Things Just Got VERY INTERESTING For The Seattle Seahawks…

Things are getting very interesting when it comes to the NFC playoff picture. Well, the NFL playoff picture as a whole, but specifically the NFC and how it relates to your Seattle Seahawks because there’s a lot of good things that are starting to fall your Seattle Seahawks way. But before we get into any of that, I do want to let you know that you need to help me get to that 1K mark on Twitter. Follow me there. I’m so close. I’m going to rush to get the videos out to you as accurately as possible. I want to keep you informed. But where I break news or give you my first opinion is always going to be on X, willer. Make sure you go and hit that follow button to keep yourself informed with the latest Seahawks news. Now, let’s get into the video. [Music] Here is the current standings in the NFC West. And I don’t know if you know this, if you don’t, you’ve been living under a rock. The Seattle Seahawks have a very big game against the Los Angeles Rams this week. And the reason for that being a big matchup is not only because both teams are right now tied for the division lead. But they are also tied for that second spot in the NFC when it comes to the entire playoff picture. Now, when I look at what this team can be, I think it’s a two team race between your Seahawks, who I clearly think can win the division, and the Rams. Now, I know that most of you saw where the 49ers were sitting. They just were what, a game back so far of both of those top two teams. But I think you’re going to see the 49ers continue to drop back as the season progresses. They are one of the most injured teams in football. I mean, shoot, just look at their injured reserve. This isn’t their injury report. These are players that are not eligible to play right now for the 49ers. Brandon Iayuk has still not been brought back. He’s missed the entire season dealing with his knee injury. Micah Williams season is done. Fred Warner season is done. Nick Bosa’s season is done. The 49ers have too many injuries to too many key players. They are not going to be able to overcome these injuries. That’s not even going to mention that Brock Pie’s been in out in out in out of the lineup for this squad. I mean, it’s weird to say this. The only healthy player through the entirety of the season has been Christian McCaffrey. one of the more injury repo prone great running backs in the National Football League. Even George KD missed some time. So to me, the 49ers, they’ve done a valiant job, a great job of being in contention for the NFC West. I think the injuries are just going to weigh them down just a little bit too much. Now, I do still think that there’s an outside shot for the 49ers to make the playoffs. The current playoff picture has the 49ers just outside of the playoffs. They are in the eighth spot right behind the Green Bay Packers who are in seventh. I’m not saying that the 49ers can’t get in, but I think they’re going to need a lot of help and they’re going to need a lot of their top players to continue to perform better than they have been or continue to perform at the level that they have been this entire season. I’m looking right at you, M. Jones. I’ve kind of given you my opinion. I’m sitting on the fence, a little bit wishy-washy with the 49ers. I think they can make the playoffs. I don’t necessarily think that they will make the playoffs. Let me know what you think down below in the comments. Type why if you think that the co the 49ers will make it into the playoffs. I’m going to let you know why I think the Seahawks can not only win the division, but be the top team in the NFC in just a moment. It’s good to be right. Look, obviously the matchup this Sunday is going to be pivotal for your Seattle Seahawks. A win against the Rams gives you complete control when it comes to your playoff life. Right now, this is the first time that the Seahawks have not been favored going into a game since week two against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Obviously, the Rams are favored by a field goal and half a point. I love that positioning for the Seahawks. They continue to be disrespected by the NFL, by the media, by Vegas. And I think that Mike McDonald is going to tap into that and the players are going to tap into that and continue to play at a high level. Right now, when you look at the Vegas odds for who is going to be the division winner, for whatever reason, the Los Angeles Rams continue to get a lot of love. Right now, they’re at minus 115. For those of you who don’t understand Vegas odds, that means that they are favored to win the division in that one. your Seahawks just outside of that favorite position at plus 110. San Francisco 49ers way back. And uh look, there was no reason to even put the Cardinals uh odds there. It just it was too big of a number. Obviously, I’m the host of the Seahawks today, Will Ortner, and I would be stupid to tell you that I’m going with anyone other than the Seahawks. I am biased, and I’m going to give my favorite team the benefit of the doubt when it comes to winning this division. But I think it’s important to look at the schedules for both teams and what they have remaining in their final eight games. When we look at the Rams schedule, obviously they have to play the Seahawks twice uh this week and then week 16, which will be a Thursday night football matchup. But you’ll notice they’re also going to take on the Buccaneers, the Panthers, who are surging. They get the Cardinals twice, which congratulations on getting two extra wins. the Lions, super frisky, and the Falcons, who I don’t really know what to believe right now with the Falcons. They are um sometimes they’re good, sometimes they’re bad. And if you get that reference, I I took out the cuss word in there. When you look at the Seahawks schedule, obviously weird. They play the Rams week 11 and week 16, just like the Rams play the Seahawks week 11 and week 16. Then the Seahawks get to go to Nashville and play the Titans who are a hot dumpster fire. The Minnesota Vikings have been very up and down just like the Atlanta Falcons. Colts the surprise team of the National Football League. Panthers again very up and down. And then week 18 against the 49ers. What I think is very important to notice when it comes to these schedules is that it feels like, and maybe this is just me looking at the Seahawks side, but Seattle has the better schedule when you go through it, the Tennessee Titans should be an easy win. I think that the Falcons, if you fall to the Falcons, that’s a big whiff on your part. And then look, the Panthers, they’re very up and down. They seem to do well when Meow Mix decides not to do a podcast. When Meow Mix decides to do a podcast, then they all of a sudden turn it up a notch. Those who know no. But I will say that aside from the Rams and Colts game, I don’t know that I’m really scared of any team that’s left on the Seahawks schedule where when I look at the Rams schedule, you should be scared of both your games against the Seahawks. That Detroit Lions game is very scary as well. I trust Sam Darnold to get this one done, man. He’s been the most efficient quarterback in the National Football League all season long. He continues to impress and get better and better and better. I mean, shoot, his MVP odds just get smaller and smaller and smaller. Right now, he’s sixth when it comes to the Vegas odds on winning the National Football League’s MVP award. Then you have to look at who’s the best wide receiver in the National Football League, and it isn’t even close. JSN is the only receiver with thousand yards on the year so far. Hey, guess what? He’s also the only receiver with 900 plus yards this season in the NFL. He’s been the best offensive player in the National Football League. And the only reason he’s not going to get the MVP is because it’s really turned into a quarterback award. Oh, by the way, you have the best defense in the National Football League. I mean, look at those guys. Just some dogs. You’re missing your green dot. Your captain Tyrese Knight has to fill in for him. What does he do? Oh, just a measily. Just a measily. Eight plus tackles. Gets in the back field, forces two fumbles on two sacks that lead to Demarcus Lawrence scoring two touchdowns. By the way, Demarcus Lawrence has more touchdowns than many of the opposing NFL teams favorite players. This team is nasty and you can get it done. You have an easier schedule than what the Rams have going. And I think that this team is going to continue to improve. I don’t know that you necessarily have the better quarterback this year in the NFL. I think it’s pretty much a wash. But I will say that defensively, I’m riding with the Seahawks. And when it comes to that wide receiver position, I do think you have the best wide receiver. Maybe it’s all going to come down to who has the best running game on Sunday.
