What is the reasoning Giants is his top landing spot?
It’s a random dude making a random list. It means nothing and it’s best to treat all of these lists that way. The Giants are going to be on most of these because they’re a larger market known to spend
I hate this stupid foreign player posting process. Just wake me up when he picks a team.
He’s projected to get 135/6. There’s no reason we cant be competitive at those numbers. He also seems to want to compete against the dodgers. He probably ends up in NY, but this isn’t Yamamoto, we can make an offer here.
I hope we do get some japanese players that want to compete against not with Shohei.
Already wearing dodger blue.
Immediately to the Dodgers
I’ll believe it when I see it.
Unfortunately, the dodgers are Asia’s team. The rest of the league can get Asia’s players after the dodgers pass on them. They’ve built this up since the 90s and it’s hella paying off now.
As long as the dodgers are even on the list, let’s not kid ourselves, it’s going to be the dodgers

Lol at Dodgers at 7
Meh I don’t hold much hope, sucks saying that but it is what it is.
If the Dodgers want him, and they probably do, they’ll get him. Baseball needs a salary cap.
I’m putting all the good energy out there for this to happen. There’s a bunch of big changes happening and Buster has been handling business
So he’s going to the Mets.
All it costs is money.

There is no universe where Dodgers are lower than 3.
I’d love for them to get him, but everything coming out around the team says they aren’t going to spend this offseason. Maybe Imai is the exception?
The Giants, eh?

Giants fans at this point.
Unfortunately, Japan still has a “beef” with SF involving a “comfort women statue”. This isn’t a trivial issue.
