Sharon Govich, we man, we just did a sit. We just did a Yigor show the other day. My Jagor. Our Eigor had one shift in the final half of the hockey game. He earned it. Um 8:21 in ice time. There’s Hany minus two in 8 minutes and 21 seconds of ice. He had one shot on goal. Um, this is Sorry, I was just going to say and it was interesting because he was in the second half of that game, the one shift after the halfway point and he went out with Codri again. It’s like, okay, well, here you go. Get it going. Haven’t played. And to just watch, he was along the wall and had the puck and it’s he’s skating with it. It’s like, okay, well, you’re not going to beat that Dman. It’s clear by how much speed you have going. You’re not going to get around him. So he just kind of turned and went back up the wall and a def defender was right there and he just kind of lost the puck. There’s no sense beating. There’s just duster. There’s just nothing there. Lego. There’s just nothing there right now. And that’s another thing that the coach has to deal with this every day because he is a human being that’s in his locker room. It’s like, oh, am I scratching him today? Are we putting him on the fourth line? Are we We don’t know this man personally. I don’t know what this guy’s makeup is mentally. I don’t know anything about it. But at some point, you just cut bait if you can. Well, that’s the But you even you can’t have you can’t just cater to guys that don’t show you anything as far as want. Eventually, it becomes an illness in your dressing room where you’re like, “What are you doing with this guy?” Send him to the miners, would you? like get out of here. You’re either in and helping pull on the rope or out, right? And I’m not saying he’s a bad person or a distraction, but if it’s just dead weight, that is also not worth. Yeah. But that’s I mean essentially that’s what you’re saying. Yes. Is he’s play it’s fine. This guy’s going to make his money. He’s going to do his thing. This is who he is. I don’t that’s I am not going to sit at home and stew over how to get Sharon Govich motivated cuz he isn’t. Yeah. He was motivated to get a contract. He got a contract. It doesn’t look like he dreams of winning a Stanley Cup. Do you get that vibe? Is he beating himself up? Is it confidence? I don’t know. Maybe he’s a great guy. Maybe I’m out to lunch. But from the coach, it sure looks like a guy that happy to Yeah, he does. What did I do the other day? Happy to do this one table. Yeah. Uh for those just listening, Red has put his feet up on the table across them. Uh and you were talking about something else before you went into the Sharon Govich cuz who cares anymore cuz that guy clearly doesn’t. You make four lines. I’ve said it now for weeks. You make four equal lines. The three that are going play. You get a period to prove yourself. So you get four or five shifts. And if you’re horseshit earlier than that, you don’t even get that. And you’re going to sit there for 50. Congratulations. And you do it for a month straight and then everyone goes, “This sucks.” They either quit on you and if so then you don’t want them around or they go, “I don’t want to.” Who’s one of the greatest coaches ever? Coached in Detroit for a long time. Coached in Montreal. Went a bunch of Stanley Cups. Scotty. Yeah. Scotty used to have that sort of philosophy. You know what I’m That’s fine. Mhm. And it’s not a personal thing. Next game, yeah, you get get back at her. It’s I’m not going to hold you back in the first period the next game, but if you perform the same, sit your ass down right here. See, and the thing I get caught up in is this is when better for when you’re actually trying to win. And I think right now it’s don’t waste it because I don’t want you to don’t use this. Yeah.
