Bam Knight Road Essentials | AZ Cardinals

What’s up, guys? This is Bam Knight here, and these are my top five road essentials. Starting up here, first, we have my journal and then this notebook. This journal for me, I bring it along with me on the road games cuz it’s kind of like this is like my peace. This is where I talk to God. This is where, you know, I kind of just have those conversations with them. I always leave this either at my house whenever we have home games or whatever or I take it with me and keep it in the hotel room cuz like it’s personal. You know, this is something that I do in my alone time. You know, I don’t want to lose it and have somebody find it, see what I’ve been talking about cuz, you know, this is kind of like my one-on-one conversation with God. This one on the other hand, this is kind of like my daily goal journal. So if I want to, you know, get a extra 50, 100 catches on the jug machine and want to do some extra tempos after practice, this is where I write it down in the morning what my goals are for the day. Then at the evening, I kind of go back and write down whether or not I executed it or how do I plan to kind of make up for it the next day. For item number two, we’re going to go with cologne. Since I was a kid, my mom always raised me kind of with the mindset that there’s nothing that a woman finds more attractive than a man that smells good. So, you know, now that I’m able to afford to buy these things, it’s something that I take pride in. You know, even if I’m just going to the store or whatever, I always have a cologne on. So, for the road games, obviously with the outfits and stuff we wear, you know, smelling good is a necessity. So, cologne is my number two. So, let me let me get a backstory. So, this one specifically, this is uh Bond number nine, Dubai Gold. This was my first ever like I guess expensive cologne. My mom bought this for me in college uh for a New Year’s Eve present. And this is just my first scent. I fell in love with it. This probably like my third or fourth bottle buying since then. I mean, it’s kind of faded out as far as being my favorite, but like I always want to keep this in a rotation. This I mean, everybody knows what this is. This is Bakarat. And then this one right here is Tom Ford. Effing fabulous. Can’t say the f word. But this one right here, the Tom Ford is probably my number one right now. And then I try to rotate in this whenever I can. I always try to rotate. But these two right now, probably if you see me in public or whatever on game day, you’ll probably smell one of these two scents right here. For item number three, obviously as a athlete, you need some type of headphones, earbuds, whatever the case may be. These are my three right here. the AirPod Pro Maxes, the regular AirPod Pros, and then I have the Bose earbuds. Probably my two mainly used one, primarily used ones are the earbuds and the headphones. I prefer these over these just because these slide off during warm-ups and stuff. And I just like not having to readjust it every time trying to lay on the ground to stretch my legs or something. So, these are primarily what I use on a day-to-day basis. But all three of these are good. All three of these are great. I’m a big R&B guy. So, pregame, no matter what the case may be, I’m always listening to R&B. You know, I have a little rap, a little country. I listen a little bit of everything, but R&B is my number one. Kind of like listen to a lot of female artists, male artists, you know, whatever the case may be. For item number four, I have these bags. This one is a toiletry bag, and this one is a messenger bag. You know, some people may say a man purse, whatever the case may be. But this one specifically, obviously self-explanatory. Kind of all my deodorants, toothbrush, toothpaste, everything goes in here that I need, you know, just hygiene stuff. I kind of just keep this on me. I stuff it in one of my bags or whatever. Just you need your necessities in here. And then this one right here, I have a lot of devices I take with me on the road. I have two phones, two tablets, and then like obviously all these headphones, earphones, you saw. So, I put a lot of chargers in here. I have my wallet, passport. Sometimes I don’t feel like having a strap on my shoulder or whatever. So, both of these are kind of like statement pieces, you know, when you walk in public. It’s kind of one of those things like if you know, you know. Sometimes it’s just good to treat yourself to some nice stuff. So, so for my fifth and final item, it’s going to be hats or headwear, however you want to word it. I had dreads. I’ve had long hair primarily my entire life. And I recently cut my dreads off about 2 years ago. And when you have dreads and long hair, you aren’t able really to wear as many hats as you want to just cuz of fitment issues. So once I cut my dreads, it was kind of a way for me to just kind of get back into that. Just get into different hats, different brands and stuff like that. And you know, if you ask anybody here on the team, 85, 90% of the time you see me, I have a hat on, a do-agg, beanie, whatever the case may be. So, hats, it’s always an essential. I always take some with me on the road, away games, whatever the case may be. What’s your go-to go-to hat? I really didn’t bring the specific one, but second to that probably would be this one, a gallery department hat. I got this my rookie year. It’s a custom hat with the patches. You know, they do this. Obviously, it’s extra charge if you do the patches, but So, this is a oneonone hat. So, this is probably my second most worn hat, but probably my favorite cuz this you won’t see anybody else that has this hat. These are my top five road essentials. Thank you guys for tuning in and watching. [Music]
