He should’ve been taking notes from Luke Kornet, that’s how a real backup center is supposed to play.
I strongly disliked Zack, so keep this biased narrative in mind. I was rooting for Collins to be healthy and play last night so he could take the loss. Collins was a complete waste of space with the Spurs, whether on the court or on the bench. When the Spurs traded for Fox, I was more excited to see Collins leave than to receive Fox—sorry, but I mean that. When the Spurs gave Collins 2 years for $40 million, I was furious.
He’s not familiar with what blocks should look like. Not a lot of experience with them.
I just saw a few seconds of post game greetings… it looked like Zach was getting the cold shoulder, but Tre was getting some love.
His reaction was more “what did you think was going to happen” vs “that’s goaltending”
I sent the exact same image to my group chat. Like c’mon Zach, don’t act brand new.
What fking garbage behavior is this? Spurs fans speaking trash against former players albeit not really loved by the fans but was a professional and good teammate to the remaining players? Gone are the days where trashing players from Spurs fans were for those who badmouth our team or do stupid shenanigans against us.
My least favorite spur of all time. Glad we sent his bum ass to freeze in Chicago.
