After shattering his 2024 receiving yards totals with the Titans, Treylon Burks had his sights set on breaking his HOF award-considering career high season receiving record of 444 yards.
It is a lofty goal, but if anyone can pull off this feat, it's Treylon "Breakaway" Burks.
Tragically, his dreams took a big hit when it was revealed he would be out for this Sunday's game.
An unnamed source, who wished to stay anonymous, had this to say about the star's fall from grace:
"Yeah, I mean, he tried giving it a go, but….damn. Those finger injuries, man. You just don't bounce back from those."
Commanders' fans wait with bated breath, wondering if this is the end of the road for Breakapart…err…Breakaway Burks…a promising injury-prone career, ironically cut short by….injuries.

Why are we shitting on a dude for being injury prone? This fanbase is pretty lame lately. This and the “VrAbEl is BaD AckShUlLy” cope posts are wack
Wish him the best but couldn’t be more glad he’s off this team. Not his fault that he was injured all the time or overdrafted, but the discourse around him was absolutely exhausting.

I dunno why the need to mock Burks. Between injuries and talent he just didn’t have it, he never phoned it in or didn’t try for us. Not his fault he got drafted where he did. Sucks for him he can’t stay healthy I’m sure it kills him not being able to stay on the field
Just because Jrob made a dumb decision doesn’t mean that it’s Burks fault, how his career shaped up so far. Besides it’s not like AJ is doing much right now..averaging 51 yards a game. I get the attempt at the joke, just meh, you’re just sounding like a bitter ex at this point..but hey we miss all the shots we don’t take, right?
