Picollo: Adding to short side of a platoon a necessity

MLB . com's Mark Feinsand reports the Royals are targeting an everyday left fielder and a right-handed hitter who can pair with Caglianone in right. Picollo made it clear the team isn’t eager to invest heavily in a short-side platoon, but "the reality is we need it."
