Holy smokes. Two back to back questionable hits from 91. Someone take his head off. Kudos to Domi for trying but why is he the only one?

  1. This is a screen shot from a few moments after contact. I’m fine with a no call on it, and good on Matthews for hopping up and going right back at him. Zadorov is a big dude, and when he plays mean he’s a prick out there. He did his job last job night. Our team needs to find an identity quick. If we’re big, let’s play like it. But right now we are just slow and lost.

  2. I know nothing will change, but I hope this pisses them off. I hope they’re mad about this. The same guy, knocking 2 playe4s out in 2 games. Including your captain. That should make any team angry. That should wake any team up. But, we know it won’t happen.

  3. Doesn’t even matter, matthews definitely hurt himself on the retaliation you can see his legs go awkward after. Probably tweaked his groin at least thats how it looks on the replay. And the ginger skating afterwards is evidence.

  4. I was told this team was going to be tough as fuck and jam.

Yet 5’10 Domi’s the only one with a pair of balls to step up to Zadorov.

  5. Admittedly I didn’t watch the game, I can’t watch any of their games because I value my fucking sanity….. But I’m guessing 91 got the living shit kicked out of him right? Surely that’s what transpired here. I mean that’s hockey. Give = get.

  6. What else could we expect from a Furlatt game?

Good on Domi for eventually doing something, but only Domi would when we’re in the middle of a comeback and need something to kill our momentum. Where was everyone on the ice when it happened? Why was our captain skating up the ice after to get his own payback?

These guys are embarrassing. What was the point of getting so slow by being one of the biggest teams in the league if they still act like the smallest, meekest group?

  7. Dakota Joshua has to go. Don’t let him play another game. Dude was brought in to be a wrecking ball that can chip in here and there, so far this season Sammy Blais has been a better player then him. Joshua has to be this first to go.

  8. That was a dirty hit imo but it was clear from puck drop the Leafs were going to let him do whatever he wanted.

  9. If it got called Boston would have scored short handed. I’d be happier if they just tanked to try and get Gavin McKenna at this point because they are an absolute tire fire.

  10. We used to have a guy named Kadri who tried to k1ll these assholes for doing this stuff and never getting called, and everyone jumped on him and he was shipped out of town and won a cup.

  11. The boys stopped playing for Berube. They want him gone. Not possible but will see what happens. There still lots of season left and the standings are tight. They will turn this around.

  12. It was the retaliation where he got hurt. He didn’t get hurt on the hit or he’d a gone off.

  13. When I watch that sequence & replays of it, I had 2 thoughts…

1st— in the video replay of this hit & at this ice-level angle, Zadorov looks like he turns after this hit *looking* for a Leafs player coming to jump him. Seriously looks like he’s scanning immediately for the guy who’s coming in for some kind of retaliation…and just nothing.

2nd— it kinda looks like Matthews’ leg buckled and he might’ve got hurt on the hit going after Zadorov in the corner as Auston makes contact with him.

  14. I love the Leafs, but it’s tough to watch them right now after the high of watching the heart and drive that the Blue Jays just displayed.
