Puts pressure on us, which I think we will be able to deliver on, but you know, it’s still business. It’s all business, man. I whatever it is, it’s like, let’s get locked in on this plan. Walk out that field, we’re like, damn, it took us forever to get to this game. Bring a mindn numbing execution, play after play to the table Thursday night because that’s what beats a team on Thursday. All right, it’s hard to get ready to play Thursday. how it compares to Sunday. It’s like the bear in the woods. I don’t have to outrun a bear. I just got to outrun you on Thursday night. I got to beat you up on Thursday night. I got to out execute you on Thursday night. I got to make you quit on Thursday night. Thursday night is the expectation that Lamar will be a go. Lamar is back. You do understand that, right? Uh I didn’t know that, but I appreciate it. Do you love the game as much now or more than you did at the beginning? I feel like I’m going always love the game the same. You know, I love it just as much as I did back then when I first started playing. Uh it’s the same. I love it just the same. what’s at stake. The only thing I can just try and quantify it for you because we all know you’ve just got to keep winning if you’re the Baltimore Ravens. Have to be great. They have to win. They have to begin the run because they have eliminated all of the margin for error. Give me a state of the team right now in your mind halfway through the season. I would say that the win Sunday probably energized us. We’re not satisfied by any means. Obviously, we still are two and five and um if I told you we’d be celebrating a win to get to two and five before the season in the locker room, then I think you’re lying. But, you know, that’s just the way the cards have been dealt this year and you know, we’ve dug ourselves in a hole and uh we got opportunity going forward to dig ourselves out of it. We’re going to be the team that’s waiting to play because we did this preparation, we go to work right now, but I’m not really worried about the run right now. I got to focus on Miami. You know, we can’t never overlook your opponent. So, we going to focus on those guys. Try to come out victorious. then move on the next week. We all know who we are and who we need to be uh play in and play out. Wiping the slate clean. Whatever happened in the past, let it stay in the past and let’s, you know, try to focus on, you know, one and0 every week from this point on. There’s a great line that I’ve heard, everyone likes to be noticed. Not everyone’s comfortable being watched. Lamar Jackson is the type of person who seems to have been born to be watched. This Ravens offense has something going on tonight in Miami. That’s how you feel. That’s how you feel. He was man who did Sean. Oh my god. I had to throw behind Jack. And the Dolphin fans are none too pleased, but the Ravens fans happy to see the Ravens take off in the locker room at halftime, leading the Miami Dolphins 14-6. The Dolphins won the opening coin toss but elected to receive. You don’t hear that every night. So that means the Ravens get the ball first here in the second half. And Rod with a 146 lead. You get the feeling if the Ravens can open with a touchdown drive, the Dolphins might check out. I haven’t seen Lamar really get out of the pocket. So the question is how strong is that hamstring? How much confidence does he have in that hamstring right now? On third down and six, Lamar in the shotgun. Dolphins bring blitz pressure. Lamar steps up. Pocket collapsing. He’s going to run cross the 40. 45 tripped up and he tumbles down at midfield. But a first down Ravens as Lamar Jackson on his legs extends the drive. Well, it felt good enough there to get the first down. And a great play call by Todd Monin to neutralize the blitz for Miami. They don’t like he throws contact so well. Yeah, he plays big. looking for an opening drive touchdown to start the second half. The Ravens came in at 2-5, the Dolphins at 2 and six. Both teams trying to beat the long odds. Both teams trying to become 1enters. First and goal from the Miami three. Lamar to throw, lob to the end zone. That was a spectacular drive. I don’t know if Coler intentionally tried to lose his balance, but it added to him trying to kind of hide from the defense. He’ll kind of go down. Maybe he lost his footing there. Just elite athleticism. Um, no, I’m just kidding. I almost fell cuz I almost fell. It’s kind of embarrassing, but uh it kind of worked. Honestly, I think they kind of dropped me. So, I might do it on purpose next time. It kind of worked. They do the same way. Good. Hey. Hey, bro. Lamar Jackson throws a dart as the Ravens are putting their foot on the pedal now. And they’re starting to wear out the Dolphins off the play fake. And Lamar Jackson almost tonight just has felt like he eased himself into this game and in his second half has gotten back more comfortable and in complete command to this Ravens offense. And the defense is doing an amazing job tonight as they’re winning the turnover battle. Oh, that ball’s out. That’s player ball. That’s player ball. So you now that’s how all my boys come out. And Rod, you can almost feel the energy in the Ravens defensive secondary for the pick that is coming up next. Who on second down drops the throw, sets his feet going deep. He’s got a man at the 20 yd line and it’s picked off. Malachi Stark pulls it down and the rookie with his first NFL interception returns it to the 45 yd line. And with 630 left to play in Miami, the haze in the barn, Malachi Starks, the Ravens first round draft pick who has been so impressive since day one of training camp. You’ve been waiting for him to make that play where he starts to really separate himself from the crowd. There, there it is.
