I hope this chapter closes and I get to follow the Cooper Flagg Mavs develop with D Live at the young core and Kyrie plus the inevitable DP as senior leadership. I love AD, but I hope the new management pumps his value and finds an appropriate fit for him to contend at a reduced role, more appropriate for his injury history. OKC is so full of assets to the level this could be a win-win (Luka will still find ways to win against them). As for the ownership. I always say “sell the team”, but in reality it’s Marc that let us down. Dirk won that chip despite him, not because of him. He’s the one that let us down, new ownership just walked into a trap Marc helped prepare. Still do your best to keep gambling at bay in Texas. It’s just generally bad. If all it took was this kid to sit next to him and say a few things for them to fire Nico, that’s even more of a reason for fans to demand that the team be sold. I don’t see how them firing Nico changes fan perception at all. It just changes the in game chants to “Sell The Team”.
