If that rim finishing can be somewhat sustained, whew I’d be very happy taking him if we fell out of the top 3. Already an elite shooter but he has function athleticism and is taking advantage of the new length he has after recent growth spurts.
He’s an exciting player, I’m mostly interested to see how he looks on defense throughout the year. He didn’t appear to be a weak point in this game, but Kentucky did not make it a point to attack him as I would’ve expected.
Hes making solid reads in his passing game, I wouldn’t call him a prolific passer at this point but he is clearly willing and able which is a good sign.
Overall pretty dynamic offensive player, looks like he’s capable of beating his man off the dribble consistently based on his athletic ability, I would like to see him turn the corner on his defender more in driving scenarios, might mean he needs to work on a more functional handle
This was a really impressive outing against a great team, really good sign early
I am definitely a fan so far, keeping an eye on him.
