Guys, I am recording this like an hour and a half after the game ended. Me postame took a minute, took a while getting home, got home, sat in my chair, and was finally able to breathe for a second. I I sat down. I had to take a minute just to breathe. This game we just witnessed from the Detroit Pistons. Later on, by the way, we’ll talk about Dance Jenkins and some of the injuries the Pistons are suffering. But the game that we just witnessed, the Pistons play against the Washington Wizards. I This is the most insane game I have ever watched in my life for good and bad reasons. This this game I will never forget this game. I don’t think I feel like a lot of people will feel that way. I will never ever forget this game. And they win this game 137 to 135. Cade took 45 shots in this game. He missed 31 shots. He shot 14 of 45. He shot 31% from the field. And somehow someway I am walking away from this game feeling like he turned it up and he showed up and showed out when they needed him most. And I somehow walk away from this saying, “Was it a bad game?” Like, did he was it a bad like it it was this is insane. Like this was this was crazy. Like I said, later on we’re going to talk about Dan Jenkins, who was like maybe the the next to Kade, the biggest hero of the game. But I have to spend time talking about this game we just saw from Cade. Again, like I said, 14 of 45 from the field, but he had 46 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists, five steals, two blocks, and only two turnovers in this game. They won his minutes by 10 points when he was on the floor. I I I I truly almost am at a loss of words. I don’t care what spreadsheet fan club has to say about this game. What I just watched K do was insane. He had nobody from Half his team was out in this game. Assaar was out, Stu was out, Sasser was out, Tobias was out, all these guy, obviously Ivy is out. Like all of these guys, Caris Levert was out. More than half the rotation is out of this game. and Cade went out there and absolutely emptied the clip. When I tell you emptied the clip, he emptied the clip. This is the first time someone’s missed 30 shots in a game since Kobe in 2003, but again, yeah, I walk away from this game feeling like, was it really a bad game? Like, yes, he missed a bunch of bunnies he tried to hit, but at the end of the day, he wills them back to a win. And look, man, in the fourth quarter, the Pistons are down by eight with four minutes left. And Cam Whitmore fouls Cade on a breakaway dunk. Kade lands on his tailbone. And I’m at the game. I’ll tell you guys during the commercial break, you guys may have not seen it. Kade got up and like fell back down, then got up, tried to walk it off, then help had to be limped off the court or helped off the court by two teammates, then fell down again. Like it looked like I was like, “Oh my god, Kade just got seriously hurt. It’s over.” Like the way he was the way he was moving. It was like, “Oh my god, this is over. He just it’s over with.” And he comes out of the timeout, goes back to the locker room, comes back out, immediately comes out back on the court. and after that point had 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block, and leads the Pistons back from when they were down eight with four and a half minutes left to beat the Wizards in the fourth quarter, had 15 points alone on 78 true shooting. So again, yet again, despite shooting horribly for the first three quarters, comes out in the fourth quarter and absolutely shows up and shows out despite the fact that he is he was just exhausted. Like you could see he was his stamina was on zero and he was still just chucking. He was empty in the clip. Okay, the clip was getting empty tonight. He was absolutely exhausted and got beat up on that foul. Cam Whitmore, dirtiest player I’ve seen in the NBA this year. To do that and then walk up on Cade while he’s on the ground, turn around and then kick your feet like you’re kicking trash onto him like you’re kicking dirt onto him. I first time I’ve ever wanted a player to reenact Bill Lamb beer and take him out. I I I was like, get Steu back, give Steu a uniform real quick and let him go do his thing because I if Steu was on the floor and he did that, we would have seen some stuff. But either way, he Cam does that and Cade responds with, “Okay, I’ll just come back out the locker room and I’ll dominate you guys and we’ll get the win because of me. I’m shooting poorly throughout this game. You want to play like that? I’m going to come out the locker room and I’m absolutely going to destroy you the rest of the game. And by the way, I’m going to get a win while I do it.” And that’s exactly what he did. And despite being on zero energy, despite being despite cha taking every single shot and being the team’s entire offense really for the majority of the game, we’ll talk about Dan Jenkins later, but being the team’s whole offense for the majority of the game. He also had seven stocks. He had five steals and two blocks. The defense you saw him playing in the fourth quarter want made me want to jump out my seat at the arena. Some of the rim protection reps he had on Alex Sar in the fourth quarter and overtime are plays you do not see other franchise players making very often. Rotating over and jumping and meeting a sevenfooter at the rim, going straight up vertical, blocking a shot. Just incredible plays, winning plays despite being absolutely gassed and still coming through on the defensive end of the floor. He is someone taking that many shots and that gas. They’re not trying on defense. They’re taking plays off on defense. Cade giving it his all on defense. Not just on the perimeter, getting steals, diving on loose balls, by the way, forcing turnovers, but then also rotating and meeting a sevenfooter at the rim numerous times. Rotating over, getting defensive rebounds, fighting on the glass, had a triple double, had four rebounds after that moment with Cam Whitmore. This was the exact definition of how can you impact the game when your shots not falling. How can you do it? And Kade did did it in every single way possible while taking care of the basketball. And yet again, despite all of that, when they needed him most, guess who started hitting their shots? Guess who went out there and took over the game? K. Cunningham did. I look, I in no way, shape, or form am I going to come on here and say he should have missed that many shots or that he could ever miss that many shots again. That can’t happen. You can never do that. That there’s a reason why it’s so rare. It’s not going to happen again. Can’t miss that many shots. He blew so many bunnies. We’re being real. This should have been a 60point game. This should have been an easy like efficient 60point game with how many bunnies he missed at the rim. Miss He was getting downhill getting so many good shots and just missing easy shots. Missing a wideopen jumpers from beyond the ark. He can’t miss that many open shots. No, that’s true. And he did have a bad game shooting wise until it mattered most. Did he have a bad game defensively? Nope. Did he make plays on the defensive end? Yep. Did he make winning plays on the defensive end late in this game in overtime in the fourth quarter? Yep. Did he find Duncan Robinson for multiple open threes to get the Pistons back into it and get the lead? Yep. Did he drive to the basket and find guys open? Yep. Was he active on the glass? Yep. Was he active on the perimeter, forcing steals, knocking the ball away, getting active in the passing lanes, diving on the ground for loose balls? Yep, he did all of those things. So yes, while he may not have shot the best for the first three quarters, when the time came up, he balled out, hit his shots, impacted the game on the defensive end, impacted the game on the on the glass, impacted the game by finding open teammates, and led the Pistons back from the maybe the most improbable win I have ever witnessed in my entire life. The craziest up and down roller coaster game that I will never ever forget. I will be telling my children about this game. This is the most insane game I’ve ever watched in my life. And K Cunningham is the reason why. And he showed that even when you are missing shots, how can you impact the game? And he did that. Again, I want to make it clear. He missed too many bunnies. He needs to make those shots. He will make those shots. This many shots missed can’t happen all the time. It’s not going to happen again. He’ll never miss 30 shots again. But in a game like this when you are without everyone and you are the only offense, you are the only creator. Everyone’s relying on you to get this win. Cade went out there and emptied the clip. Kept shooting. Didn’t go down without swinging and impacted the game in every other way possible while emptying the clip, while having zero stamina and pulled this win out for the Detroit Pistons. One of the best bad one of the best bad good or horrible game I have ever seen in my life. I I I have never seen anything like this before. Truly, I swear to God. I And maybe there’s another game. I’m sure there probably is another game that maybe people older than me can think of, but in my 27 years of life, in my 15 years of being a hardcore NBA fan, I can’t think of another game like this I have ever seen a NBA player have. This was it was this was like a this was a special night and a special game from Cade in both good and bad reasons and in ways that you can’t fully explain without just watching it yourself. Like I just crazy, man. Just just I f I needed an inhaler after the game. Like I I this game was insane. I it was I don’t know. It’s hard to explain what we just watched Kade do. If you watch the game, I feel like you got better understanding, but it’s tough. It’s tough for me to come on here explain exactly what I just saw, man. But Cade shows why he’s great, shows what he has to get better at still, but then at the same time still shows why he’s the franchise player, why he’s great, and why he’s one of the best players in the league. So, let me know in the comment section down below or over on Twitter, Cuckahill, how are you feeling after this game? like what was your takeaway watching this game? How do you feel about Cade’s game? Like I need to hear from you guys. I this is this is crazy. Um coming up though may if not for Cade, if it’s not Cade, it’s Dennis Jenkins who is the superhero of this game. What an incredible game from the two-way player. We’ll talk about him coming up. We will have another film breakdown going over this game. And I what we’re going to do with this film breakdown, probably going to drop it by late tomorrow, late on the 11th. I want to go through all the winning plays Cade made, all the big- time plays he made in the fourth quarter and overtime despite not shooting very well from the floor at all. So, we’ll get into that. if you guys want to check that out. I’ll link the substack down below for you guys. But let’s talk about the other superhero from this game. And no, it wasn’t Jaylen Duran. Even though Jaylen Dur didn’t have a terrible game, but it wasn’t Jaylen Duran. It wasn’t Duncan Robinson. It wasn’t Ron Holland. It wasn’t any of the other guys you’re thinking of. The other hero from this game is Dannis Jenkins. This man had 24 points, eight rebounds, four of those are offensive rebounds, fighting his you know what off on the glass, creating so many more opportunities for the Detroit Pistons and just being just just an annoyance to the Washington Wizards on the glass with three assists and also four steals on the defensive end of the floor. The Pistons in total, by the way, real quickly to go teamwide. They had 16 steals in this game. And it wasn’t just Danis doing what I’m about to say. It was Chaz Laneir doing this. It was Kade doing this. It was even Duncan doing this. It was Javvante Green doing this. They were so active off ball. They were so active tagging on rollers, tagging on cuts, and being active in their hands and knocking the ball away, knocking passes away, stripping the ball when guys tried to drive by them or cut down or rolled to the rim. They were fantastic off ball on in in pick and roll coverages at tagging down, creating turnovers. All of them, all the guys I just named did a fantastic job, but Dan Jacobs did a really good job as well. 24 shots on 17 shots, nine of 17 shooting. Hit four threes and played 33 minutes for again by again a two-way guy who hasn’t been in the rotation all year who is the team’s missing all of their players and he’s called upon to come in and not only come in and play an exceptional game, he scores, guys, in the fourth quarter. We just talked about how Will Cade played in the fourth quarter. Dannis Jenkins in the fourth quarter of this game. Shot six of seven from the floor. He made four threes in the fourth quarter alone. Had 16 points in one of those threes. Was an insane corner three to send the game in overtime. I’m at the game, guys. I’m at the game. When when Duncan Robinson and Jaylen Dur fall over each other at the top of the key and there’s four guys on the ground, I’m like, “Oh well, this is over. They’re not gonna even get a shot up.” Kay throws this ball to Dan Jenkins in the corner. Somewhat of a no look. I thought it was a pretty good pass. Kind of caught the defense off guard because Kay wasn’t even looking at Dan Jenkins. I think that played a part. Not to glaze K too much, you feel me? But I do feel like that made a difference. But those passes to Dan Jenkins in the corner. Jenkins raises up over the contest, wets it. And I kid you not, again, I’m at the game in media in the in the press row. My my hands immediately go and I’m looking around. Everybody in the in the media row is all like, again, not fans, not fans, just people watching the game saw that shot were just so shocked by the shot. Just was like, “Oh my god, what did we just This was the most improbable thing we’ve seen.” The Pistons by had to fight and claw back within 30 seconds. Fight and claw back. The Wizards missed the free throw. Allowed them to stay in the game and the Pistons pull that off. Dan Jac that shot. Guys, I look around at the crowd. People are losing their minds. I see people’s jaw on the ground. People are just like, “What just happened?” I’m watching fans, no joke, I am watching fans that already had left and walked out. I’m seeing the stairs all get flooded up with fans just running back down from their seats, jumping up and down. All of a sudden, the empty arena because everyone’s leaving, thinking the game’s over. Now all of a sudden, it’s getting packed way more and everyone’s running down back to their seats. It most ins I’m telling you guys, this was the most insane game I’ve ever seen. And Dennis Jenkins was a huge part of that. He absolutely balled out com played his you know what off and absolutely played tremendous, especially late in this game. He had clutch buckets, had clutch defense, had clutch rebounds. He was in every way, shape, or form fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. And this begs the question. I almost want to say it’s not even the question, but this this now brings the conversation of does he deserve minutes moving forward? I don’t know how you can have a game like this and hit the shots that he hit and make the plays on both ends of the floor, by the way, that he made. I don’t know how you play that way and you don’t get minutes moving forward. And look, we’ve been impressed by Dennis in a lot of games that he has played in the preseason, in summer league, in the spare minutes that he gets at the end of games over going even back to last year. We’ve been impressed with him over and every time he plays, he impresses. But he’s never gotten this type of chance to showcase for an entire game, be given that that leash because everyone else is hurt and knows that he can just play freely because he’s going to have the rest of the game. And he a triple plus the test. So I don’t know how you can not give him minutes moving forward. The Pizzas have been needing a backup point guard. They’ve been needing guys to step up with the ball handling responsibilities. Look, I I don’t know how you do it, but I don’t know how you keep him out. Every single time he’s played, he’s impressed. And the one time he gets extended minutes in a big time game like this late on national TV, by the way, this is a Peacock game. On national TV, hits the type of shots he was hitting in the clutch in the fourth quarter, playing the way he did on both ends. I don’t know how you keep him out the rotation, at least immediately. Not saying has to stay longterm. Doesn’t mean he’s banked himself 20 minutes long term. But next game, I think he deserves minutes. Let him keep playing until he gives you a reason not to play. Now, I know it’s easier for me to say that without being the coach or trying to figure out, okay, then whose minutes do you cut? Because there were multiple players in this game that played extreme like Javvante Green blocked three three-point shots. three, not not at the rim. Three-point shots, multiple of them, coming in clutch situations. One of them on Alex Sar, a sevenfooter late in the game to get the Pistons back down the floor. He had 11 rebounds as like a 6’4 65 guy. Four offensive rebounds. He played his, you know what, off and then he had a big time dunk at the end of overtime to put the Pistons up by three. Like, he played incredible, too. Chaz Laneir, he played 26 minutes. I was incredibly impressed from what Chaz did, especially on the defensive end of the floor. He was incredibly active off ball defensively. Constantly in the right spot, constantly making the right rotation, tagging down, forcing uh def or the the other the other team, excuse me, rolling to the basket to fumble the ball, get a steal, get out in transition, hit two threes, shot 205 from three. Like, he played confident. I thought he played really well. Paul Reed, I thought he play like the Pistons were missing so many guys and so many guys stepped up in their absence and played well. So Davis Jenkins, I think he deserves minutes moving forward, but like who are you taking minutes from? Javvante Green played incredible. Do you take minutes from him? I don’t like how are you going to do that? Even Chaz, I I’m sure Chaz is walking away from this game like man I played pretty well. I think I maybe I should get minutes moving forward. Like I I am I the depth that the Pistons showed in this game. I don’t know if they’re gonna be able that’s something that’s going to be shown for long term, maybe throughout a season. I don’t know if that’s something they can rely on moving forward like every game, but man, they gave reason for you to believe it could be that case that this team could go 12 deep and if they have an injury or two that they have guys that they can bring in, not go 12 deep, let me not troll. They’re not going to go 12 deep with the rotation mix. My point is that they have 12 guys that maybe if one guy gets hurt or two guys get hurt or three guys get hurt, if they have to play these certain individuals, they don’t feel terrible about having to do that. So, I know this was I want to give Dennis all the credit in the world. He played tremendous and this segment was supposed to be just about him. I get it. And I can’t I I really think he’s going to get minutes moving forward. But we really need to shout out not just Jenkins, but Chaz, but Javvante Green, Chaz Laneir, Paul Reed. These guys came in and and played extremely well given the circumstances. This was a Javvante Green talked about this in the postgame presser. This truly was like a Detroit type of win. A Detroit Pistons style of win. Guys are out missing more than half the rotation. Next man up. Physical, tough, grind it out. Never give up. Keep it going. Playing hard. Out hustling the other team. This was a a a if there was ever a Detroit Piston style of win, I feel like this is exactly that. It took everyone and everyone contributed. This was Dannis Jenkins. Fantastic, man. I think you’ll be in the rotation moving forward. But everybody else as well. Everyone deserves props cuz this was this was an exceptional comeback effort, never give up effort by everyone on the floor and everyone had to contribute to get this win. Let me know comment section down below or on Twitter, Cahill. How do you guys feel about Dan Jenkins game and how do you feel about everyone else that stepped up and played? Chaz Laneir, Javvante Green, Paul Reed. How do you feel about how they play? Let me know comment section down below or over on Twitter, Cookahill. Now, to get a little bit down and a little bit sad and a little bit concerning, got to talk about the injuries because that is while we’re talking about how great these guys stepped up and how great it was to see. This is pretty concerning. Today’s episode’s brought to you by Game Time. Basketball season is officially here and nothing beats being in the arena for those opening games. So, I know we talked a lot about obviously how Dan Jenkins played, how Chaz Laneir played, how Paul Reed played, how Dvonte Green played, how all these guys stepped up and got this win for the Pistons despite everyone being hurt. How impressive that is. And it truly is impressive. It was It is. I can’t put in enough words how impressive it is. Despite that though, the injuries for the Pistons are getting pretty concerning. Last year, remember in the offseason, I talked about this quite a bit on the podcast. Outside of Jaden Ivy’s injury, which I understand was a big one, but outside of Ivy’s injury, the Pistons were really were really lucky with or had good luck with the injury luck, the injury gods, whatever you want to call it. They had really good injury luck this past year. Again, outside of Ivy, nobody else really got hurt. A lot of their guys played basically the entire season. Tobias really missed time. Assar once he came back didn’t really miss time. Jaylen Duran didn’t miss real time. Kay Cunningham didn’t really miss any time. Like all of their guys within their rotation, Tim Hardway Jr., Malik Beasley, like they had some really good injury luck for the majority of last season outside of Ivy that is one big player. I get it. But the rest of the rotation really never dealt with injury. And that was a big deal. So many teams deal with injuries and that really hurts their season. and the Pistons had so many of their players healthy for the majority of the year that that really played a part in how they were able to have the season they had last year. And I spoke about in the offseason how you can’t really predict these type of things, but you hope the Pistons can have that type of injury luck that they had last year because if they don’t, that could be a bit concerning. Now, I understand I’m saying this as the Pistons sit at what they’re nine and two now, right? Um, I say this as they are the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. I say this as they’re on a sevename winning streak. Are they nine? Like, why can Why are they not showing the They’re either eight and two or nine and two. I believe they’re nine and two. I I’m sorry, guys. I the the standings aren’t loading for me. Um, but I’m almost 100% sure they’re nine and two. If you guys correct me in the comments, don’t Yeah, nine and two. Okay, finally loaded up. Um, I understand I’m saying that during all this, but it’s only been this past game where the Pistons were dealing without so many guys. And just to go through, these are the guys that the Pistons were without in this game. They were without Caris Levert. They were without Isaiah Stewart. They were without Jay and Ivy. They were without Tobias Harris. They were without Marcus Sasser. And they were without Assar Thompson. And now also, we all saw the fall Kate had and how I talked about the way it looked before he ended up coming back and playing. I won’t be shocked if he doesn’t play in this game on Wednesday and they sit him. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of a sudden tomorrow once their adrenaline runs runs out that all of a sudden that feels really bad and all of a sudden we hear that maybe there was a bruise or you know, I wouldn’t be shocked. I’m not hoping for that. Obviously, knock on wood, but with the way we saw it go down, it wouldn’t shock any of us if once the adrenaline wore off that all of a sudden we’re hearing like, “Yeah, that was that that wasn’t good.” So, we’re talking about six players that missed this game with Cade potentially, we have to wait and see how he’s feeling after that bad fall he took ended up playing through. We’re talking about seven guys at that point. And before the game, JB Bigger Staff said they have no timetable for Tobias Harris coming back. Said they’re hoping that he comes back soon. He’s progressing, but said they have no timetable. And if you’ve been a Pistons fan for at any point over the last seven years, you know, when it comes to the Pistons and these injury type of things, if they say the guy’s out a week, he might be out four weeks. If they say they have no timetable, that means he might be out three months. it. If they tell you a guy is questionable one game, all of a sudden you might get an update two days later that says he’s out four to six weeks. Like the transparency with the injuries, I’m sorry if anyone from the Pistons watches this. It’s just me being real. Transparency sucks. You never guys are questionable game time decision one game and then all of a sudden two days later we’re hearing that he’s getting surgery and he’s out four weeks. Like I that that’s how it works. So Tobias was questionable game time decision like two games ago and now we don’t have a timet for his return. That’s with the ankle sprain. Steu also suffered an ankle sprain. We haven’t gotten any update with him. Uh Assar Thompson was also out with an ankle sprain. He finished yesterday’s game just like Tobias did. Tobias suffered an ankle ankle sprain. Finished the game out then all of a sudden was a game time decision the next day and then now he’s been out for you know since then. This is the same thing going on with Assara. Sorry, I had a sprained ankle. Finished the game yesterday with Was game time decision out and now we don’t have a timetable on him. Obviously, Jay and Ivy were waiting for an update in the next week or so. I think we’ll get one. I’m assuming. I’m telling you guys right now. I am almost willing to bet money, but in a week or or so, whenever we get the update with Ivy, we’ll probably get the update that says we’ll get another one in two weeks. Marcus Sasser is going to be re-evaluated in four to six weeks. like and then Caris Levert his was just injury management it sounds like so he’ll be it’s I think he’ll be fine sounds like they’re just trying to rest him and take take it easy with him moving forward so he shouldn’t be you know anything concerned of but that’s five guys still that’s I I what the Pistons are doing with with the injuries they’ve dealt with to start the year being nine and two is ex out of this world impressive but it is that’s not sustainable they’re they are not going to be able to sustain long durations of the season with five, six players from their rotation being gone. Like that’s just being real. Can they hold off? And they did tonight and they’ve done it so far. How long can they hold off though? That’s the concern because eventually every team breaks under that. No one can sustain that many injuries for a long period of time. So I give this team an insane, absurd amount of credit for sustaining and playing this well despite some of the injuries that they’ve had. And I understand before this game it wasn’t everybody. I mean they had Assar for the majority of last game. Caris for the majority of last game. Stu and Tobias have been out for a minute. Sasser and Ivy. So that’s really four guys. They had Assar and Caris at least. Now they were without Assar and Caris. That’s six guys. So I get they had you know some important players like Assar and Caris at times. But this game they were without all of them. And we don’t know when they’re coming back. So the four guys that were missing they were sustaining it. Now you had another two plus Cade maybe being a little, you know, hampered after that fall. They they really need to get healthy and try to get these guys back on the court as soon as possible be at 100% obviously, but I’m I’m going to be interested to watch how long can the Pistons hold off the eventual we’re just we get that there’s next man up, but eventually next man up runs out. How how long are the Pistons gonna have to hold that off? Again, they’ve done a great job to this point. They need guys to get back though. And the fact that we just don’t really have an idea on any of these guys outside of Sasser. Sassers are really the only one who really got like an understanding of that. It’s going to be four to six weeks. Everyone else, we don’t know. We like we just we are in the the unknown with what’s going on with their injuries and when they could be back, whether it’s serious, whether it’s not like we don’t know. So, it’s a big concern. That’s probably that that is by far my biggest concern about this team despite them being nine and two. It’s my biggest concern surrounding them and I hope they get back 100% because this team is having a special start and if guys can get back healthy they’ll they’ll continue to have a really really special season and surprise a lot of people. But they need guys to get back healthy. So let me know comment section down below or over on Twitter how you feel about this game. Was this like the craziest game you’ve ever seen? Best American player in the world. Grant Hill if you spent less points in athleticism and more on shooting.
Ku that’s because you’re a baby, Zeke against the Lakers in the final on a swollen ankle big as a softball giving the Lakers straight work! Is the greatest performance ever, that was what it means to be a Piston, should be required watch for every one who puts on a Piston uniform!
His name is Clutch Cunningham now
Cade earned his stripes man. He’s tough af…
Thomas had a 4th quarter explosion after a sprained ankle in the Finals that was more impressive. But this was right up there.
Hopefully Cade just felt pain and won't be missing a month or two.
Id rather him have a game missing all those easy shots early in the season than the playoffs. If he plays next game im expecting an on point Cade vs the bull
Ku, its easy to call for Jenkins to be in the rotation after he (as much as Cade) won the improbable game for them. And as you detailed it was far more than just the last 2 key 3's. Where have you and all the Jenkin's "fans" been up to now? That most specifically includes BJ Bickerstaff who has let Levert amlessly pound the basketball and run down the shot clock while Jenkins butt has been plastered to the bench. You want to play Levert, fine, put him at the 2 or 3. But from this point on Jenkins must be the backup PG. And, BTW, he will have some sub par minutes or games. Don't yank him. I am not familiar with the rules on 2 ways players, but I sure hope other teams can't poach Jenkins with a roster contract and, if that is the case, then the Pistons should release someone and move him up.
SHOUT out to my boy DANISS JENKINS!!!! I'VE BEEN ON HIS SIDE SINCE SUMMER LEAGUE!!!!! AND HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! And to think y'all wanted Sasser over Jenkins??! Man…. GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!!
Cade misses too many layups for my liking smh he still has a way to go to be a tier 1 superstar, I will never understand why players like him and Ausar don’t just dunk the damn ball and stop with that weak ass finesse shit
This is y I never leave games early anything can happen
Cade should be trusting his team mate's more because they can't get better if they're not taking shots. If he's missing then why not let them get their shooting eye's in game time, its a long season. Bye the end of the season he will totally worn-out.
Give Jenkins some minutes. I really like his hustle
Not until this game would I ever say that a player would ever need to take 45 shots!
Is Cade going to play Wednesday? Sometimes an injury sets in the following day after the adrenaline runs out.
Obviously, he needed to take each and every shot he took.
Cade endeared even more fans last night with his unbelievable heart!
As bad as Cade was shooting, youd think he had a ton of turnovers. Only 2.
sheed hitting the 3 quarter court shot against the nuggets was crazier but yeah this was a wild game too
number 2 is number 1 baby!
10:32 Rip Hamilton game winner over Ricky Davis and the Celtics is up there
best analysis on this game by far
Both whitmore and banchero found out what happens when you poke the bear
Deeetroit basketball 🏀
It’s week 4 now, any updates on Ivey’s condition?
Cade Cunningham was ruthlessly brilliant last night (shooting statsaside) in a spectacular OT win the Pistons were supposed to lose and probably should have mailed it in but Cade showed a courageous determination only seen in players like Zeke, Jordan, Kobe
This guy is a winner and he will win a championship with the Pistons
Who is better than Cade in the eastern conference?
The pistons have a deep team
Was the win worth burning out Cade and Jalen so early in the season? This was a chance to give the bench more run, which may have provided benefits for the future?
Daniss has "Wilson" written on his left one and his right one. Ask him to show you….or not.
I have been very dissapointed that Daniss hasn’t gotten more minutes. Even during the final timeout of regulation I was thinking it should go to Daniss. He had great legs and has confidence. He shouts well, passes wells, plays good defense, etc.
I’d honestly rather him get minutes than Lavert.
The Pistons deserve a much better locked on host than this guy, who's not even American, much less proficient in English. Gimme a break.
If Ausar, Stew, Tobias & Levert would have been available, we would have won by 30 points. I'm kind of glad they didn't though bc it made for one of the most exciting games I have ever witness. Plus, it was even more exciting for me bc as soon as I saw who was out, I immediately bet Cade to put up a triple-double. Not only did he get it, but the final assist he needed to make it happen came on the inbound to Jenkins to tie it at the buzzer. That was incredible.
He is a smooth operator. I love when they play that song when he scores😂
