Even Trevor’s biggest hater said he wasn’t the problem

He still was reasonably critical, but it’s a good breakdown of things.

I’m tired boss
Man, with a healthy squad and slightly improved line play, this offense could be something… Which is great because I need any bit of positivity I can get right now. The last few weeks have worn me down.

He’s not THE problem. He’s also not really even A problem afaik. The problem is that he isn’t the solution.
My biggest concern is that statistically he’s never really spiked. I don’t think that proves anything one way or another but it’s weird.
I still believe in him. Mostly because he does have the baseline talent and also because there is a growing number of younger generation QBs that put it together later in their late 20s.
Say it with me. Actual franchise QBs do not require this much lawyering.
He’s fine. He’s never had receivers, and pretending otherwise is a joke. His best receiver was Kirk, who had a nothing career before here and had nothing career afterward. Same with Engram. Ridley was absolute trash, and BTJ can’t catch a cold unless it’s lobbed on a wide open slant from Mac Jones in garbage time.
Like, honestly, people need to stop. Hes not elite yet, who cares, hes fucking 26 and talented and has been through 3 systems cause of this org and is currently on the most complex one in the game and learning it from scratch with receivers who try to clap balls on crossing routes.
There’s enough blame to go around to not even talk about Tlaw at this point. He’s the scapegoat due to $$$, and that’s it. You aint getting a Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady anytime soon, so u can just stop and try and let this system build. We’re a competitive team in a year where they just tore everything down. People need to chill.
This isn’t a bad assessment. Highlights the good, highlights the bad, and states what most fans are echoing: we want more from Trevor.
