The ideal Kuzma role is just a better version of pj tucker
I’ve got a theory that Kuz practicing with Giannis and studying the way Giannis pushes to the basket and collapses the defense has really rubbed on to Kuz. There have been many times this season in transition in which Kuz went to the basket very similar to Giannis. Which makes sense, Kuz is really athletic, tall, and can handle the ball well for a guy his size.
In the past Kuz would pull up or post up, even in transition, and then try to make a stylish fade away or late to the basket move but the defense had recovered by then so it would be contested and result in a missed lay up.
Idk if I would laugh or cry harder if Kuzma won 6MOTY when Bobby should arguably have 2 of them
People simply can’t live with or without their goats and in this case, Kuz is unfortunately someone else’s personal *scapegoat* –the same way others view Bobby or Doc as theirs.
Probably Khris Middleton loyalists who think they’d be betraying, if not disgracing his Moistness’ memory by even liking Kuzma for one good minute.
Kuz has been solid. I think saying 6MOTY is getting way ahead of ourselves. But that’s fine. We just need him to be a solid contributor to (1) help this current team and (2) boost his trade value for the summer when he is an expiring contract and the bucks can make a play for more talent
Because pairing Kuzma with Giannis is just not very effective. You want floor spacers with Giannia. He’ll have his games where he makes a few 3s and it looks good but the overall results of that pairing were not very good.
From what ive seen he has fully trained to be the Grit guy. He runs the floor, shoots the open 3, and plays good defense. And thats fucking awesome
I don’t see how you can trust Kuzma at all after what he did in the playoffs last year.
Yea trading kuz doesnt sound like a good idea, as long as he stays with the 2nd unit, were still a solid team. Not sure well get that athletic wing with the assets we have but itd probably come at the cost of kuz or bobby and that might be a monkey paw.
Kuz has been one of the more pleasant surprises i have ever had. It is nearly impossible to overstate how bad he was in the playoffs last year. He looked more like a make-a-wish recipient than an NBA player and I wanted him gone all offseason.
He has been really really good so far. His shooting has been far better than expected, his defense and even help positioning has been massively improved and he has really improved by leaps and bounds. Still has a few lapses but nothing like we saw last year. Kudos to him for the work he has put in.
Mea culpa time, can’t believe how good he has been and how important he has become.
Love him off the bench he goes into Antet-Kuzma mode.
Yeah. Im ready to see those giannis kuz turner minutes go way up.
Im sure they sit giannis tonight. Maybe kuz gets a feature.
