NHL Highlights | Ducks vs. Avalanche – November 11, 2025
The only thing slow about tonight is the opening draw. Once the puck goes down, we’ll be off. Guess what? We’re underway. Sit back and enjoy this one from the Mile High City. Nathan McKinnon leading the NHL in scoring. Our Tur Leadin pumps it deeper in the Anaheim zone. And Chris Crider will get to it. Fired in the off season from the New York Rangers. Kale Mar with a shot turned out by Lucas Gostal. A centering pass by Mar. It’s McKinnon. Now Leaden. He scores. Arturi Lechin. 28 seconds in. Colorado up and running. [Applause] This little play from down low. It’s the shot then the recovery. Then they stretch him out. Edzo. They go corner to corner and just popped out front. It’s going to be a long night for Anaheim if they don’t watch those guys and allow them to skate like that. Colorado, good job getting them all spread out initially. 28 seconds in, guys. 28. Victor Olivesson will send it in. McKinnon now points in 10 straight. The NHL’s first star from this past week. A shot from the point out of the corner. Ross Johnston 44 in the white sweater tried to pry it out for Anaheim. And Olen Zelwiger will get it out to center. On goal, Scott Wedgewood has won nine games this season in goal. He’s handled the bulk of it. He leads the NHL in terms of wins. They’ll stall to the outside. You came, he had a blowout in his own zone there. Took him just Taves with a shot. It sizzles off the glass. Awesome. I do recall you skating backwards. Now McKinnon, we’ll leave it at that. Nate is holding on to it. He’ll dance. A shot goes on the target. Kicked along by Dostall. Lacking it in front of the net. Got that puck free. Handled by Dostall to the outside for Jackson. Lome skipped over his stick. Malinsky gets a little help. Olivson in front. Oh, Parker. Kelly with a great look. Well, from our AT&T connected cam, bouncing puck and Parker Kelly with a great opportunity as Helison is right out in front. Couldn’t tell. Johnny, you made the right call. I thought it maybe went up the Dman stick, but clearly down low out front like that getting out and challenging to make that hard. Go stall equal to the challenge again. S Kelly again. Malinski two a chances in a matter of maybe 5 seconds of actual hockey playing time. Here he goes again. Parker Kelly a power move. It’s turned out by Dostall. Take three in about 20. We’re counting. McKinnon caught by Dostall. Burns. Shot taken. Turned aside by Wedgewood from Cutter Goceier. Lome straight away. Here’s Goier with a shot blocked by Kelly Wiger. He’ll take it back. He’s hounded by Lechinan. One-time from the point. Trouba denied by Wedgewood and it’s floated out of the zone by Parker Kelly. Zelwicker as Anaheim is changing up front through center. Frank Petrono pulls up along the wall. Sends it in. Ryan Paling wrapped up by Colorado’s Marty Nes. Ellison Mcome turned out by Wedgewood. That’s the wrinkle with a good screen in front of the net. That was a good stop by Wedgewood. Now it’s turned over. Nes a shot. Go stall a piece of it. Stand down out of the corner. Recovered by Colton. Mar through traffic. Fought off again. Mar with a shot blocked available. A shot goes stone. Came across on Olson and its out to center. I don’t know if that puck was on edge or not, but that’s a heck of a play by Bell. Just the pass that time from Brock Nelson. Taves holding on to it. McKinnon cross ice. Aless shot by Nelson denied. Lick it in. Oh, to stop down and out. These guys are snapping it around Ed. So, coast to coast, east to west, reset. Look at these passes by McKinnon. Just laser beams right across. And this puck was rolling on lean in here the last one. So, he really wasn’t able to get a lot on it. And a good one-time there. They’ve been using that seam play to be able to Jack Coyle and Miles Wood went to the Blue Jackets in the off season for a young prospect. Right on. That was Bartikov. And sharp save again by Dostall. He’ll push everybody back. Troy Terry separated from the puck. Good support Mcome. He’s in out in front. Picked out by Wedgewood. He’s got it. Little uh a little chat. Keep an eye on that now through center. McTavish Senica all the way across. Here’s a look, a shot. Wedgewood swallows that one and it could be interesting. Lechan will draw it back away from Ryan Paling. Kne with a shot and Wedgewood was ready for that. Thinks twice. Under two minutes left in the period. Terry now to the outside. Cleo Carlson in back of the goal. Trouba activates. Carlson scores. It’s a put back. for Leo Carlson. His 100th point in his young National Hockey League career has tied the game and 20 points and counting. And it just took him a while on entry here to get in. Watch this play by Truma. Oh, beautiful play. What a pass by Trouba from behind, touching it to himself, picking it up the other side, and then bang bang. Look at He stops right in front. And so that is the key, Army, is it not? I mean he goes there he puts the brakes on. Trouba is able to make that play from behind the net. Maybe for Leo Carlson out here Jackson Lome with Senica. Lome cuts across a pir shot denied by Wedgewood. The youngest player in Ducks franchise history to hit 100 points surpassing the great Paul Korea. out of the scrum. Emerging is Chris Prder with Troy Terry. There’s Terry right in stopped by Wedgewood. Forehand backhand by Troy Terry after Chris Krider makes a nice little pass. I didn’t think he really faked the shot there, Army, from up top. I don’t think he really sold it and and Wedgewood respecting the shot and was kind of in between and he went right to the backand and Manson with a good play. Brings it forward with the chushkin going wide over here. Kelly to the slaughter shot. What a save. They’ll stall on Jack Drury left to go in the second period. What a passing play here by the ABS. You’re watching the Navy Federal Credit Union Veterans Appreciation Night. The car flushed out by Leo Carlson. in the center zone. Natushkin kicks it out to Nelson. Brock Nelson will circle get away from that loose stick. A broken stick from Holinsky. Natushkin goes stall. Can’t get it out. It’s Gabriel Landis gone. The Colorado captain. Well, we made mention of Jared Beddar making a quick little line adjustment. And it ends up paying off. I know it ends up being a disjointed change, but a little bit of a different look. Ellison had broken his stick. The ducks in front of the net with one less defenseman with a stick in his hand. And the captain buries the puck after a malfunction. You mentioned Johnny from Malinsky. Tied for first in the National Hockey League under the leadership of leadership of Joel Quenville. John Forsler, Eddie Oldch, Kobe Armstrong. We kick off the third period. Mar to the wall. Victor Olivesson. They play catch far side. Nes. Here’s Mar. Not much time on the power play. Kale Mar again. McKinnon calling for it. A tip. They score. The silent goal. Marty Nes. [Applause] Great hands in tight. It’s a power play goal. Colorado with a 3-1 lead. Ad living here. McKinnon gets to the middle of the ice. This is a shot pass. There’s one. There’s two. Yes. Leaning it to Nous. No chance for Doall. [Music] Beautifully done. Being very unpredictable on the power play. And McKinnon tried on the one side and Taves with a shot blocked in front. Kicked off Ryan Paling. Now Kurin will get it out. Paling fighting off of backjacker and lechin forced along by Mar left through center. Oh took his stick out and then braced for that hit and his stick Yeah, exactly. was up in that area. That’s that’s quieter. Rims it around by Leon. Brock Nelson in pursuit. Cut off. He leaves it for McKinnon. Nathan McKinnon in front. Put away by Parker Kelly. Brock Nelson makes a great play here in the neutral zone. Watch this. There’s one duck. There’s two ducks. There’s a third duck. And then all of a sudden, McKinnon’s got it. Couple of stick handles. Gets it over to Kelly. The boys will have an interview after the game with Scott Wedgewood. [Music]
Gabriel Landeskog scored his first regular-season goal since 2022 to help the Colorado Avalanche defeat the surging Anaheim Ducks 4-1.

Nothing Dostal could do against those guys. Great effort but the Avs are a train.
Man the avs are scary this year
Islanders fan here. man this Score makes no Justice easily could have been a close game Ducks are electric and Avalanche are aggressive tougher team won this one. Playoff Vibes
Atleast its not 9-1..
John forslund and eddie are the best booth in the league. Love when they do the tnt games.
Nathan MacKinnon has 12 points in 3 games and has assisted on or scored 8 out of the last 9 goals…insane. Leading the league in points and goals too 😭💀
Avs are probably going to win the cup this year. Just based on what I've seen there is no other hockey team that is going to beat them in a seven game series. The Ducks are probably going to be the Avs in 2 or 3 years but not now.
Wow, the first two periods were pretty quackers. The Avs were insanely fast and crisp and relentless with their attack but the young Ducks held in there and gave 'em a run for their money. Avs were a literal wall at certain points and the Ducks couldn't even manage a shot but by the end of the game pretty much matched them in shots. They're still a super young team but they learned a lot from this game of what it takes to be that good.
As a Red Wings fan I will say that this Avs team is fun to watch.
Wedgewood is a wall, my fav goalie, love his style
First 2 goals overturned, 3rd times the charm for Captain, so happy for him. Arturri clutching from his spot. Wedgie looks great.
Lets Go Avalanche
can't win them all
2 takeaways:
Avs are and absolutely WAGON Right now!!! And Anaheim’s goalie stood on his head!! Could have easy been 3,4-0 before ANA scored there first goal! Shots might have been close but grade A scoring chances heavily favour the AVS!!
Bring us a worthy opponent next time.
Ничушкина совсем не видно его что в 3 звено отфутболили?
ducks fan !! great hockey game those are two teams at the top
Colorado is the best team in the league. I say that not as a fan, but simply the sheer truth of the matter.
easy win for the Avs
Even if we lose the streak, at least we tried! Go ducks!
😲😲😲
Wow! The Ducks finally lose a game! Not surprising that it was at the hands of probably the league's best team currently.
Third time is the charm for Captain Gabriel Landeskog to get his first goal of the season. It feels right to see him play hockey again.
As a Duck fan I can only salut the Avs! They are a scary team! But to see 91 Carlsson play the same against the top team, still wants to dictate as much as possible, thats amazing to see!! Great effort by The Ducks!! Keep it up!
Man the Trouba self-pass off the endboards was siiiiiiick. Fun stat: looks like coming into tonight there were 19 guys at +10 or better in the league. 9 of them played in this game. (Carlsson went -3 so now there are only 18.)
The Avs are a WAGON
Go AVS👍👍👍🍀♥️,Gabe👏
Avs were speedy today
evern their passing so fast
Looking mighty fine boys, MIGHTY fine indeed.
👀 see what I did there?
GO AVS GO 🌀
Dostál byl skvělý ❤
I'm not even upset at least Ducks lost to a good team thus far into the season. Ducks have beaten very solid teams so no need to feel ashamed.
Well needed reality check for the Ducks. They*re on form bu nowhere near the real great teams in the league.
Whooooooooo avalanche baby!! Nobody but Nobody survives an avalanche!!! 🏒 (RUSH🙈🙊🙉)
As a ducks fan I’m not even mad we’re a lot younger then the avs and lost only with a few mistakes with tonight’s game overall I’m happy how we played. we’re only gonna get better from here! GG avs
If you'd bet on the Avs plus one and a half goals in every one of their games this season, you'd have a satisfying 17-0 record.
Avs always seem scary untill they crumble vs good play off teams
If it looks like a Duck and quacks like a Duck, it's Gender neutral
