Crazy how he got these numbers and is 5th in MVP race while SGA is 1st, it seems most years he is robbed of a MVP, both in Dallas and L.A

  1. Well it’s because of OKC’s record lol, what’s surprising about this? MVP always has team record factor into it

  2. MVP means “best player on the best team” in the NBA, and it’s very very hard to defy that.

  3. It’s all narrative based and the media doesn’t like Luka, his numbers can’t get any better and he’s leading Lakers to a solid record without Bron(Reaves missed some games too)

  4. SGA hasn’t played in 6 fourth quarters this season. He would have higher stats if they had the need for him to play. But they have had so many large wins he doesn’t have to. I would’ve thought he’d stat pad to make a bigger case for MVP. Surprising

Oh also SGA hasn’t missed any games and Luka has, that might have something to do with it. Plus AR scored 50 and 40 pts in games Luka missed and won those. That could hurt his mvp case too

  5. OKC is 11-1 and Luka has missed 4 out of 11 games. This isn’t some conspiracy. If he holds these stats and stays healthy he will climb the ranks

  6. The best to him but I don’t care if he gets MVP or not. I feel like caring would only bring pain.

  7. MVP is not a personal achievement, it’s an opinion poll. And people put way too much stock into it.

  8. I was 100% sure that being in LA would boost his MVP chances but at this point it just seems that voters are biased against Luka or just for these other players in some way.
