We’re up to 3 OCs and more QBs than I care to remember now. Gotta admire the consistency.

Only one thing has been consistent: Tomlin. I think he’s a very good coach, but sometimes it’s just time to move on. Look at the Penguins and Mike Sullivan, a guy who won a Stanley Cup more recently than the Steelers have won a playoff game. Sometimes you just have to recognize when it’s not working anymore and accept that it’s ok if he moves on to be successful somewhere else.
Yeah it was bad, we all saw it
It’s almost like it’s a team sport and if 11 players and a whole staff aren’t firing on all cylinders you are going to experience problems
I truly don’t understand how people can watch a quarterback fuck up that badly and point to the OC lmao. There were consistently plays to be made. He missed 2 wide open touchdowns. And missed DK wide open and decided to throw a pick instead. I didn’t care for the 3rd and 2 pass when Jalen was hot. Or the fade to DK but that game was all but over then anyways. But if Rodgers plays even slightly above complete dogshit, we can keep the ground game going. I didn’t think Arthur Smith called a bad game. His quarterback just fucking sucked.

I’m not really sure what everyone was expecting. We patched together a bunch of vets beyond their prime and thought we’d be good? Beyond the vets, the offensive line is pretty bad and the defense is non existent without getting multiple turnovers. Boswell and Warren are the only players that look like they actually give a shit. Fire every coach and hire new ones and this team still wouldn’t be good.
And to get those 3 we needed a 59 yard FG
Smith has made some bad calls here and there but this game wasn’t on him. It’s Rodgers and the oline.
The good news is we probably won’t see a game that bad from Rodgers for the rest of the year.
One consistency is the guy at the top. He must go after this season. Enough is enough.
Pittsburgh always blames the OC. Maybe twice it was warranted. Fichtner (Ben’s puppet who had no business being an OC), and Matt Canada, which speaks for itself. I don’t think Tomlin is an easy HC to be an OC for since he is so conservative and doesn’t really have a philosophy.
Steelers are fourth worst offense and fifth worst defense in the league, Tomlin coaching tree has sprouted zero head coaches or successful coordinators around same league, Khan has invested enormously to fix OL and an entire defense…anyone see this as an organizational failure from top to bottom??? I sure do
But how many -good- QBs have we had? That’s why we suck above anything else
