2025 MLB All-Rookie First Team ⭐️ (Ft. Kurtz, Baldwin, Wilson, Anthony and MORE!)

This ball is hit high and deep out to right center off the bat of Drake Baldwin and it’s gone. Add that to his rookie of the year resume. One to nothing Atlanta. How about 404 ft here for Drake Baldwin. A big one here. 98 mph that fast ball on time here in the first inning against Perez. Now Drake Baldwin his first at bat as a cleanup hitter. He’s got two in scoring position and he jumps on the first pitch deep to right center. That ball is sailing and it is out of here. Drake Baldwin Braves up four nothing. He’s going to get a first pitch cutter that just spins. Doesn’t do much of anything. Right in the middle of the plate. And it is so fascinating to watch that in slow motion. Almost looking like Drake Baldwin had his eyes closed as he was making contact with that bomb. Close your eyes and swing hard. Swinging a drive deep to left. He’s done it four times. What a magical night for the big Amish. Smooth as butter, baby. Incredible. Simply incredible. Oh my god. Shut it up. Oh my god. Is right. Astros fans here at the ballpark behind the dugout are on their feet tipping their cap. First player in athletics history with a four homer game. Two- two to center field. Benson back. There she goes. The good guys in the white shoes have a grand slam and they lead by six. That was large. 493 ft off the bat of Curts, the longest at this ballpark this year. Cleared the batter’s eye. Now, an RBI chance for Luke Kishel in his first big league at bat. He was a second round pick just a couple of years ago in 2023 out of Arizona State. But in his first at bat, he has his first base hit and his first RBI. Kishell with a big turnaround first, but it’s two nothing Minnesota as Luke Kishel comes through in his first try. A little bit of a half swing there and a nice little smile following off that first pitch and doing the same thing with that swing. Excellent basketball skills. And you see the Joy got himself a big league hit and an RBI as he swings and launches high and deep to left field. Back it goes. Deep it goes and gone. Luke Keshaw with his first major league home run. Welcome back to the rookie. And what an impact he’s making already tonight. It is three nothing Twins here in the opening inning. What a spark he brought to this team in April. And that smile, the energy is back in that first base dugout. That ball was absolutely crushed. There’s a drive left field back at the track and gone. Caleb Durban, his first big league home run. Gives the Brewers a two nothing lead. Got it up into the jetream and rides it out of here for a dinger. That is some hard contact. I think he knew that it was fast ball after fast ball after fast ball. I think he sat on it. A heater up in the zone and does not miss it. Morgan brings home the first pitch and Durban a drive left center deep. See you later, Caleb Durban. Turn out the lights. The rookie ends it on a solo walk-off shot and the Brewers win it four to three. How about that moment for Caleb Durban and the Brewers here tonight in Milwaukee. Back to the top of the order with Jacob Wilson. He wastes no time. Jacob Wilson, welcome home. A two-run homer for Jay Willie. It’s two to nothing A’s. [Music] Go to work, Jay Willie. Jacob Wilson all over that curveball. That thing just kind of sat up, stayed close to the inside part of the plate, and Jacob Wilson opened up and hammered it. The 3-1. He hits this one to center field. That ball’s going back. That ball’s going back. And gone. Jacob Wilson. A multi-h homer game. Another two-run shot. Make it four to one. Contact hitter. Just call me slugger. Yeah. Put my foot in my mouth. My goodness. Fast ball up top. Jay Willie says, “I’ll meet you there.” 3-1 drive to center field. It’s a base hit. Streaking around third is Rios. The throw to the plate is late. It’s late. The A’s win the series. Jacob Wilson walks off the Rangers again. It’s a four to3 winner. The A’s have arrived in West Sacramento. Roman Anthony just a couple of months into his major league career looking for his first major league walk-off here. He has the winning run of Bree at third with nobody out in the infield in. And a fly ball to center field that will end it. McCormack goes all the way back. It’s over his head on the warning track. Roman Anony’s first career walk-off hit helps the Red Sox beat the Astros in Boston. What a game we got to experience. Playoff type baseball. Two great teams fighting for their playoff spot here in August. In scoring position like a broken record on this top of the order and Anthony high fly ball to deep right field and a no doubter from Roman Anthony in his first game at Yankee Stadium. He finds the second deck. A two-run bomb. And man oh man, how bad did the Red Sox need that going into the bottom of the ninth? Two balls, two strikes. McGill got to come up with a big one here. And that one’s hit well left field hooking. Collins on the run. Collins runs it down. What a catch. He broke the wall. Now the throw gets away. McIll cuts it off. That’s a huge play. Otherwise, Hillyard’s going to score right there. How about the catch from Isaac Collins? Unbelievable catch by Isaac Collins. Potentially a game-saving catch by Isaac Collins. Collins rips one to right field. This one is hit a ton. Back it goes and gone for Isaac Collins. Two nothing Brewers. [Applause] His third home run of the year. His first as a left-handed batter. This will be the 28th pitch of the inning coming from Williams. There’s a swing and a drive in the air deep to right field away. Beck and gone. A threerun home run for Jacob Marcy. And just like that, the Marlins have put up four on Williams here in the first. He knew it and he got all of it. Well, Yuri Perez is used to this. He gets almost seven runs per game every time he’s out on the mound. Well, he’s gotten a four spot. Executed properly. You needed it down away. Here’s a drive in the air right field and deep and gone. This kid Marcy is on fire. It’s his second home run of the night and he has put the Marlins back on top six to four here in the fifth. The Marlins do it with a rally. What do the Marlins have on their hands here with young Jacob Marcy? Wow. Monty, a deep shot back. It goes to right field. Get out. A grand slam for the youngster Coulson Montgomery. And you can see the future of the Socks here on display. When a guy that strong gets a hold of a fast ball and elevates, we told you if you get it up in the air tonight, it’s going out of here. And Montgomery with his 12th. Coulson Montgomery deep to right field. Get out. Yes. And the Socks retake the lead in the ninth. This has been a wild game in the nation’s capital, but it’s Coulson Montgomery to the rescue in the ninth. I mean, this is a dude right here, man. When you pencil him into the lineup, you you know you got a guy that’s going to take a swing that means something every night. Kate Horton on the mound. And for Seamer averaging about 96, well above the major league average. There goes the runner. The pitch is high. Throw to second on the money. Got it. Reese Maguire. What a throw. I mean, right there. Swing and a miss. And Thomas is down on strikes. And a swing and a miss. Struck him out. Swing and a miss. He went change up and he got him. That’s a good pitch right there. There goes Naylor. Pitches high. Throw to second. Tag out at second. The second spectacular throw from Reese Maguire. Swang and a miss. And Horton doing it with that change up. It’s been excellent here tonight. Swing and a miss. Got him to chase on the heater. Santana is gone and Horton fires. Got him reaching out towards center. Pete Crow Armstrong out number three. Seven shutout innings for Cade Horton. And there is lefty Noah Cameron, 25-year-old from St. Joe. He’ll turn 26 in just about a week now. 256 erra. Again, lowest by any rookie in baseball this season that has made at least five starts. Cameron’s quickly ahead 0 and two and making a quick strike out. One, two, three. Lindor is headed back to the third base dugout. Oh, he swung there. Strike three. Foul tip. Held on. Strike out. Nice job. Look at the slider. Okay. He starts in and broke a lot. And nice job by the firm dog to secure that ball in the end of his webbing. Pretty good number there. Nice pitch. And he gets Terren swinging on the fast ball. 5Ks for Cameron. All of them have been swinging. Got him swinging on the curb in the dirt. Strike three. School time. Way to work that breaker. That curveball is looking nasty. Lindor’s fishing at the curve and for me takes care of the rest. Seven Ks for Cameron. Swung on and miss. Strike three and he rolls it to third. Double play ball. There’s one. There’s two. Six scoreless innings for Noah Cameron. Q’s come to get the baseball. Your home crowd, they’re going to love him again. They roar for the kid from St. Joe. The rookie southpaw continues his sensational start. The Cardinals relief core has been awesome since the All-Star game. Yeah, they’re really good. And Matt Swanson has gotten himself an opportunity, right? I mean, this is a young man with a big time arm. There’s the sping to miss. Swanson gets Swanson. Two outs. Well, right here. Sinker. He took a little bit off of this thing. Swing and a miss. Swson strikes out two Cubs. Seventh inning stretch. It’s all Cardinals in game one.
