now. They did get the offensive rebound. It’s Luca behind the back pass to Hajimmore to the corner. Marcus Smart for three. There you go. Marcus Smart. His second splash of the game. And it didn’t come a moment too soon. 4953 four-point lead for the Hornets. Samson for three. Jaws too strong, but offensive rebound by man. Second chance opportunity here for the Hornets. And Bridges. Oh no, they’re going to say it’s deflected. Deflect out of bounds. So it’s going to stay Hornets basketball. Luca’s arguing the call right now. I thought it was just thrown to the bench. All right, it’s going to be eight seconds to shoot in the inbounds here for Charlotte. Nope, they overturn it to Laker Buff. Laker possession. Yep. On the floor for the Lakers, it is Donic, Vanderbilt, Larabia, Aton, and Ruie Hachimura. They’re down by four with under five minutes left here in the second quarter. And they’ll be shooting on the right side of the screen in their yellow uniforms. Hornets in their teal. Will you inbound the damn ball? They do. We’re waiting for substitutions here. On the floor for the Hornets, it’s going to be Bridges, James Diabate, Terrence Man, and KJ Simpson. What is happening? I think Diabate tried to check it for cog printer and they’re not going to allow it. They figure it out. Let’s go. I know. It’s technically a dead ball, so they should allow it. Victor AR was dealing with a groin injury, but he’s back and looking great tonight. Yeah. So, they’re going to keep [ __ ] Brainer in the game and not allow Dioate to sub. All right, Lakers. We’re bringing up the ball. 450 to go. It’s going to be Luca Duch who’s got it against Scion James up top. Screen by Aton. Now switch on the Bridges. Bannerville tries to set the screen. Luca three. Got it. Luca touch it. Cuts the lead to one. Luca’s got 16. We’re getting an offensive foul on the Hornets. That’s KJ Simpson committing the offensive foul. Laker ball. All right, Johns. Now they could take the lead here. They could take the lead here on this possession. They’re down by one. Luca was kind of like gingerly just Oh, kind of went knee to knee a little bit with KJ Simpson. Yeah, walking a little gingerely there. He’s all right. 429 left to go here in the second quarter and it’s going to be Laker basketball. Larabio set to inbound this from the back court to Luca and Luca will bring it across the timeline. He’s picked up by the rookie Khan Canipple at on the shot clock. Don gets a high screen from Aiden. Canipple staying on him. The screen goes away. Veterville comes to set the screen. Bridges the switch on Donic between the leg dribble the top of the key. Pump fake kick out. Smart back to Luca. Five to shoot. Deep three blocked by Bridges into the hands of KJ Simpson. And here come the Hornets. Here’s Dabate inside. He’s going to draw a foul on the floor. 402 to go here in the first half. It’s still a one-point lead for Charlotte. Is that going to be on Luca? It’s on Labraia. Jake Larabia just picked up his first personal. That was a big block there by Bridges to Luca. My goodness. Four minutes to play, 17 on the shot clock for the Hornets. Here’s Trey Man. He’ll get a screen up top by Diabate. Hand it off to him. He’ll go inside. Lay it up and in. Diabonte averages 10 points a game. And tonight he’s got what, four points. Not bad. He’s on pace for that 10. Here’s Donic backing down, man. Gets a double team. Kicks it out to Vando in the corner. Vando inside handoff at floater. Yes. Woo! Big man soft touch. Eightton having a great game here so far tonight. DeAndre eight points on four for five, three boards. One-point game. Oh, nice pass by man. Finds Bridges. Kick out. Canipo back to man. Step aside. Three ball. Got it. Of course, the Hornets are ridiculous from downtown. 10 made splashes from three. wrote Cheeto puff. That’s 55% for downtown St. Josh. Hey, Luca wanted a fell and he baked it in. Anyways, Luca Dodgers the Matador cannot be stopped. He cannot be denied. It can only be contained and even that’s too much. Oh, they and we have a $5 donation as we have a personal foul here on the floor with 249 to play in the second quarter from Jed Lockett. 552 donut. Bridges has 16 for the Hornets. Conanipple has 116 and five for the Hornets. So, the rookie Conanipple is on a triple double watch for tonight. It’s a close one. It’s a tight game. Hornets are knocking down those threes left and right. They’re shooting at a great percentage. They’re playing some pretty damn good defense. Lakers are shooting at a good percentage, too, from the field over 50%. But the Hornets are getting a little bit more extra possessions out of things. So, it’s a good game right now. It’s a back and forth. Lakers, they lost that last game to the Atlanta Falcons, I mean Hawks, to the Atlanta Hawks. And are looking to bounce back here against Charlotte Hornets. Can’t start this five game road trip 0 and two. Just can’t do it. But if you guys are having a good time, let us know by hitting that thumbs up. We are 48 likes away from 400, dude. Diabate man and Simpson Bridges the left. Dabate the slam. Diabate six points from him tonight. And the Hornets are in the bonus leading by four now. Oh, Lakers got to be careful. Dash 18 head out to Donic. He’s got Diabate on him on the mismatch. There’s 10 to shoot for Luca. Screed by Hajamora. Now Luca is on Trey Man. Here comes a double team by Diabate. Luca is fouled on the floor. Luca do was fighting through the double team right there. Gets a foul from Diabate who just picked up his that is first. I thought that would have been his second. Think it is first. We’re getting a time up from Charlotte. I wonder if this is going to be a challenge. Is that the green light? Yeah, it’s a challenge. Okay, we have a challenge. The call on the floor was a defensive loose ball foul. Personal foul on Diabonte Charlotte. We’re challenging. So, challenge commercial break here, folks. Of course, they don’t show the replay. Hey, Aid with a $10 donation. I just saw that Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton has surgery to remove a cancerous tumor today. He will Mr. Chiefski, but any uh others are in the air. Yeah, I saw that he got I think it was drug tested. Uh Alex Singleton and they found a tumor just like uh Topic from the uh from OKC. He has a testicular cancer. So they removed one today from Alex Singleton and hopefully everything’s all right with that average side. Yeah, that’s tough. That’s scary, man. Very scary. So hey, shout out to him and of course Topage both of them and Avatar. We appreciate you the 10, brother. Thank you for the update there, Avatar. Thank you. All right, so we’re in a challenge here by the Hornets. That’s why we’re having a break right now. The call on the floor was Diabate foul to Luca Donic, which would have been his second personal. Was this even worth challenging? Refs are still talking this over right now. It had to be at this point. You got to know for sure if you’re going to challenge. Here’s the call here, folks. Unsuccessful challenge by the Hornets. Not a good challenge. I didn’t think it was even worth it. Yeah. Did he? Or maybe I guess they thought that he accidentally tripped him. That’s a good call there by the refs. Not a good challenge by the Hornets. And the Lakers will have the ball and they’ll inbound with Luca Donic, Aiden Hachima, Reeves, and Vanderbilt. Reeves attacking Simpson. Putting it up. Trying to shoot. He fell at Simpson. Who else but Reeves? Both teams are in the bonus for the rest of the way. And Austin Reeves will head to the line for two shots. Double boonies. So with that unsuccessful challenge, guys, Charlotte could not challenge for the rest of the game. Thank you so much, John Root, for the sub, bro. Thank you. Reeves. Oh, they’ll rim in the free throw. He almost missed it. 60- 57, right? Yeah, there you go. They finally changed it. Three-point game, guys. We’re at 20 likes and away from 400 already. Thank y’all so much. 215 left to play here in the second quarter. Second free throw is up and good for Austin Reeves. And we got a three-point lead now for the Hornets. And here they come with Bridges, Ston, Kanipple, Diabate, and Terrence Man into the front court shooting on the left side of the screen. Bridges all the way to the rack challenging Aton and draws a foul and he’ll head to the line for two shots. Aiden picking up his first team shots are not afraid to drive inside and get these contacts, man. Usually, you need more cowbell. He’s got a fee of 103. Wait, no, that’s not it. Isn’t that a Saturday Saturday live skit? Saturday live. Yeah. Yes, sir. First free throw is good for Bridges. Marcus Smart will check in for Vanderbilt who hasn’t had that great of a game here today. Miles Bridges, he’s got 17 points tonight. Six for seven from the field, four five from downtown. Project Bould. Thank you, bro. Second free throw is no good. Date got the offensive rebound. Oh, shoot. 5861. Thank you guys. Here’s Canippo with the jump shot. Coniple from 16 feet away. Dude, he’s got what 13 points tonight. Six rebounds and five assists. Five-point deficit for the Lakers. Now 140 to go here in the first half. Here’s Marcus Smart going inside. The left-handed layup is good. Left hand scoop to the hoop for Marcus Smart. And now he’s got six points on the night. Caniple goes inside to kick out the bridges. Back to Khan to the corner for Ter for man. Step back. Three ball. No good. Rebound dunes. Here comes Luca with 18 points. Step back. Three is short and the rebound’s going to go off for the Charlotte Hornets. Out of bounds. All right. 105 to play here in the quarter. 14 on the shot clock for the Lakers with Ruie, Smart, Aton, Donic, and Reeves on the floor. Don with 18 points. Reeves with 15. Eighton with eight. And so is Smart with eight. Miss shot inside. Ham can’t get the tip and a rebound by Charlotte. Oh, you miss it. Point blank. Yaoza. As Mark, you’re smart. Knock the ball out of the bounce the other side. So at the shot clock on the inbound here for the Hornets with 55 on the game clock. What’s up, Cubball? Yo, Cubball, do you guys also watch international basketball? Uh, we watch and we cover the Olympic basketball. Yes, sir. We had a great run a couple years ago when we did that. USA. Oh, man. Those streams blew up. They were so much fun, man. Caniple three is up. Austin Reeves with the rebound. 43 seconds left. Hoochi mama. We’re headed off here to Austin Reeves here. going to cross over against Trey Man. Reeves goes inside and draws a shoot. He fell. Austin Reeves knifing through the defense, drawing the foul. Going to the line for two. Shots. That’s a shooting foul on Trey Man, his first of the game. Says, “Y’all’s reaction to Steph being clutch for Team USA was so great.” That was Oh, and that was one of our most watched streams of all time, too. Yes, sir. Reeves misses the first free throw. That’s the second free throw he’s missed tonight. Reeves second one. He missed both. Josh, how about they got the rebound though? So, here we go. Make up for that. Luke got three. He does. Nothing but the bottom of the net for Luca. That’s it. He’s got 21. Ties the game. You know what? If Luca drops a 50 ball tonight, I’ll get the membership. Okay, me too. Feels like it. Bridges just attacks layup. No good. Himore on the rebound. Three, two, one. Reeves inside. Go. Reeves. Buzzer beater. Buzzer beater. Austin Reeves. Are you kidding me? Lakers head to the locker room up 6563. That’s how you do it, Roach. Dude, what an ending. The bucket on one end and the buzzip on the other end. Wow. Austin Ree and Luca Donic made some magic happen there to close out the second quarter. And going into the locker room, Lakers 65, Hornets 63. Hornets outscored LA 40-36 in that first quarter, but LA answered back in the second, outscoring the Hornets 2923 with Donish leading the way with 21 points. Reeves with 17. Lakes show, make some noise. Hit that thumbs up for your Lakers. You guys are looking pretty damn good. Hornets fans, it’s still a tight game. It’s still a tight game. That shooting percentage went down a little bit from 60% to 56%, but overall a really impressive first half for Charlotte. We’re going to go over the entire halftime box score so that way you guys can know all the stats and numbers and everything like that. But again, thank you all so much for joining us. That was an interesting first half, dude. I mean, this has been a high-scoring game so far. Roach, you’re looking pretty good on the over. Hornets without La Ball, without Brennan Miller getting it done with guys like Miles Bridges, who was redot in that first half. Kanipple, who was on pace for a triple double. Diabate making some big defensive plays in that first half as well as providing some scoring. But man, from downtown, this Hornets team is lights out from three. They were one of the better three-point shooting teams going into tonight’s game, averaging about 14 a night. And they’re h they’re at 10 on pace for 20. 20. Yeah, they’re just very efficient tonight. One of the best shooting nights of the season so far. But you got to like what the Lakers did there. Even with Charlotte shooting so well, Lakers end up with the lead. Okay, so if you guys are ready for the halftime box score, I am as well. Let’s pull up those stats right here. So, as you guys see on the screen, let’s look things over. Roach, if you use your rest, go ahead. All right. So, talking about that shooting percentage, I mean, Lakers shot 52% from the field. That’s great. But the Hornets are shooting 56% from the field. And then from downtown, Lakers 36% from three, but the Hornets shooting 50% from beyond the ark. They are shooting lights out from three, man. turnovers. So far, Lakers have five turnovers. They gave up seven points to the Hornets off those turnovers. Hornets, they have eight turnovers, and they gave up 11 points to the Lakers. So, double digit points to the Lakers off of their turnovers. Rebounding wise, they each have 20 each with 20 rebounds tonight. Hornets do outrebound the Lakers um on average. so far this season, but they each got 20 here tonight so far. Now, let’s look at the box score. And we’ll start things off with the Los Angeles Lakers and their leading scorer, Luca Donuch. In 17 minutes, he’s got 21 points with four assists, three rebounds, and a steal. He’s three for six from downtown, eight for 13 from the field. Luca shooting pretty well tonight. Austin Reeves in his return has 17 points in 14 minutes on five for eight shooting, one for four from downtown. He’s getting to the free throw line as he does. He’s got six free throws out of nine attempts. He also has two assists, one rebound, and one steal. Ruy Hachimura, he’s got four points with two rebounds and an assist. DeAndre Aiden, eight points for him with three rebounds. And Marcus Smart also has eight points with three rebounds, two assists, and a steal and had two threes in that first half. Now, moving on to the bench, let’s see who has scored there. Dalton Connect with three points with five rebounds. You have Jackson Hayes with two points with two rebounds and a block. And Jake Larabia has two points with one steal and one assist. The scoring for the bench for the Lakers over the last few games has not been all that great. And here in this first half, they have a combined seven points off the bench for the Lakers. Now, let’s move down to the Charlotte Hornets and see what they look like in this first half. Their leading scoreer is Miles Bridges. He’s got 17 points with two assists, two boards, a steal, and a block. He’s also four for five from downtown. He’s six for eight from the field altogether shooting 75%. My goodness. And then you have Conanipple, the rookie, 13 points, six boards, five assists, on pace for a triple double on five for eight shooting. That’s 62% from the field, but is one for four from downtown, 25%. Colin Ston in his return tonight from injury, he’s got nine points with three assists on three for seven shooting. Ryan Cochr Brener, the rookie, six points with two rebounds, no blocks. That’s very interesting. He’s second in the league in blocks. He had 19 blocks total in the last five games before tonight. Has none so far. Very interesting. Now, moving on. Oh, Sion James, by the way, has three points for the Hornets in the starting lineup with one rebound. But moving on to the bench, Diabate, six points from him, one rebound, and he’s got two blocks. Six points from Trey Man with five assists and two rebounds. KJ Simpson’s got three points with two assists and two boards. And Pat Conington has no points, but does have four rebounds and a steal. So that is 6 12 uh 15 points off the bench for the Hornets compared to the seven points off the bench for the Lakers in that first half. Looking at the free throws at some more team stats free throw wise, Lakers were 10 for 13 from the free throw line in that first half. Hornets were 7 for8 from the free throw line. assists. Hornets have 18 assists on their 23 made field goals. Lakers have 11 assists. My bad. In fast break points, Lakers only have two fast break points. Hornets have seven. And the points of the paint, Lakers are winning that battle 28- 22. And that’s your halftime box score. I’ll leave this here on the screen so that way you guys can shoot it. You can see all the team stats as well as the leading scores. Yeah, very interesting. The only three missed free throws from Los Angeles have hit by Austin Reefs. Nobody else in this game has missed a free throw outside of AR-15. And yeah, Cockurner having no blocks here at halftime. Good job by LA. They’re not really trying to attack him. They’re trying to bring him out top so he’s not inside the paint. They’re doing a really good job on that. They’re not allowing Diabate. They’re not allowing [ __ ] Burner to go in and play some good defense. So, shout out to LA right there trying to neutralizing that area of the game. LeBron is going to play and the Lakers are start struggling. LeBron James could be back after this fivegame road trip. This is the second of five straight games on the road. Once the Lakers get back after next week uh from the road, there’s a chance LeBron could be back and playing here for Los Angeles, but they don’t really need them right now. They’re seven and two for a reason. Keep it up, Lakers. Yeah, they’re looking good. That was a great second quarter, the bounce back. Offense looked a lot more in a rhythm. Defense looked really good. So, good job there by LA to have this a two-point game at halftime. Uh, when was Seth Kay talking about Seth Curry March for the Warriors? Well, Warriors could sign him as soon as tomorrow. We’ll see if they actually do that or they wait a little bit. If you’re talking about Seth for the Warriors, he could come back as soon as tomorrow, man. And hey guys, we’re up over 400 likes here at halftime. Thank y’all so much. Smack that like, kick that sub button. We appreciate y’all joining here for tonight’s game. Let’s go. late show. You got to love the adjustments you saw. Excuse me. You got to love the adjustments you saw from JJ Reic in that second quarter, especially after that long and harded first quarter where the Hornets put up 40 points, but only 23 in the second quarter. Heater CS are tied. That’s a good game, Eugene. All right, Jacob. Yeah, keep us updated on that game. There’s room for the Lakers to go and Bridges will not maintain 80% on threes. No, you expect there they dropped a little bit. The Hornets, they went from 60% in the first quarter to 56% shooting in the second quarter. You expect to drop probably ran up around 45 to 40% shooting for the entire game. You expect that. You expect that to go lower, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Bridges won’t continue to be hot. He’s got the stroke going here tonight. Expect that guy to have a really good game. But we’ll see. We’ll see the adjustments that they make here in the second half. See the Hornets can pull up an upset here. What’s up, double double? We appreciate you liking the stream, brother. Appreciate it, man. Kate has 21 at halftime, dude. Eugi K Cunningham is having an incredible year. Detroit’s looking to make it seven games in a row tonight against the Wizards. Bro, they’re looking great. These top teams like Detroit, like Los Angeles, like Cleveland, like Denver, man. Really good basketball to watch. Really good basketball to watch. And it’s been a fun game here tonight. Dominating first quarter for the Hornets and a little bit of a dominating second quarter for the Lakers who scored 29 to only 23 for the Hornets. Emanuel’s guys a surprising fact to even me back in 2023 for the World Cup had three host Philippines, Melania, the main one being the main host of the US the favorite international basketball is the best it’s ever been. Emanuel, we saw that when we covered the Olympics last summer, not this summer, but last summer. Was great competition. USA had some tough games, man. The world’s just going to keep getting better and better at basketball. And there might be even a point where maybe somebody could knock off the United States. Maybe the French team can. Serbia looks really good. So, international basketball is maybe the best it’s ever been. No, it’s not. Oh, it is, Joshy. Double did it win a medal. That’s okay. Before you talk about for the Philippines team, that’s all right. Uh, Roacher, looks like MPJ’s got a chip on his shoulder. So, there’s a lot of rumors that MPJ is dating Sophie Cunningham. I saw that. I wondered if it was true or not, but yeah, I saw that. If he is, he’s so lucky. Like they took they took a picture the other day together after the Nets game and that’s the that’s going around the internet that they’re dating. Is that your girl, Roach? That is my girl. What kind of cake? What kind of cake? What kind of birthday cake? Tres. I was about to say, yeah, let’s um What’s going on? Now, I saw some people asking about Monday Night Football. Why are we not doing that? Well, um John’s not here yesterday, not here tonight, and we could have done a a dual stream had he been, but I’m not good enough to stream on on my own right now. I that that game that I did with the Lakers and and Hawks after that after that night, man. Well, after that stream, my voice was my throat was killing me that whole night. So, until I’m like completely good, um me and Roach are going to be streaming these games and the football will always take a backseat to the NBA. To the NBA, especially this season, man, the NBA’s been so good. So, um, we didn’t do away with NFL completely, but we’ll be back with some NFL streams, but uh, we’re going to play it by ear. Absolutely. I’m glad this game has been great here tonight, folks. Been great. You had no what? She doesn’t like T leches. A. So, where’s your favorite cake? Yeah. For birthday. Is it yellow cake? That’s my favorite. Hey, Pier says, “Happy birthday, man.” What’s up, Pierre? Pierre, want to come out here? Are y’all ready for the second half? Dude, let’s go. If the second half is good as the first half, we got a game, bro. Dude, is this game about to come down to the wire? I think it is. To the wire, Roach. The wire. I have one on. I know. It’s what’s keeping everything all together. All right. Well, let’s start the second half, baby. Third quarter underway. It’s Laker basketball and they have the ball with Ruie, Aiden, Smart, Dantic, and Reeves. A Florida to start the second half. Now, that’s how you start a second half. DeAndre Aiden with a little skyhook, baby. 6763 Lakers. Here’s Colin Ston and their chill jerseys now on the right side of the court. Sexton got it stolen away by Marcus Smart. Got some cookies. Off to Reeves. Hand off boy. And they got the milk. Milk and cookies for the Lakers. The steal. The score. 69. Nice. Bridges for three. Of course. Another three from Bridges. He’s five for six from downtown. He’s five for six from three. He’s got 20 points. Right at his season average right now is Bridges. Thank you, Susan. It does. It really does. Here’s off to Donic. Donic screen. Deep three. No good rebound bridges. But what’s worse in this cough is this fatigue that I’ve been feeling. Extreme fatigue. It doesn’t help. And the cough is keeping you up, man. Here’s Bridges with the ball. He attacks again. He spins around. He’s short. Reeves the rebound. Wump. Here come the Lakers with Reeves into the front court. Dumps inside. Aiden the score. Nice. 7166. Great start here for the Lakers to this second half. Here’s Diabate at the free throw line. He will Oh, he’s starting the second half over [ __ ] Burner. side of James a couple puff fake draws a shooting foul on Luca. So that’s going to be two shots coming up for the Hornets. Luca Donuch picking up the foul right there. I believe that’s going to be his second foul on the night. Zachary Butler. Oh, that’s going to be his first. Okay. Zachary with the $2 nation. What about Sheen? You mean Sean? Sean not out uh not streaming tonight. It’s not streaming yesterday and he’s gonna be going on vacation, too. So, hey, thank you for the juice, Zachary. Thank you, Zach. Deion James missed the second free throw. Eight grabs the rebound. 7167 Lakers with a four-point lead. And here comes Ruie crossing the timeline. Hand off goes Marcus Smart left wing. Go ahead, Roach. Okay, Hajim Moore. Back out to Smart. Back inside for Hajim Moore. He’s double team inside. Kick out. Reeves team three is too strong. Bridges with the rebound. 940 to go in the third quarter. It’s a four-point lead here for Los Angeles. Canipo finds Saxton. Saxane down the lane. Offensive charge. Whose ball? Lakers ball. And we have a $5 donation from Devin Agnes. John Cena versus Dirty Dom for the IC title in the main event in Cena’s hometown tonight. Oh, I like that. That’s a good match. Okay. Dirty. Dirty dumb. Dirty dumb dirty. Hey, Cena can win the IC title first time ever. He’s never won it. How about that? He’s never won it, Josh. Uh-uh. Luca, turn around, Jeff. Oh, Luca with the baseline fade away. 7367 Lakers with a six-point lead and Don has 23. Man, let’s go. Luca Canipo seven versus 77 right there to the sexton over. Nope. Austin Reeves the rebound. Long rebound into the front court. Here they go. Oh, nice crossover. Reeves for three. No. Diabate the rebound. Imagine if you would have made that though. I would have been a nut or nut and oh Reeves is going to get a reach in foul caught on him with with a 37 left to go here the third quarter. Do they still do that top 10 stuff on ESPN? I believe the Sports Center top 10. Yeah, it just doesn’t go as viral as it used to. Man, I don’t watch Sports Center anymore. Same. Used to used to hit back in the day, man. Mhm. I’d come home from school and that’s all I had to watch at Sports Center. Canipo call is on the ground. We’re getting a jump ball between Kong Canippo and Ruy Hatchamor. All right, Roach, get ready for a jump ball. Oh, Josh, I beat you in a jump ball, dude. I want to take you to the NFL combine and test your vertical. Oh god, dude. I want to test your vert vertical. See what it’s like. I’m I’mma have like a 5 inch vertical. Thank you, Devin, again for the five. Thank you. What happened to Hollywood? Says the internet ruined everything. The internet killed television. All right, we have jump ball here at center court between Ruie, the samurai Hachimura, and Kanipple, the rookie. And winning it is going to be the Lakers. Canipo won it, but we’re right to Marcus Smart who finds a driving up and no good. Smart with the offensive rebound. Second chance to Hajor for three. Ruy from up top, baby. The splash. Time out, Charlotte Hornets. They want to talk things over. Timeout, Hornets. Lakers outscoring the Hornets in the third quarter, 11-4. And they take a nine-point lead with 813 left in the third quarter. Lucas got 23 points. Austin Reeds with 17, Aton with 12, and now Ruiz at nine points. Smart’s got eight points, dude. Marcus Smart, he’s been scoring very efficiently lately over the last five games. Yeah, like you when you sign Marcus Smart, you sign it for his defense. When you’re getting offense a production from Marcus Smart like this, it’s even better. Love it. I feel like that buzzer beater by Austin Reeves really gave this team some momentum, Josh. And right before that buzzer beater, it was Luca Don knocking down that three. That’s right. Yep. Hey, Lake Show, make some noise in the chat. Over,300 in the building. We are 50 likes away from 500. 50 away. Bing bing. Don’t be shy. Hit that sub. I want to see that name pop up right here in between me and Roach because we got more Lakers streams coming down. We got uh on Wednesday, Lakers taking on the Thunder on Wednesday night. We’ll be live 30 minutes before the tip off on Friday. The Lakers take on the Pelicans. Zion maybe comes back for that game. So, Lakers and Thunder on Wednesday. Lakers and Pelicans on Friday. And remember that game on Friday is an NBA Cup game. NBA Cup. Let’s go, man. Frank T says, “I need Ruie to step up.” Well, knocking down that three certainly helps. He’s four for seven now from the field. one for one from downtown with nine points, three rebounds, and assists. Getting traded from Washington here to Los Angeles was the best thing for Hajima, man. With a samurai. Oh, yeah. Reeves is one for six on three since Davo Devil. Yeah. Austin Reeves is one for six from downtown. He’s five for 10 overall from the field. So, four of those field goal attempts came inside the ark. Yep. Six of them came from beyond. So he’s four for four inside the three-point line. So really efficient right there. So do that four. Why not get inside? What’s up, tragic guy? What up, bro? I’m hanging in there, brother. How you doing? Hey, I’m gonna go take care of Josh later tonight. No, he’s not. Oh, well that’s not a good battle to win the IC title. light work. I think he is going to win. Like he’s never won the IC belt before. Okay, I think he is then. He’ll be a Grand Slam champion then. All right, we’re back from the timeout. It’s Hornets basketball with Bridges, Sexton, James, Canipple, and Diabate on the floor with 13 on the shot clock. Canipo kick out Bridges. He missed the three. Rebound 18. He missed the three. His second only miss from beyond the ark tonight. He’s five for seven now. Why couldn’t he be six for seven? Smart side. Luca double team. Puff fake. Puff fake. Fade away. High arc shot. No good. Eight in the rebound. Offensive rebound. Luca three. Rimmed it out. Bridges got the rebound and pushing out court for sex. He’s driving. The coochie. Wait, what? We got a foul here by Los Angeles, Josh. Yeah. On the other side, we have a Luca Donic personal foul on the floor. Luca just picked up his third. Oh, yeah. Third. You’re right. Yeah, third. KJ Simpson checking in for Colin Ston after that foul. 655 left to go in the third quarter. Hornets shooting on the right side of the screen with 14 on the shot clock. They’ll inbound here from the right sideline with James. And he’s out there with Bridges, Canippo, Diabate, and Simpson. Yeah, it was also Lavier checking in here for AR-15 Bridges. Five to shoot. Finds it to James. Sion gets it in the corner. Canipple three. Got it. Oh, beat the shot clock. Why don’t you con Caniple? 12 splashes for the Hornets tonight. That cuts the lead to three. I mean nine, I’m sorry. Yeah. 7970. Canipple 16 points, six rebounds, six assists for him. Rookie of the year candidate for sure, Josh. There’s a lot of rookies playing good. Very a lot, including Will Richard. Lucas step back three. Nothing but the bottom of the net for Luca. Magic. He’s got 26 points tonight. His fourth made three. Bridges misses the three. Fight for the rebound and Dach has it. All right, Luca. His fourth board of the night. Dude, Bridges has made he’s missed a couple threes now. And Hunter Boy has got another one. Oh my goodness. It’s raining threes for LA. Ruy, another splash. Did he make all three splashes in this quarter? He Yes, he did. 8570 Lakers with a 15-point lead and Sion James just turned it over with an offensive foul. Terrible start to this half for the Hornets to be not scored 20-7. Bro, we need a Ruy emote. We need like a Ruy like samurai emote. Something like that. That’d be dope, bro. Thank y’all for being in here. 1.5,000 people in the house and we’re 43 likes away from 500. Yes, sir. Alpha with a $2 donation. Josh, may the best man win this week in fantasy. Square up. Square up, Alpha. I’m taking you down, bro. Here’s a foul underneath on Charlotte. Um, okay. So, Charlotte committing the foul right there with 11 on the shot clock for the Los Angeles Lakers, though. Inbound here from the left sideline. That foul was committed by Bridges. Alpha, thank you for the two, but you’re going down this week, brother. You’re going down this week. Downtown Julie Brown down. We’re gonna go downtown. I I don’t know how the rest of that song goes. Here’s Dodgers on the inbounds. Oh my god. He tried to pull up from South Carolina here. Hand it off here to Haj Moore. Pulls up jump shot. He won’t miss. Ruy won’t miss. The dude just don’t miss right now. Okay. Ball got away. Ball got away. Someone said he needed to step up. Well, now he’s got 17. Ruy’s got 17. He’s got more four made field goals in this quarter alone. Three of them from beyond the ark. So that’s 11 points in this quarter for Ruie. Here’s man from the corner. He missed and a re a loose ball foul against DeAndre Aton. And he’s like, “What? Who do me then? Who you? You took the cookie for the cookie jar. Uh oh, Jack’s here. Oh, everybody hide your uh credit cards. What’s up, Salt Man? Hachi Mama Mama. Check Discord. I found a Hatch Aachi Samurai says Eugi. Oh. Oh, send it my way. I don’t see it yet. Balls bound from the Charlotte Hornets on the left sideline. On the floor, Bridges, Canipple, Diabate, Terrence Man, and KJ Simpson. Tabati almost lost it. Got it to man and it went right through the hands of Bridges out of bounds. The Hornets are collapsing here. By the way, the Hornets are in the bonus for the rest of the quarter. Attack. The Lakers are outscoring the Hornets 22-7 in the third quarter. Ouch. 22 to7. This is kind of how maybe a lot of people thought this game would go now, including me. Okay, you had them covering the spread tonight. Eight and a half. Eight and a half. Smart three. No good. Rebound up in the air and it’s going to be taken by Marcus Smart. Second chance to set for 18. Stolen by Coniple. Caniple with the steal. And here come the Hornets off and running or buzzing up the court. Have you ever been stung by a hornet? I’ve actually never been stung by anything in my life. Simpson. Nice turn around, Jay. Okay, nice little mitti fadeaway. Nice. That was cute. 8772. Because fire ants don’t sting, they bite, right? They sting. Oh, then I have been stung by them. Luca with the slam. Luca to the rack. Doublehead and slam a neoo looking like me out there. And Josh, they got the steal for the Lakers. Oh, they tried to go with the lob. Things went arry. And here come the Lakers. A play from deep. Not this time. Can with the rebound. What’s up, James Green? What up, bro? Oh, baby. We got a blowout on our hands. Bridges. He’s gone cold. His skyhook miss, but he follows his own shot in. Bridges now with 22 points. 15-point game. 15-point game. 309 to go here in the third quarter. Oh, Cena do it. Cena won. Cena won. Hey. Oh my. He got it. Congrats. He’s a grand slam champion. Okay. So, whoever beat Loravia, he’s got one second to shoot. His shot is short. Date the rebound. Jake Lambia not having a good night tonight. 0 for five from the field. No rebounds. So, that means me and you have the same amount of shot as Sam. And we’re going to get a timeout here by Charlotte. Hordance call a timeout with 238 remaining in the third quarter. If they’re not careful, Lakers are just really, really, really going to pull away from them as they have been doing in this third quarter, outscoring the Hornets 24 to 11, 89 74, 15-point lead for the Lakers. That field goal percentage now down at 52% from 60 for Charlotte. 1989 M says, “How are you guys not streaming Monday Night Football?” You’re seeing it. Yep. You’re you’re witnessing it right now. That’s how we’re we’re doing this game. We’re we’re doing this game. It’s been great. It’s been a lot of fun here tonight. But um yeah, we’re not doing uh Monday Night Football here tonight. We’re focusing here on basketball. If I was feeling better, I probably would have just did this game by myself and had Roacha string Monday Night Football. But I just I just can’t do it right now, man. I’m just not feeling good. I can’t do it. I tried to do go live by myself uh on Saturday and that really messed me up for the rest of the night. Like I was in a lot of pain that that whole night. So um just can’t do it right now. If if I was feeling better then Roach would be live for for my night football right now. But that’s just not the case bro. There’ll be more football streams coming up but uh just not right now. Just not right now. Lakers Carolina says Lakers keep pursing the f on the gas and drive to win this game. Incredible third quarter from Luca from Hajamora. He’s got 11 in this quarter alone. And right when he said that, lo and behold, Ruie Hachimura steps it up and goes nuclear here in the third quarter. He’s now seven for 10 from the field, shooting 70%. Is three for three, perfect from beyond the ark, has 17 points, four boards, and assist. He’s got 17. Lucas’s got 28. Eightton’s got 12. Austin Reeves, he’s got 17 as well. That was interesting. Diabate started the second half over Ryan. Remember the Hornets are in the bonus here. They have the ball. Bridges kick out Ston a drive against Hajima around Hayes. No, it’s gonna be an offensive foul on Charlotte. Offensive foul on Ryan [ __ ] Brener. He hooked Jackson Hayes on the baseline. That is an offensive foul. Laker ball. Josh, this quarter can’t go any worse for Charlotte. They really collapse here and the Lakers capitalized. Now the Lakers have the possession with Hachamura, Donic, Vanderbilt, Larravia, and Jackson Hayes. Jackson, it is Luca. Two to go here in the third quarter. Up by 15. Luca gets away from Sion James. Luca pump fake spins and Luca traveled. Oh, back your suitcase roach. We’re going back to the right side of the court. It’s hornet ball. Buzz buzz. Buzz. Buzz Light to the rescue. Who was your favorite Toy Story toy? Woody. Woody. I was Woody. By you. As Bridges would go inside and score the [ __ ] burner. Bridges has 24 points now. We got a 15-point lead for the Lakers. And on the floor for the Lakers, it’s Hayes, Larabia, Vanderbilt, Reeves, and Donic. I like the pig. The pig was hilarious. Oh, Ham. Ham was a great character. Here’s Reeves with the jump shot. The little midi from Austin Reeves Roach. He’s five for five inside the arc tonight. Hasn’t missed from inside. And here’s a shoot. A foul on the Lakers. That’s going to go against Jack. Is that Jackson Hayes? No, it was Jake Laabio with the personal foul. Hornets are in the bonus. So Ston will be shooting two shots. What about you guys? What was y’all’s favorite Toy Story toy? I bet says hers was Mr. Potato Head. I like Mr. Potato Head. He’s hilarious. He’s great. Uh Trist says wordy as the first free throw is good here by Sexton. A lot of wordies. Chess is slinky. The next Lakers streak will be on Wednesday as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lakers Thunder on Wednesday. That will be a first of a backto back for the Thunder. They’ll be playing on two on Tuesday. No, that’ll be the second game of a backtoback for the Thunder, right? Uh yeah. Yeah, because they face us tomorrow. Yeah. Thunder play the Warriors tomorrow and then the Thunder will be on a second of a backtoback when they play the Lakers on Wednesday. Can the Lakers capitalize on that? Yeah, we’ll see the rest of the players that night. Hopefully not. So, we’ll see. Goodman says yes. Goodman, you’re going to lose tomorrow and win on Wednesday. Hey, Steph Curry’s back tomorrow, baby. I think the Thunder might cook you. You might be right. They’re going to cook the Warriors. I hope not. We’ll see. We’ll how it plays out. But you guys got to step it up. Playing better than you guys have. Oh, absolutely, bro. Even that last game. It’s rough. They got better. Absolutely. It was a bad pass for Charlotte and they’re going to foul Marcus Smart with three seconds to go. Two shots coming up for Marcus Smart. And there’s a lot of Laker fans here still in Charlotte in the arena. I see those yellow jerseys around the arena. Yo, Lake Show, make some noise in the chat. Great bounceback win here tonight for y’all. Lakers, smack that like, hit that sub button. Appreciate y’all joining here tonight. Yeah, she ain’t usually. Yeah, we’ll do a gifted membership for Warriors and and Heat this weekend. Sure. First free throw is good. One more. Uno man’s coming up. Yeah, Hornets should put in Michael Jordan. Maybe they’ll come back. I could. Second free throw is good. 3 seconds to go. Here’s Bridges to the front court. McNeely three. No good. This game is Over Lakers with the bounceback win. Lakers with the bounceback win, defeating the Hornets 121 to 111. That’s a 10point win. They did cover the spread. They did. Yep. All right, Lakers fans, make some noise in the chat. Drop that emote. Type Lakers and let me know who was the MVP for tonight’s game. Who was the MVP of tonight’s game? I think it’s pretty simple for me. It’s Luca Donuch who shot 55% from the field, 44% from downtown, 26 points, five assists, four rebounds. Easily Luca Don’s MVP tonight. MVP for Luca Donic. Okay. Now, what about the X factor? Who are you giving the X factor to? Are you giving it to Austin Reeds, who has 17 points tonight? Are you gonna give it to Rui Hachimura who exploded? Hold on. Let me let me update this. This is not updated. Hold on. That threw me off. Luca Donic had 38 points. I’m sorry. 38 points tonight. Seven assists and six rebounds. Ruy had 21 points. Austin Ree had 24. DeAndre Aiden had 14. Marcus had 13. So, who are you giving the extra the X factor to? I’m gonna get it to Rui Huchi Mama. He had an incredible second half, man. He blew up in that third quarter. That’s where the Lakers really won this game. In that third quarter, they blew out Charlotte 31-5 to get back into the game. And that was pretty much led by Ruie just onslaught against the Hornets. He had 11 points in that third quarter. Josh and literally the entire chat are going Ry. A couple people are going to go Austin Reese’s X Factor cuz he’s everybody just a hoochie mama. Hoochie. A little hoochie. I like a little hoochie. A Gucci. So if you guys want another stream, Roacha, drop that link in the chat.
