Of the best Seahawks teams to **not** make the Super Bowl, I would say those are the 2012 and 2015 teams.
Imagine, for a second, that the 2012 team beats the Falcons and the 2015 team beats the Panthers.
Which is more likely to go on to make, and even potentially win, the Super Bowl (*47 and 50*, *respectively*)?
Assume that the results of Super Bowls 48 and 49 are unchanged.
We’ve achieved. It really doesn’t matter now.. but drunk me is thinking John Schneider was an “architect” to another Super Bowl caliber team. You guys it doesn’t get much better than this lol knowing that, if we were to lose against the rams this week, it really doesn’t matter. Kind of like the mariners making an ALCS, to even be mentioned as one of the best teams in the nfl is amazing.
Coming from someone from Portland and seeing the blazers go into purgatory and being there for nearly 5 years… we are seriously spoiled with how good the Seahawks are. They passed the “eye” test of being elite and obviously national pundits are talking about us. Things can really go sideways for a franchise in transition and we have weathered the storm. Things are so bright if you’re a Seahawks fan, now it’s just a “let it ride” mentality which is where you want to be as a sports fan.
