I get worried how we play complete ball all game and then we do this iso shit at the end of games.
✅ Get a nice first half lead
✅ Blow the lead in the 3rd quarter
✅ Make the comeback in the 4th
Just another day in the office
This team would be truly scary if they didn’t shit their shorts every 3rd quarter and have to battle back in the 4th.
Need McCain to find his rhythm, PG to come back, and Jo to hopefully be alright
7-4 despite the injuries, ridiculous scheduling with the back to backs, and dealing with a complete moron as a head coach.
Ill take it.
We are a good team with good players, can we get some smiles in the chat 🙂
I just hope McCain can find something. Nurse gotta find a game to give him minutes to figured some stuff out. We will need his shooting and playmaking at some point
Despite ref ball in the end, Philly found a way to win. It was too egregious in this game.
Maxey has quietly become the point guard we want with those assists numbers.
Welcome back Justin Edwards!
Great team win, fuck the refs and FUCK THE CELTICS! DEPLOY THE SONG!
Great defense by VJ down the stretch. That block was great.
Justin Edwards was incredible
I’m not worried about VJ one bit. League adjusted to him and he’s adjusting back. Deep breaths all.

I’m glad we won but man what the fuck does this team do during halftime?! Why are we ass during third quarters every single game?! 😭
mccain will be fine
he already looked quicker
it will just take time
Drummond and Oubre have been so important to this teams success, been pretty solid and doing what needs to be done.
Really looking forward to when Barlow comes back and when PG and Biid are both healthy. If PG can at least draw away some defensive attention that’ll help Maxey in these moments down the strength and with him and Barlow we can have some more length in these closing lineups.
I’ve seen enough to know that this team is going to be competitive this year no matter what.
It may be ugly. It may be pretty. It may take time
But this team has proven that they WANT to play hard despite them missing key players on the roster.
This team is now 7-4 but they are capable of playing up to other good teams.
This is the theme of this year’s Sixers.
They will do whatever it takes to win and they won’t quit.
Beating the Celtics on national tv cuase *checks notes* Justin Edwards had 22 pts with 5 3pts

Defense was strong tonight
Justin Edward’s was great tonight. Best game by far this season.
VJ only scored 6 but the guy does all of the little things and plays great defense for a rookie. He is winning basketball player.
Maxey needs to be in MVP discussion.
Outplayed them in three quarters but we are so righteously bad in Q3 that it’s a nailbiter lmao
Edwards and Drummond came up huge!
Maxey didn’t play 40 tonight!
Philadelphia teams can’t do a damn thing the easy way lmao
Good game except the 3rd quarter if you fix that we are a great team
good defense. great by edgecombe down the stretch. i just think nurse needs to give McCain a bit more time instead of these sparse to really get his groove.
We need to fix this 3 qt problem. Nick nurse try something I don’t know maybe start with the bench but you need to do something about it.
HELL YEAH! FUCK BOSTON!!
Go cry a river, Silver. JE with a statement!
Drummond is an unsung hero so far in this season. His rebounding is a major improvement. Also somehow hitting 3 pointers.
Getting a win in a pretty bad game from Maxey and no Embiid/George.
Need to solve this 3rd quarter issue and soon.
Maybe we could start referring to the 3rd Quarter by another name. I think “3rd Quarter” has a bit of a stink on it.
Always nice to beat the Celtics
W without Joel and sub 40 min from Maxey!
Are we the worst 3rd quarter team in history?
I’m glad we won but hooooly shit the fact the Maxey foul wasn’t overturned is insane. How is Maxey not beating him to the spot when it’s his torso vs Brown’s extended arm?
Let’s goooo
It’s always great to beat the Celtics!!!!
these third quarters are going to kill me lmao
but won’t ever complain about a win against the celtics, fuck boston!
I’m also not down on VJ AT ALL like some may be. He needs more gravity taken away from him. Right now he’s being treated as the second best player on the court. He’s not ready for that yet but even then you saw he is still finding ways to contribute. His success for this year is going to be dependent on Embiid and George playing. Which at this moment feels impossible.
Maybe an incorrect observation but I feel like part of the reason they do so badly in the 3rd is they are expecting calls and never get them.
Damn, Edwards saved us!!! LFG!!!
Edgecombe getting that shooter’s bounce was vital to the outcome. He was so pumped for that!
kels always comes up clutch against the kkk. he clutched it 1st game of the season too
I’m so glad to see Justin have a good game. I was worried his minutes would be taken by Watford and Walker. He said not so fast!
Jared just doesn’t have a clear role on offense right now. Gotta set the expectation for him on what he has to do. We really need a change of pace point guard and that should be him, the table setter who gets open because he dimes people up.
VJ struggling offensively but still has the BALLS to shoot that shot. And again, I feel like no one has been singing his praises but he’s been a really good defender since game 1. Only a few rookie mistakes but still really fucking good.
McCain needs to lock in. Doesn’t seem confident in his shot
No embiid or PG. Off Maxey game (still 21-5-9…) VJ 2/11 from the field (a clutch 3 though.) McCain still not really back.
Still won. You’ve gotta feel good about it.
Drummond is the backup we hoped he’d be last year. 14-13 is very solid.
Oubre continues to be obscenely valuable to this team. Gotta be one of the best hustle players in the league this year, and he’s shooting 38% on 6 attempts per game. Wins the game with that putback.
I really hope this is the game that Edwards gets his groove back. 5/6 from deep is absurd.
Feels good to finally be the team that has a “random” light them up. It’s great to have some depth. Let’s just hope VJ and Maxey get their shot back for the Pistons game on Friday.
