We clowned on Cole Smith when he got here but damn we look more solid (not good) with him
This team needs more Cole Smiths and a whole lot less Skjei and Stamkos’s.

Jeez, Hinote was right when he called him an “82 game player.”
Inversely, the power play went from 12.5% to 29.4% while Smith has been out.
It’s not correlated at all but still fun to note.
I never hated on him per se, I just hated John Fucking Hynes playing him in the top 6 of the lineup.

No excuses. Next man up. If one player, no matter who it is, being out means you can’t win, then you have MUCH bigger issues than missing one player.
Good teams find ways to win. Bad teams find ways to lose (then you get excuses like player X is on IR we really need him)
