As a Chattanooga native, this is depressing. There was already a surprisingly small amount of Titans fans in this area to begin with, but now it only seems like it will get smaller. Hopefully they can produce something for the casual fan to watch.

As a Knoxvillian, people reallllyyy don’t care about the Titans. Obviously, we have the vols and that’s Knoxville’s big thing. You will see so many jerseys and hoodies that are anything but Titans around here. Titans are my AFC team, and when I pull out the Chris Johnson jersey I feel alone around here lol
That’s horrible. Thankfully I’ll be at this game! Tickets were hella cheap!

I remember when hard knocks was in Houston and Bill O’Brien had just taken over the head coaching job in one of his first speeches to the players was “look nobody even knows we exist down here, we have to make our own noise”. It wasn’t one of those phony “us against the world” speeches that every team says when they start the season or get in the playoffs.

Last weekend was the best week of football I’ve watched in months not being forced to watch ass for 3 hrs.
It’s all ratings based as it’s a profit share at the end of each year. Data must support not enough watchers are in east and west Tennessee.
I cannot tell you the last time Knoxville didn’t get the game. There are Titans fans here, literally dozens of us lol
The Preds are in last place, so they will be losing their fanbase as well.
The NFL is essentially actively trying to make our fanbase smaller

I used to live in Little Rock, AR, and get so pissed I couldn’t get Titans coverage, but Dallas was on every Sunday. Distance was the same to each city, and the Titans didn’t even blow back then. Also, Fuck Jerry Jones.
But yeah, this year I kinda get it. I got offered free tickets to this game, and it’s not worth paying for parking.
How are we watching in it from Knoxville?
