Reed Sheppard (21 points) Highlights vs. Washington Wizards

They got a good scoring second unit of course has to the Rockets again anytime Houston sees zone which is not a lot green sheep joins the three party [Music] [Applause] blows by Ker and he’s getting better for Reed Shepard you know he can shoot the deep three so Kasper close out you blink he’s right around you but strong finish here from Reed Shepard he’s got some hops maybe thought about dunking that one. But nice little layup. Tap some glass on the way up. What was your word last year, Vanessa? What was his word? All outerw wear. He had no idea what outerwear is. No, our definition of outerwear varies. [Music] Clober Jaylen Thur probably the dunk of the year in my opinion. Jeff thought he got fouled, made the three. Roster dealing with an injury and not in their lineup tonight as a Kouli has a leg injury. Reach Shepard lines it up straight away. Look, he makes his for three and then he is Gardner from his teammates. Look at Min Thompson. Nice little toss there. And again, that’s a a work season 18 for Shepard. He looks like a completely different player. There’s the block from behind and the Rockets get the ball back. Yeah, he did. But look at Reed Shepard chasing here and you see that timing, man. He gets right around Carrington. Does not foul him. Big fan of of Washington play. Shenon to Shepard from the slot. Another one. Number five. Five of eight from three. 21 points. The Rockets have three guys who have scored 20 plus in this game. Two of them coming off the bench. 21 for Reed Shepard.

  1. Reed has been this level of shotmaker, off ball weapon, and defensive playmaker for a long time. 2.5stl and a block shooting over 50% from three as a KENTUCKY true freshman. I don't understand why he has to play and shoot ridiculously like this just to get 20mpg. He is showing he should be starting and is in the 4 best players on this team right now and fits Amen beautifully, should be playing bare min 30mpg, he is what can push this team to its ceiling.

  2. I never counted this young man since the day he was drafted, he is flourishing in a way like Amen did last year to where we hopefully have a debate on if he should continue riding bench once Fred comes back, and he’s playing like he doesn’t want to be back there again! Talk about resilience.
